Unlock your Swift, Spectranet, and Smiles etc LTE Modem.

Follow the steps and procedures outlined below to unlock your Huawei modem:


Step 1. Power off your Huawei mifi modem

Step 2. Note and write down the IMEI Number of your modem.

Step 3. Download DC unlocked Huawei Modem/router unlock code calculator for free and generate the first code for free. Since I have just one modem E5372 it's gave me 3 different codes, I use the third code i.e ALGO 3 and it's unlock my modem. So make sure you input the right imei. Make sure your phone is connected to the internet to generate the code.

Step 4. Insert any other network service provider SIM (Invalid SIM) and Turn on your mifi modem.

Step 5. Connect with the modem to your PC or phone or via the Wi-fi I unlocked mine with
My phone. I connected the Mifi wifi to myphone via wifi. If it ask you for login use admin as username and password.

Step 6. Type http://192.168.8.1 (Which is Default Interface of your mifi Router) into your browser, it will indicate an invalid or Locked SIM with a pop-up to enter the unlock code

Step 7. Enter the unlocking code generated with your IMEI from the Huawei Code Calculator

Step 8. Now navigate to ADVANCED SETTINGS >> SIM SETTINGS >>UNLOCK DEVICE >> ENTER THE UNLOCK CODE >> APPLY. Your router is unlocked

Step 10. Enjoy your unlocked Huawei LTE.

Access bank selling for 253 very cheap, so if you need to change pound, you can visit the bank.

bunburized: Another option is go to bank with any other member of your family that runs an account in any of the banks I listed earlier.
My guess is that they can sell to you using them as guarantor.
My Dad was told at Union Bank to provide my documents and they will sell to him.
I don't know if it is legal or they just want to give him that concession because he is well known there.
However, before he got home I have already done the exchange at Diamond bank.

Ders a limit to how much foreign exchange one can get, if not dt means u can keep returning everyday to d bank to collect pta. Wat I am saying is : you are d only one who cn do it for urself. Unless u hv anoda friend who has a valid visa n ticket and who does not need d pta for himself.

bunburized: I just stepped out of Diamond bank branch around my area after filling loads of forms with £2,440 in my pocket at a mouth watering rate of 262.
I advice anyone that has already gotten their visa and booked their flight to just head to their bank with the documents and request for BTA. You must have an account with any bank you intend visiting(so I was told).
However, diamond bank amongst all the banks I run an account with has the best rate.
It doesn't need much explanation and it should be a straight forward transaction.
I didn't have to beg anyone nor even know anyone.

bunburized: My friend always contact the customer care center for rates before visiting the bank.
As at Friday it was 263 @ diamondbank. I wonder what rate your friend gave you but I am sure it wasn't the official diamondbank's rate.
On Monday you can call diamondbank's customer care around 9am and verify the rate. After which you can proceed to the nearest diamondbank branch or you can ask the agent for a branch closest to you that will be able to complete the transaction.

I was also informed abt CBN ban but a friend working in Diamond bank promised to help me change for 267 as at Friday but I am still patient anyways since there is still time incase the rate might fall...

bunburized: BA ke? Travel Lufthansa, KLM, Air France, Virgin Atlantic or Egypt Air. They all have generous baggage allowance(2x 23kg). KLM and Air France have a 12kg hand luggage allowance also.
I also noticed a return ticket is cheaper. For example: a one way Air France ticket to Manchester was quoted N287,000 but a return ticket with date of return sometime in December cost me about N199,000.
You can choose not to use the return ticket and forfeit it. Afterall, it saved you N87,000 or like myself use it within the valid period.
The advantage here is that I can always reschedule the return date to suit my itinerary as it is valid for one year with a little penalty (about $120).

coming to food, MOST foodstuffs from Africa are accepted. they only have problem with liquid stuffs.
The reality is dat u pay tax if some foodstuffs crossed a certain weight limit cos they see it as likely to be sold.
