I already made it very clear to you that if at all I'll take any replacement from you, you have to send it to Akure coz I'll never spend another 25-30k on a seed that may not even germinate. If you can't send the replacement to Akure or to publicly apologize to all the people you have scammed in one way or the other never bother me again I don't even need pepper seeds at the moment, the better ones I bought are ok for me, no any cracked one inside and the germination was superb.

Stop selling this scam you call scorpion, the hype you've given it nobody has come here to corroborate it, people that have spoken up said they saw irregular fruits, different fruits on the same plant, this is a result of replanting an hybrid seed(f2).

You just wash hybrid seeds and sell to people, you don't even know how to preserve the seeds.

Another thing is you always mention company company. You're the one selling the seeds stop doing as if the decision or responsibility lies on the so called company. You scammed me and I called you out now you're saying the company says this and that.

Don't bother me again, I leave the money and the seed for you.

He did the same Thing to me 2 yes ago....he was to supply me pepper seedling which he showed me the video on whatsapp only to send me the seedling that are yet to reach transplanting age.... seedling got to me weak and melted....remember the ones he advaticed are very grown ones only to send me prematured ones ....i complained to him he promised to send better ones but till date no responce from him

You should have brought it to the public notice, even though you didn't get replacement or refund, it would have saved others from falling victim, maybe I might have even seen your post and won't fall for his scam. Those that have not done business with him and still thinking he's genuine, their eyes will clear when he equally scam them.

With the way he talked to me on Whatsapp I 100% believe this guy is a scammer and will never refund my money or replace the seeds if care is not taken I will continue losing more money to him by paying a so called driver and at the end of the day he will send me trash.

So I believe this thread will save one or two people from falling for his scam.

The other person that came out to corroborate my story, you read it yourself. He said the seed you sold to him cracked exactly like the ones in the pictures I posted, he had to rush to nurse it that he knew if he waited till December(which he already planned to nurse it) the seeds would never germinate. So did he also expose it to ants?

So why still keeping such seeds till now and continue selling it to people.

Even till now you have never agreed you did anything wrong. All that matters most to you is the deletion of this thread.

Business is not only about making money but to also satisfy those patronizing it. Any business that doesn't put the interest of the customers into consideration will not go far.

I told you earlier, if the seeds were intact and not cracked, the issue of no germination wouldn't have meant much to me.
Another thing is: I kept you updated with everything concerning this seed, before and after opening it, nurseries of different batches, and you were aware that not even a single seed sprouted. After all these, the most painful thing is at the end you turned around and accused me of being the one that ants spoiled the seeds.

I will just advise you to improve on your customer relation, sometimes in a case like this, even though the fault is from you but with the way you'll relate with the customer he/she will easily accept the lost and will still continue to patronize you.

I will also advise you to stop selling all the cracked seeds you're having in possession,just destroy them,don't be too smart,coz the people you'll sell them to won't be happy to lose their money in such way.

On sending another seeds to me, I already bought all the seeds I need for my project and I'm not ready to waste more money on your seeds, the money I'll still spend before getting the seed will close to buying another 50g(that won't give me any headache) here.

If you have a genuine intention of replacing it with good ones that will germinate, I have someone coming here between 2nd and 5th January, you can send it to him otherwise let's forget about it. Also you can't give me any condition before you will send me the replacement, it's what I've already paid. If you want me to agree to your condition before sending it then it means you've not learnt anything from this, and it's better you keep the seed and I'll forget what you did and move on like nothing had happened.

Boss @Okoroemeka, I have nothing but respect for you in this Agric space. I would urge that you look into the issue of the collection, preservation and packaging of your seeds.

I do not know the OP and have never communicated with him. However I also had issues with the pepper seeds I got from you earlier this year.

I bought red and yellow scorpion; Nsukka pepper. The pack of Nsukka (a small quantity in a different type of pack) opened and spilled before it got to me. I informed you about this.

The red and yellow scorpion seeds developed fungal attack (like in OP's picture) the yellow a few days after I bought them and the other about two weeks later, while still unopened and kept where I keep other seeds. My seeds from other companies including the okro I got from you are still ok as I write. This fungal issue caused me to plant all the red and yellow scorpion immediately and all at once unplanned as I noticed the issue. I had planned to do it in batches because of my limited space and also at the end of the year/early next year. However I had to rush to sow the seeds in June as I feared they would spoil further and no longer germinate by December.

I soaked for about two days with fungicides and had very good germination rate. I never mentioned this to you but I should have and am sorry to be bringing it out here like this now.

The third issue I have is that the fruits that came (from red and yellow scorpion) are a
wide assortment of pepper varieties: the red and yellow scorpion, and then small amounts of up to 3 or 4 other different varieties. I was suprised at this but went back to read your threads and discovered that you developed the yellow scorpion and probably the red scorpion varieties yourself. So I excused this.

Furthermore they are packed in another institutions packaging which I don't think is right.

The above are my experiences with my purchase from Okoroemeka.

I also noticed the bolded and I asked him. Nothing bad if he's the one extracting the seeds and packaging it, he should just do more research to improve on it and also be bold enough to put his own name on the label or he shouldn't add any label at all. He shouldn't try to compare his seeds with the like of technisem and co coz those are already big names and people already knew their standard so if their seeds doesn't germinate, in most cases the fault is from the dealers, not the companies.
There is temperature range for seeds storage and some dealers doesn't put it in their consideration.

I have read all your pepper and garden egg writeups from Genesis to Revelation and you sef times without number have talked abt difficulties in seed preservation, grading and final germination on both local, EU/USA and the Cameroon variety.

I am a pepper and ginger farmer too so I know what I am talking about.
One time we bought 2 cans of 50 g Avenir F1 Technisem original from the company with expiry date 2 years+, 1 can sprout more than 85%, the other can no reach even 10%.
We followed all the best practices, there were no ants, no reptiles, nothing but the 2nd can germination was very very disappointing.
We no go Technisem make dem refund us, we cut our losses and moved on.
So if you can accept my proposal that @Okoroemeka refunds you 50% of what you spent and let's move on like gentlemen and you delete this thread.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions and 99 good plus 1 bad is equal to 100 bad.
Sell only seedlings or sign an agreement with any seed buyer that he will pay your money 100% before shipping and you will not be responsible if it germinates or not to avoid stories that touch the heart like this one.

I have carefully read from the both parties. I am not here to cast any aspersions but to share some experiences that might benefit all and sundry.

This type of issue is not uncommon in the seed biz arena. I have been there before... I can relate with both sides

1. Many yrs ago, there was a particular batch of Avenir F1 pepper seed in the circulation that refused to germinate. That year most pepper farmers counted their losses. Imagine big seed firm like technisem!
2. Few years ago I think Mr emmaachille decided to clear his shelves of some left over seeds like carrots, onions, cucumber etc, I put in and got some. Unfortunately most of the seed did not germinate. I concluded the seeds are probably stale and he is not aware that that they will not germinate. Considering the fact he has done businesses that run into millions of naira on this forum, I know he is too big to scam me and others who got the seeds at just shikini change. Till today, I never even mention it to him.
3. I bought some heirloom pepper seeds like two different varieties from my regular supplier in Feb. I nursed out of it for my clients same month and both varieties did germinate excellently well. Two months later after I supplied my clients with the seedlings, it was time to nurse the ones I will plant for myself, only one out of the two varieties germinated, still same stock o, just 2 months interval...I tried diff methods, na lie e no gree.
4. I supplied a woman in Uyo like 2 or 3kg( I can't remember exactly like over 4 yrs now) of my okra seed. I was shocked when she called me few days later that all the seed did not germinate. This is strange! I quickly took few seed from the batch to experiment, lo and behold...she was right! I quickly apologized and packaged another batch and sent to her all bills on me. I even thanked her for not coming online to give me a bad name.
5. An intending buyer called for okra seed in 2nd quarter of the year. He said he will be planting by Dec/Jan dry season. Considering the lesson I leant from point 4 above, I told him... Dec is still far, don't buy from this batch, it's germination rate may diminish by then, wait and watch out for current/new batch by then.

I believe both parties involved can infer one or two things from the experiences I shared above.
Oga Okoroemeka pls try to reach a compromise with your client. I know you are far bigger than the cost price of the seed involved, in this biz, sometimes we deliberately part with some resources...it's part of the risk in the biz. Oga xpol, it's obvious you are still angry, pls after the compromise, do something about the thread. Shalom.

What you did in your number 4 is what is expected from a good businessman/or woman. Having a good customer relation saves one from many problems from the customers. Sometimes you may not even refund or replace but the customer will understand and be satisfied.
If these seeds were in good shape but didn't germinate I wouldn't have been much concerned but they've all cracked and I called his attention to it even before opening it. ". I will send you a replacement next week, I will send you a replacement next week" he was just using delay tactics and at the end he turned around and accused me of being the one that spoiled the seeds. Even after bringing the issue here, he was still lying that he even offered to send me seedlings free of charge from the abundance they were having but I refused. I even told him that if he knew he wouldn't replace the seeds he should let me know so that I could buy elsewhere coz I wanted to transplant by December but he assured me he would send it, after delaying me for over a month he turned around to accuse me that I allowed ants to eat the seeds.

I'm a retired police officer, so before coming online to expose you, I already have evidence to prove, the date I received the seeds,the date I complained to you the seeds already cracked and you said I should tried it and let's see the germination rate, are all in our WhatsApp conversations, I even sent you your balance before receiving the seeds bcoz I forgot my phone on the ground and my boys didn't know and they on the rain hose(for irrigation) then it got spoilt so for you not to be thinking I went offline bcoz of your balance.

I received the seed on the morning of October 30th, and I could see the cracks through the transparent pack, I kept it in the house and went to the city, there I got my phone fixed and messaged you if you've seen the balance I sent,I told you my phone spoiled that I just fixed it and I came back to the farm on November 6th, I didn't want to open the seeds at all I wasn't sure it would germinate so I decided to message you and you said I should nurse it and let's see the germination rate. I just tried about one seed tray(128 holes) after about 7 days I messaged you again that none germinated. I sent you the picture of the seeds to see how they have all cracked.you said ok you'll send the pictures to the company and they would replace the seeds for me.

You started using delay tactics,till it's over a month and you suddenly turned around and accused me of allowing the ants to eat the seeds. I would have forgotten everything and wouldn't even bother of bringing the issue here but bcoz you're proving to be a smart scammer.if you've even told me that you tried your best but the company refused to replace it I would just rest. I was even planning of sending you 270k for drip tape( that we earlier discussed )after we finished seed transactions(cos I was planning of buying up to 150g to complete the section I'm using for pepper. All what this guy is saying is just pure lies to cover his deeds. If you notice I do send screenshots to back up what I say let him also do screenshots of backing up all those things he's saying then we know who is lying. Attached pics are the seed inside the transparent nylon pack, the label and the brown envelope he used to send it, when I received the seed I could clearly see that many of the seeds have cracked even without opening it, I complained to him, he said I shouldn't worry that I should nurse it and let's see if it would germinate.

How is it a long time ago. If you read my post you'll understand better, I discovered it upon arrival and I complained to him but he said I should nurse it and let's see if some will germinate, since then he's been dragging it, telling me he would send replacement next week. After the next week he would tell me again to nurse another seeds and let's see if it'll germinate.

Suddenly this guy changed the whole thing and said the fault was from me that I let ants ate the seeds.

I even told him if he knew he wouldn't send the replacement he should let me know so that I can buy elsewhere.

After sending the seeds, you didn't even wait till I received it, you started giving me pressure.

we have heard from one side of the story,now let us hear my own side,this my fellow farmer based in Ghana and wants 50 grams of pepper seed so he contacted me but insisted he will not full amount that he will pay half and after receiving will pay remaining half,we delivered the goods and he paid the balance,he opened the sealed satchet and collect a free seeds and tried and didn't properly reseal the packet or transfer into glass jar,so ants entered and ate the seeds,he later did another nursery and a few came up and started complaining which we find unusual because we have delivered to more than 500 farmers this year alone both in Nigeria and beyond with no complains,so I give our director the feedback that the customer is demanding replacement but they said the fault is from his side that they will only replace 25 grams or half that he will cater for the remaining half,I told the farmer involved and he started abusing me and calling me scammer,I told him that the company will send the waybill to him the next Friday,they sent the materials that day from aba to Lagos and paid the driver but this farmer refused to call the driver or send his people to collect it,the driver later called me that the office has washed their hands off the matter that the receiver is not picking their calls,after 4 days in Lagos I have to pay#3000 naira for waybill to another driver again to onitsha and then I collected it back,I informed the farmer that the driver is in Lagos and calling him to send somebody to collect it and he said he will forget it and buy seeds from technisem in ghana ,if you know that is your plan why putting us to great stress and expenses to send that package to Lagos?,next thing is for him to call me a scammer

I'm not new to farming,. I've bought seeds more time even imported ones that didn't germinate, every farmer knows that as part of the business but you see the seeds this guy sent to me is pure scam and nothing else.

All the seeds have cracked open. If it's in a sealed can I would have said he's not aware of it. It's in a transparent nylon and you can see the cracks even before opening it so he deliberately did that.

Let me tell you how it all started then you'll know he's a scam.

First he told me if I buy from him he would add extra 5g
Second he said the money I would pay would cover the logistics of delivering it to my driver.
After payment this guy started telling a different story that I should send money to the driver that's bringing it to my driver, I refused, and after some dragging he said he would pay.
