for here in Umudike MOUAU first year students pay 15800 for acceptance mandatory 60k for some stupid hostel and 50k+ depending on your department. in fact to register some you pay. we register our courses for the session twice, one online and the other manual. that online is too steal 2500 from student because failure to register manually means you won't see any result but if you can successfully prevent that online registration with manual done your results will be released. |
Politics › Re: Buhari Has Announced Professor Yemi Osinbajo As Running Mate [Confirmed] by xtremrules(m): 11:28am On Dec 17, 2014 |
iGeneral: Four things about this choice:
1. Place Oshibajo beside sambo and let them debate on any issue, we know who will win
2. With Oshibajo on the ticket, GEJ can't go to Adeboye to commit that kneeling down fraud he committed in 2011 which he used to cream RCCG members vote. So GEJ lost a block vote there cos there's an homeboy as VP.
3.Oshibajo will certainly win his Polling unit, ward, local govt and state. Unlike Sambo who walks like a duck and is notorious for losing even in his nuclear family. Sambo doesn't bring any electoral value to the GEJ ticket.
4. It follows therefore that this coming election is more about the prez candidates than any VP. And on this note most people agreed GEJ has made a mess of our nation and can't be allowed to continue on that trajectory.
And finally, if GMB had chosen Amaechi, PDP goons will say he is corrupt and a traitor. If he had chosen Oshiomole, they will bring up the issue of'go and die' for the campaign. If he chose Fayemi, they will say the man who was rejected for 2nd term by his own people. So it is good GMB went for a man without baggage. lol "even his nuclear family" but seriously although am Ibo, i will want GMB to win this election, man need new air |

Programming › Re: Gtbank Buying Credit From Your Account --does Anyone Know The Technology Behind? by xtremrules(m): 9:14am On Nov 01, 2014 |
webdezzi: i dont think a private organization will be needed in deploying such sensitive insecure solution. First off, I didnt know a group of Tech experts from top Nigerian banks and Telecomms will come up with such extremely insecure solution.
A user dials *737*500# and they get credited with no token required.
"The number has to be a registered number on the account"
and who says my phone cannot be stolen, and not turned into a mobile recharge card generating business. I wonder why i bought a token in the first place
To make matters worse, you cannot opt out of the service.
@clementpro, let me give you an insight into how this system works. using GTBank for instance GTbank met with the telcos and agreed to grant telcos access to every customer's account provided they are able to provide the customers' phone number (Not even name of account holder) when you dial that code, Telcos simply hit GTBank's server supplying your phone number.
Next GTBank searches it's database and gets the customer with the phone number. if it brings up multiple account numbers, it picks one, debits it and credits the telco's account with them.
A response is then returned to update the telcos on the status or the transaction which the telcos use to determine whether to credit you with call credits or not.
One major flaw in this deployment is that it takes a high access level staff of these telcos to know what URL or IP the bank uses and they can escalate things from there.
That is if the telecoms aren't playing a smart one on phone users, at this age when airtel will subscribe you to hello tunes and tell you that someone may have dialed the code in your absence. True talk bro. at least it should require a token. |

sauceny: Whatz this bloody civilian tryna do He should leave the military to their ruling & go do what he knows how to do best "civilian ruling"
I believe if those given the death sentence where found guilty shouldn't be pardoned. I mean, the army isn't jst a unified body where you make your own decisions, being an army comes with much work of full dedication & commitment in protecting your country...
I think they should face the sentence passed upon them to serve as a deterrent to others trying to follow same part, besides the motto has always been clear "Obey the last order".
If the Nigerian military men were chosen from nairaland,i think by now Nigeria would have been at the verge of collapse...Countries like Ghana,Sudan, Cameroon & others would have been a threat to us.
The military is meant for strong hearted men,not the timid men i see over here attacking me for being mean & wicked. Is quite clear u didn't read the post and u just commented. If you had read it you would have known he didn't say the should not be punished according to law if found guilty, but said a judgment was passes without fair hearing and trial. |

Yes, Rapawer is right. As for me the problem/challenge is not Visual studio, is learning a .NET not that they are hard, but just like every Programming language is time dedication and determination. As for me am learning C# with ASP.NET MVC. i did a little of VB.NET last year. Although there is certification for Visual studio, pick any .Net language you wish an start learning and forget learning Visual Studio. |

Education › Re: Ebola: School Owners, FG On Collision Course by xtremrules(m): 6:10pm On Aug 30, 2014 |
APContherun: Have the private schools owners considered what will happen should markets close down? In a situation such as we find ourselves now, market is more essential than school now so no need comparing the two. As for religious houses, the govt can't conveniently close them down given how "religious" we Nigerians are, thus the much it can do is partner with their leaders on the best way possible. The Catholic Church for instance has banned handshakes during the rite of peace and other measures already taken and the measures are being adhered to. Can these little kids be expected to abide by such measures at school? Certainly not. I feel the pains of the schools owners but also feel they should make this sacrifice for the sake of their students/pupils. So the kids are abiding to these rules about sanity at home? So far you can't control their action in school, u can't control it while they are in public places like play field , market, etc. In fact they are more likely to contact in these public places than at school. There is no logical reason why schools should resume on October. |
