As an Igbo man, I have no horse in the Rivers state race of shame, but you have to realise that new commissioners will have to be screen by the Rivers state HOA that seems to be dancing to Wike's tune.
Fubara may have to go through his first term with permanent secretaries of the various ministeries.

But one thing everyone has to realise is that Tinubu is supporting Wike, and Tinubu needs Rivers state badly, in the next election, and Wike wants to be in control of Rivers state, so he can replicate the illegality that Tinubu brought to the Nigerian government

In a bid to sound smart you even underestimated Tinubu. If Wike were half as politically clever as Tinubu is, he wouldn't be trying to emasculate a sitting governor. Tinubu will cut him loose soon, watch it.

You folks don't seem to give that man credit, he's not a dunce. Why sack them and then take the villain posture, when he could just give them an ultimatum (which he has obviously done), and let Rivers people fill in the gaps about the high-handedness of Wike? Obaseki was also asked to sack Oshiomhole's lackeys but PDP advised against it, and when the resignation letters started flying in, Obaseki had won the sympathy of people. The battle is long, and he needs to win the people to his side.

PS: Thank God you didn't single out ibos. Not that it matters. I may not know where all the courageous people are located in Nigeria, but we all know most of them reside in SS and SE. They don't fall for anything or anyone, not Wike not Asari. That's called VALUE. Same cannot be said about others.

Leave him, let him go to court and explain how 27 (absentee house members) is greater than 4 active ones. They always make the mistake of going into political wilderness to please the Abuja politician, just like it happened in Edo. The power of a state governor is no joke. You can't bet against them and win unless the president himself is involved. Rivers is too volatile and Tinubu is politically wiser than Wike.

The people who have advised fubara to take this route are his greatest enemy.When people hear certain things happen in politics,its always best to go look at the details to see what actually happened. I am from Edo state and i know why obaseki had upper hand against oshiomhole in 2020.Obaseki simply aligned himself with powerful presidency cabal who saw fighting oshiomhole as a fight against Tinubu.When i hear people make reference with obaseki i simply laugh,the man had the backing of presidency that was why he triumphed against Oshiomhole.

We have had this issue of fight between Godfathers and godsons governor using the house assembly as a battle field since 1999
and the governors have never prevailed without having upper hand in the presidency.
If fubara want to turn this fight to be between APC and PDP i pity him,because he won't prevail.What is going on in kano,and the elections in Kogi and IMO should be a pointer to what is going to happen.Tinubu is the most connected and political president in the history of the country. No governor will ever prevail against him.

Story. No one can deny what 'having a structure' means in our political lexicon. Eyes were cleared this year. The electorates can go so far in the polling units, the structure takes over at night (e.g. Wike). With a Corrupt INEC and a sinking judiciary, anyone who thinks the masses alone can wrestle power from the forces that be in 2027, is still in denial. In fact, without an independent candidature in our electoral system, anyone that's not sponsored by 'big' parties, is walking aimlessly. Personally, I would be shocked if PO contests in 2027. The change we need can't come through the ballot.

No one is even dragging Lagos with them, but the way they latch onto news online to attempt to rewrite history is a new low no one has attempted to correct about this generation of yoruba people. They call it liberalism as if the great Awolowo wasn't liberal enough. Strangers at that, and sometimes kids would be questioning people who are the custodians of the heritage they're laying claim to. Unbeknownst to them, they're paving way for the total capture of Lagos by actors that have sent them after imaginary enemies. Since Bini, didn't found it, Tinubu must own it. Very soon, they'll wipe the place of indigenous lagosians from their history.
