You don't know the basics and that's the truth, nobody with even a basic knowledge of economics would think you can just print money to settle your debts.not even secondary school students would say that. It's called public debt for a reason.
If US defaults on those debts it immediately lose it's position as the world's biggest reserve currency and it's fvcked, all the dollarized economy will suffer and immediately move away from the currency to save value.
No one will buy dollar bonds again and china and Russia will swoop in and take over almost immediately .
Ruble is the strongest currency in the world now,why can't Russia print a couple trillion of it and start spending, what a ignorant idea

I really wonder how we plan to develop. This has clearly shown that our educational institutions play no role in our drive for a better country.

Those money used to build railway that has been taken over by the bandits could have helped reposition our institutions as a resource center to champion our development as a nation.

It's not just enough to want to have good roads, railway, flyovers etc. You should first educate your people and in return they will have the required skill set to build and maintain these infrastructure internally. That's how civilization is sustained.

We didn't learn anything from the Ajaokuta steel and the refineries we have kept burning cash on in the name of Turnaround maintenance
