There's no better person to protect and advance Tinubu's interest in the oil sector because Kyari is corrupt (they obviously got dirt on him) and that in itself gives Tinubu leverage. Mafias like the devil's advocate strategy. |
Bigots won't project bigotry here. E go touch everybody. |
They're mocking people to wait till 2027 because they're sure the rigging mechanisms will subsist, and that includes the pending appointment of a new CJN whom they believe is pliable. The questions they're not envisaging is, will there be an election in 2027? Will people go to court thereafter or hit the streets? There will be a revolution, but no one knows what the trigger would be. Instead of serving mankind so that they can build trust to be able to remain in office, they're making paupers of Nigeria and scheming to perpetuate themselves in power using the old tricks. Time will tell. |
Faiththatworks:Na grammar you dey speak so o. He has given you empirical facts about why it will never work: the policies were made in 'bad faith". Like the SAP became a tale to be told (if you weren't born then), it's now your turn to tell your kids about PBAT's economic somersaults. The fact that we keep moving in circles is the 8th wonder of the world. No sign we'll even get it right in 2027, because instead of checking antecedents, Nigerians 'wish, hope, pray'. God has already blessed Nigeria. Just count your 8 years down, and hope it counts for productivity if you still remain in Nigeria. LOL. |
Bigkoko:Lol. You're trying to appeal to the minds of people who do not understand what 'productivity' means and how much Nigeria as currently constituted, takes from them day-to-day. The number of underachieving 40 year old in Nigeria today should make anyone shudder, but no, they love their chains. Bunch of "hallelujah men" bound by tribalism but without any sense of entitlement. |
Nonybb:I think your submission lacks context. What you haven't realised is that we're faced with the same GEJ/GMB situation in 2015. The question is, what better alternative do Edolites have through the ballot? Don't talk about LP, because the grassroots indices are not in his favour. Have you met the APC guy, and those around him? Should we not judge between Asue and Okpebolo? Obaseki's shortcomings are not the issue here. Like I said, it's tit-for-tat comparison not sentiments. Since Nigerians made that mistake at the national level in 2015, you and I know the story today. APC candidate will reverse our fortunes in Edo State. Why? Because you can't give what you don't have; just like PMB ( PBAT's government is still new). The facts are always there, them no dey tell person. |
Buccalcavity2:A case of talking so much but saying little. LoL. Even recommending what people better and more qualified than you have done and given up doing. PO analyzed the rot in our institutions which we keep window dressing year after year with the paint of tribalism and religion. Bulk of the D'tigress team have no allegiance to Nigeria, it's just a platform for them to express themselves. Who trains them? What's the level of FG's investment in Amosun? Ofili nko? But bigoted folks would rather hail those using our national resources on frivolities. The fabrics of a sane society is dead and buried in Nigeria. My only prayer is for God not to allow Nigeria to bury the dreams of the kids of those who seek and pursue the highest good. PS: A friend is selling properties to relocate his son to purse a sporting career he's gifted in. Meanwhile, countries like Morocco and SA have developed a a grassroots system that is helping build future talents, just like Spain. Nigeria will continue to be a disappointment in the comity of nations. |
Idiots everywhere. Whether Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa; you're all victims of Nigeria. You'll never see Seyi or Wale Tinubu display this level of bigotry. Men are balling with your children's inheritance. Nigerians who promote tribalism are mostly living in the dredge of the society they belong. Igbos this, Yorubas that.... and you have no rights from the tribalism you carry on your heads. |
mastermaestro:Una done start this nonsense talk. Did Tinubu not shy away from the debate that was organised in his own backyard? Has he even addressed any group outside Esan land (e.g. student communities)? We are waiting for September 21st. Check my profile before you cap nonsense. |
Racoon:"For many of these ‘Hallelujah’ groups, it doesn’t matter if Tinubu performs in office or not as long as it is a Yoruba man that is there! They don’t care if or not their man would be leaving behind any legacy. These are the set of people (very many of them hungry and beggarly), who have taken the “Èmilókán” campaign to a level that no matter how fatuous a government policy is, as long it is Tinubu that initiated it, ‘all true sons and daughters of Yorubaland’ must embrace it!" This remains the disappointment of many who expected more from a region once touted to be intellectually above equals. Since Tinubu, I think the problem of most Yorubas is more of morality than education. It's hard not to think majority of them hold the view described above, and it's getting worse everyday (if we go by what we see online). SMH! |
blabulu2000:Lol. A true depiction of the sycophants people adduced are around the president. Cheering him for every misstep, even for someone without a strong political base in today's Nigeria. You think Nigeria is a drug cartel. When you finish stirring the hornet's nest, wait for the repercussions. A government without focus. |
Here's the story. Some group of wicked and amoral people from the SW defended a president from the North whom they knew was reversing the fortunes of Nigeria in every sector. They did it with all zeal, gearing at, and mudslinging sane minds from other regions (especially SS/SE) for 8 solid years. Now, they expected the North to reciprocate the gesture by defending a more clueless president from their region, but northerners gave them the middle finger rather than selling their souls for potage. The events since 2023 have reshape what we thought we knew about the values of each regions. Tinubu's ambition have rewritten the history of a whole generation. Time will tell the effect. |
Goodvibes007:It is tragicomic that your mental power is gradually diminishing because of the circle of influences you're enamoured with online. Obi couldn't gaslight them to vote for him, or protest when his mandate was stolen, but suddenly he's the magical gaslighter of millions of people in 19 States. Lol. Make una continue dey analyse the comments of people who have become mad because of hatred. If everything Reno says clicks in your brain, check yourself. |
CountinBlessins:Sometimes I think he's in over his head too, but it's the lack of empathy in his demeanor or utterances that makes people think otherwise. Again, he chose loyal but incompetent people over those that have competence and integrity. Believe me, if he had a good team, things wouldn't have been this bad. All he has are praise singers. |
TrackerSK:Lol. Sorry, it's not a foreign flag. I fell for it too. It's one of the insignia for our armed forces. It shows they're not as dumb as we think. The South is catching up slowly, but cannot defend anything on empty stomach. |
CountinBlessins:The videos are all over X, and there's something about a 'single narrative' (or adulation if you like): it is ENTICING. And the people who form the bulk of the Armed Forces are those who have no ethnic loyalty to this government. You can't expect them to use force on their people as an alternative. The only remedy is to reverse the removal of fuel subsidy (maybe for initial 6 month), and then he'll say the government will use the period to work out what is sustainable. That might give him a lifeline if he acts fast. However, the sycophants around him will not allow him see the truth. "In 'war' hesitation is death"- Anonymous Meanwhile, Punch Newspaper just reported this https://punchng.com/just-in-ipob-asks-for-referendum-says-igbo-ready-to-exit-nigeria/ |
Zionmdde:Finally, someone gets it. They are imploring the military to take over. It is not that the we in the better south do not know our objectives are different, but the question is what alternatives do we have that could make anyone defend this government? Right from electioneering till date, his supporters continue to rub mud in the faces of those who criticise this government, fanny the flames of bigotry and refusing to be sensitive to people’s realities. Now, the SE is quiet, SS protesting, SW caught in between hunger and allegiance. If they advised Tinubu to work for the masses, the narrative would have been different today. Hunger has united all tribes but the North has a higher motivation. If Tinubu doesn't come off his high horse to reverse those anti-people policies, the north might have their way, and nobody down south will defend him. |
Crimecity:Some people actually think you can quell huger-inspired insurrection with propaganda. We're watching. Someone asked if the northern military will use force on their kins, some folks were deluding themselves. They're flying what is misconstrued as a foreign flag uninhibited. Dangerous times ahead for Nigeria. Mutual trust will become elusive. |
Ddeliverer007:I'm surprised people found his speech shocking. We told them 'antecedents' matter, they chose propaganda instead. Tinubu is who he has always been (a kleptomanianc and authoritarian democrat). People are only just seeing him for who he is today. If he gets away with this, the next 3 yrs won't be funny for Nigerians. |
phylshan:This man's frustration is somehow to me. Like most of PBAT'S deluded supporters who thought wishes were horses. We told them 'antecedents' matter, they chose propaganda instead. Tinubu is who he has always been (a kleptomanianc and authoritarian democrat). People are only just seeing him for who he is today. Unfortunately, the ship has sailed for the next 3 years. |
ojun50:Exactly what I've been saying on this platform. It will take that opportune moment of privileged exposure to realise we are all victims of Nigeria one way or another, if one is not among the political or affiliated elite class. At that moment it would seem like Nigeria stole the most productive years of one's life by settling for less like our brothers that support retrogressive governments. |
savenaijatoday:They gain the lose of their productive years unknowingly. Consistent bad governance accumulate into a level of productivity that is not commiserate with effort put in. Those who were 15 yrs when Buhari came in, should be 24 yrs now, and by the end of PBAT's regime they'll be about 31 yrs. In real life over 85% of his supporters are living below the poverty line but are too blind to see the outcomes. How do I know, because they are not different from other stock of Nigerians in the streets. Only a minute few qualify as Middle class in today's Nigeria. The day any of his supporters travel out is when they'll realize they were victims of Nigeria all along. Nigeria is currently happening to many, but they're unaware. Before you know it, adulthood is here. That's why I can never be anti-japa. We were here when our older folks believed Nigeria would get better. With Leaders like Tinubu and Akpabio, it's a forlorn hope. |
Christistruth02:The real question is how did the kids waiving the flag (in the real pictures) afford it? It is a pretext for something sinister by the people in government to give fillip to their claim of external sponsors. Wait till you hear what TINUBU has to say tomorrow morning, and then wait for what will follow. If his speech bears no succour, come back to this post. APC is more than a party, it is a coven of vile folks. |
Goodvibes007:Lol. You see how senseless most of you are. The propaganda that they were orchestrating and leading the protests were too loud to ignore. Now that they've proven everyone wrong, and are hyperbolically in support of your master, yet you've all lost your peace. No scapegoat available. You can call it propaganda somersaults. Men are now wiser than gods. Igbos must remain uninvolved. |
Noerection:He should rather be talking about a ' stolen mandate' 1+ year after the courts have said otherwise? You are even too slow to understand the sarcasm in his post. Since APC coven (including Dapo Abiodun) believes he had the mandate of the people, let him live up to his responsibility and address the hunger crisis. His recurrent cluelessness is even a stain on the mandate he claims he has, and a testament that the likes of you voted for someone without capacity. That should reflect your ability for sound judgement but sense is naturally far from children of the corn. |
Ezewuzie01:This is supposed to be good news after all the man never inferred he was the spokesman of the region. However, it defeats the propaganda of some people who claimed he had the midas touch (or tongue) to instigate people to perpetrate violence. Is God not wonderful? I hope tomorrow, no one will link him to any negative activity in the region. |
Omicronvaccine:Lol. Men have become wiser than gods. Agbadorians will be confused now whether to blame them for not protesting or for supporting their beloved Tinubu. |
That post was very unnecessary. The game has changed but some people are still stuck in the past. Imagine a Northerner advocating Justice for Igbo people. When your actions are uniting perceived enemies, the matter now has k-leg. History will be kind to the noble people of the SW. |
Warrior99:LoL. This is the new resolution in your Whatsapp group? You people will never learn. When one propaganda fails, you move on to the next. The question people will ask is, who were the ibos? Sowore, Falana, Deji, VDM? How many popular figures who are Igbos made any comment in support of the protest? The statements of the denunciation of protest by different Igbo groups are all over the internet. They were not issued today, but weeks and days leading to today. Are you not ashamed? |
[quote author=Kingsmeal post=131269702]Protesters assemble at former President Muhammadu Buhari's residence in Daura, Katsina State. #EndBadGovernaceInNigeria Video is what the propaganda machinery failed to understand. The north is the tipping point, but all eyes were eastward because of their hatred. Now, they're confused whether to blame Igbos for staying aloof or not protesting against PBAT. The Lagos they were so focused on and dragged Igbos for has been relatively peaceful, so is all southern states. A region self-sabotaging itself. Let them continue with anti-igbo rhetorics. |
CriminalTinubu:They were looking to hang the mayhem on them. Propaganda falls flat, now they're now trying to gaslight them. The region has had a lot to grapple with, and has sacrificed too much for 'one Nigeria'. Let the other regions fight for their right to decent living. |
haslaw:Na wa o. The SE people are really victims of Nigeria. No other region is as occupied by security than SE as of today, yet they still take the sticks for trying to be peaceful. So, Igbos like Sowore and co magically instigated millions of people including northerners whom you all claim hate them, to go on rampage? They're not protesting in your Lagos, they're not the ones with empty pots in protest venues. When will your conscience come alive again? |
