Hello bosses in the house,

I am applying for PhD in Operations Management and I need help with regards proofreading my SOP as I need to submit my application against fall entry.

Please gurus in the house, I know this is a lot to ask for as y'all are busy, but I will sincerely appreciate anyone willing to help a brother.

Phd or MBA should be the better option.
Thanks, but MBA tuition is relatively high and most schools requires GMAT, on the other hand, most schools also require GMAT for non STEM PhD programs.

Good day house,

Please what is your advice for a brother who already has a masters degree in Operations Management and doesn't want to write GMAT, but wants to study in Canada. Is another master degree an option or he should further to PhD?

Kindly help. Thanks

Good day everyone,

I hold a masters degree from the UK and please, I need someone to work me through a couple of questions as I intend migrating.

Can I put in for a 1 or 2yrs PGD program in Australia? If yes, what's the work permit duration I can get after studying?
What are my chances of obtaining PR through schooling there?
Can I apply to study a skilled occupation? If yes, what is the possibility of obtaining PR also?

Thanks

Hello everyone,

I need your honest candid advice on this.

Suppose you've a masters degree & you're looking forward to leaving naija soonest, would you rather apply for the express entry or go for PhD assuming funds isn't an issue.

NB: I just got rejected based on "purpose of visit" for applying for PGD.
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by xplen(m): 9:44pm On Aug 13, 2016
Good day house,

I hold a B.Sc in Industrial Chemistry and M.Sc in Oil & Gas Operations Management, and I was denied visa some days back having been admitted to SAIT for the BAPT program, reason was "purpose of visit".

However, I intend to settle for PhD and I was hoping I can get suggestions with regards to schools good in research, with less tuition and probably scholarship opportunity. Also, do I need to write GMAT in order to be considered?

Thanks

The most pressing concern is that a bachelors is lower than a masters degree. Yet, I think the former is more 'technical' than the latter (masters in oil/gas) and you may be able to spin it with a convincing SOP but this is purely my personal view. Kindly, request further advice from people in your field.
Yeah, I get your point....thanks bruh

Kindly follow this link to get a general idea.

It's not a gap. Simply state what you've been doing (school management) with evidence to back your claims i.e photos, pay stubs, and other relevant documents.

No. Please find CIC approved clinics
here

PS- If it isn't too late I'd advise that you secure admission for at least a PGC since you have a first degree and masters. Explaining why you're going for an advanced diploma after masters might be near impossible.
Thanks for the response and advice, I really appreciate. For SAIT, I applied for Bachelor in Applied Technology, Petroleum Engineering. Is this okay, knowing I already hold a masters degree in Oil and Gas Management?
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by xplen(m): 11:23pm On Jan 03, 2016
Good day pals,

I hold B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in 2011 & 2013 respectively. I applied to SAIT and Lambton College both for fall 2016 for advanced diploma, though I'm yet to get a response, hence, I'd like senior men in the house to put me through pertaining the following;

1. What documents would I be needing for visa application?
2. Apparently, after my M.Sc, I've been managing my dad's school and projects based on the naija job situation. How do I explain this gap at the embassy?
3. Can the medicals be done at any hospital and upfront?

Thanks.
TravelDiploma Or Masters? Please Help by xplen(op): 11:26am On Feb 11, 2015
Good day house, please I'd be very grateful if I could get a couple of advices regarding this.

I completed my BSc in Industrial chemistry and Masters in Oil and Gas Operations Management, with little working experience.

I want to migrate to Canada but confused either to get a diploma from NAIT/SAIT in engineering or go for a masters program in engineering. I was considering Petroleum engineering in either case but with the fall in oil price, a lot of people are loosing their jobs so I'm quite skeptical about this field, although still contemplating on chemical engineering.

Please, a need of word of advice about what school to go for and also what to study.

Thanks
