Nairaland / General / Nairaland Future Shutdown Should Be Forestalled by XploraBen(m): 9:24am On Dec 21, 2023
I have seriously missed Nairaland in these two days of shutdown.😞

Nairaland has become my goto source for local and international news and trends. I had to visit the Nigerian Punch website about two days ago to keep abreast with local news but I got bored. angry

One thing that makes reading news really interesting on Nairaland is the comments. cheesy I like how the comment section portray different kinds of reasoning and perspectives – some apt and insightful, some funny, some weird, and some totally off the topic.

Nairaland has become as addictive as Twitter (X), not only for me, but for many members as well. Also, some members make a living off the clients they get from Nairaland.

I just hope Seun Osewa will do everything necessary to forestall future long-term shutdown of Nairaland.

Welcome back Nairaland!😊

I got buzzed out twice for using same system.
So I currently do not have any Means of registration for now
Oh, that's bad.

Even my current account came after more than three trials after my first account was terminated for unintentionally violating one of their rules.

Where the major hurdle lies is in passing their essay.

can you please tell me how you write their essay and pass it?
First, ensure the essay is written to address the topic.

And it is very important your essay is not plagiarised. Even if you're going to be looking at other people's work, ensure you write down the ideas you garner from them in your own words.

Lastly, take formatting serious. Livingston Research uses MLA, so ensure you format your essay based on it.

Probably u e still repeating the same mistake over and over again. There is always work for one to do, depends on how strong one's profile rating is. A+ level gets list of orders they all attend to.
No, it's not that I've made any mistake with this new account. In fact, I've not even done any work on it.

When I reached out to Freelancer Care, they told me they have limited work available, which the A+ level freelancers get.

Yes sir
I previously had an account (with earnings) that was banned early this year for unintentionally violating some of their rules.

After many trials, I've been able to successfully open another account and I have been there for about 2 months now but it's always saying there's no job available.

So I haven't done any job since I opened this new account.

It's a sad reality, most especially if you're from a struggling family.
But as a man, we just have to stay strong, get back on your feet, and restrategize.

Most times, you use small fee to bring people closer.
The grammar they use is:

As low AS ₦100
I understand, but I believe the best thing is not to specify any fee or price at all.

Then if any serious person or business enquires, the developer can then give a list of prices (with breakdown) for the development of different types of websites.
Programming / Re: I Give Up, Am Not Doing Again? by XploraBen(m): 11:32am On Nov 18, 2023
Let's assume it's a typo.

Because I don't really know why a developer will collect this crumb to develop a website. sad
Events / Re: About To Cancel A Marriage Scheduled To Hold On Sunday. by XploraBen(m): 10:10pm On Nov 17, 2023
Your brother better call off the marriage himself.

How can a lady one is yet to marry pick up an issue such as this?

What will happen after getting married?

This is an obvious red flag that shows the lady is not understanding enough and this may not make the marriage last.

Nice. Now log on to Coursera.org, create an account and we'll take it from there.

N.B: Also note that you'll need a valid ID card to get access to the "verified certificate" after you've completed the course. Drivers license, International Passport is best.
I already have an account on Coursera.

Yeah, I know about the valid ID thing for certificate collection.

After seeing these photos one can’t helping if it’s the same God that created all of us. Oyibo go clean everywhere, make good roads, prune trees and plants, line their streets with rubbish bins, organize everything well while the black race struggle to get the simplest things done.
One of the things that fascinates me about many of these developed countries is their cleanliness. Like almost everywhere is squeaky clean and organised.

Back here, we still struggle with implementing and maintaining even the most basic of social amenities.

I just pray God make a way for me to experience life in one of these developed countries.
