maestroferddi:I was actually amazed at his tongue-twisting. The number of conflicting pieces he has written on this issue betrays is avowed neutrality. Dude even left a publicly available CSU deposition to cite BBC 'false fact checks'. Everyone has a price, the noblest amongst us now are the ordinary people who want nothing but a Nigeria that works for all. PS The BBC article, Onanug's appointment, the Atiku (and PO) certificate hysteria, and now Kperogi's somersaults, were BAT's comeback, howbeit a weak one. Truth needs to defense. |
The sweet but biter truth about their ordeal is that, it is their children they are laying the foundation of the new Nigeria for. Foundation of illegality, thuggery and forgery. They think it ends with them. The value systems of the next generation will shock the present generation, and it will be worse in the SW. Some of the things we used to identify Northerners with, are now fully enthroned in the SW because of one man's ambition. Time will tell. |
Bobloco:Those that support evil because their kinsman is in power should celebrate this gradual destruction of vital institutions. When the institutions are all dead or captured then Nigeria will be great, and they'll bequeath a working country for their kids. |
Mossadd:As in ehn! Are people truly educated in this country or their personal greed has affected their intellect? Deposition is the presentation of evidence before trial. The lines of questions the lawyers are even allowed to ask would show you they know exactly what they're looking for. The transcript clearly shows they got CSU where they wanted them. So, they should have asked CSU to state that Tinubu FORGED certificate? The Omockery of a Rhino, is even looking for the specific word like finding Reverend father in the bible to make them Christians. He's really making a sophisticated tribe look foolish. |
NapoleonHill:Common sense is truly far from you people. How you correlate graduating from a school with forging their certificate beats my imagination. So, because Ademola graduated from OAU, he can forge a certificate? The school attested to his studentship but stated they didn't issue the certificate Tinubu submitted to INEC. Una mumu sha. |
Something has come to light in all of this, Nigeria is a very sick place to live in. People will copy and paste narratives without reading to see where it indicts them and run contrary to what they're trying to push. They keep trying to tell us Tinubu is a male and attended CSU, when in fact, those facts have never been in contention, not with Gani or Keyamo or even Atiku. It's all been about his academic credentials (school history and certificates). Sadly, the morons up there didn't see where CSU disowned the certificate Tinubu submitted to INEC which louds what has been obvious to all: FORGERY. We can argue the meaning of 'AND', in our constitution, but the world now have evidence of Tinubu's forged certificate archived in the Internet, and has also been backed up by CSU's deposition. While you keep celebrating he attended CSU and had 1st class in accounting, remember that the world now sees the average Nigerian as a criminal. Our laws may do nothing to him, but what better way to demystify an acclaimed demigod. What a shame. |
Omobude244:Politics aside, this is an embarrassment. He did not only forge the certificate but indicted personalities whose signatories are on it. Funny thing is, he used a template that the school were yet to adopt (check the 2003 original template, then check the date BAT's supposed replaced- certificate was issued by CSU). Expect litigations home and abroad. Well, his supporters had it coming. BAT chose the most depraved of people to run and ruin his ambition; they are not necessarily uneducated. No, they're ethnic and divisive jingoists. They waged war against everyone else, derided tribes. Well, they won the battle but have lost the war. You can't fight truth, let alone the truth told by millions of people. He made life in secret, but chose to fall in public. |
All those pushing the narrative that 'CSU verified' still don't get the gist. It's like saying INEC confirmed someone won an election. Wait till the deposition is done, then you'll see CSU's complicity. The good news is that they have released the ORIGINAL documents, now they have a lot of explaining to do, but by taking an oath. They think US is like Nigeria. |
Lol. The more they try to insult people's sensibility, the louder the issue becomes. We can lie to ourselves, but not the global world who obviously see us for what we are. In Nigeria, we debate the meaning of 'AND'. The good news is that the documents are in the public space, and people of good conscience worldwide can see our president FORGED his certificate. Every sane mind knows they used the wrong templates (designs for different years) for the different sets of certificates he has paraded and sworn to on oath. This should be a moment of sober reflection for us as a people. How would it affect us? Where do we go from here? However you spin it, Nigeria is a global show of shame. Our institutions are so dead that we have to make recourse to foreign institutions. What a shame! |
pandoragirigory:You people should be ashamed of yourselves. What many of you thinks is political patronage is rubbing off on your character if you once had any. It wouldn't be long and your life will reflect your amorality. That we have a president who forged his certificate using the template of a later year instead of the year he graduated is a global shame. It reflects badly on the average Nigerian people and the Nigerian state. We could dial this thing down, but no; that would be against the basic instinct of Agbadorians. The world will soon be awake to this show of shame. Embassies now will begin to query basic documents. If a people unite against evil, their prospects aer usually bright, but not Nigeria. We wouldn't see how this shame would affect us all. Shameless people. |
This young generation is a disgrace to mankind. In saner climes people will clamour for a better society regardless of whose ox is gored. We have a disgrace of a president who clearly forged his university certificate, yet his kins are trying to spin the narrative. The proponents of good are also trying to prove the alternative, thus amplifying the show of shame to the global world. When your visas are refused in the coming months many will begin to understand the gravity of these issues. He attended CSU but forged his certificate (using the template for a later year instead of the year he graduated). I don't care about the discrepancies in his age and other qualifying documents, most Nigerians are notorious for that. However, it is on record that the president of the most populous black nation on earth is a FORGER. |
EdoGovernor2024:Yes, I used to know he was a staunch PDP member. Well, I hope he gets the ticket, and that Oshiomole backtracks from the 'AGBA' project he has been working on since 2020. |
EdoGovernor2024:As a Bini man, I have always advocated for the balance of power. I hope it goes to Edo Central, and I have heard about the man but something ilks me about the party he belongs. Can anything good come out of APC? Time will tell. |
zangaozanga:Growth has no colourations. Nations on the same pedestal with Nigeria in 1960 have long left us behind. Those that were far behind us in the 2nd Republic have caught up with and are overtaking us. My worry is that we might pass down a worse nation to our kids than our parents left us. Guess what the problem is: NIGERIANS (especially the citizens). |
SuperOnyi:Lol. No sir. What we have today can be likened to the watered-down version of a written language. SMH! The language of old literally sounded like coded messages. The inscriptions were unique, I saw an old writing somewhere in the Palace some years back. There was something mystical about it . They have rewritten our history, and the whole of the black race see themselves as inferior people. |
SuperOnyi:There were very few intellectuals then, many of the Binis didn't take any pride in learning about the ways of the 'whites' nor writing about them. Apart from the ease of doing business with them, the Binis general abhored anything that could ruboff on their identity. However, details of their early dealings were instead documented in Edo language (we had special unit for that at the time). The archives were destroyed or stolen by the British. |
Rossikk:Also, it was Oba Esigie that had sophistication in Portuguese. |
MorataFC:OP God bless you. I am from a very privileged family in Benin, and can tell you it hurts reminiscing about the greatness of the ancient Benin kingdom. I told some here who was arguing about the relevance of tribes who were not invited to sign the treaty for Nigeria's amalgamation that the British designed Nigeria to fail from day one. At Independence, there was no reason the Binis shouldn't have taken a pole position at the negotiation table because we had exceptional self-governing capabilities that dated back to centuries. It was actually a punitive measure against the people they perceived as rebellious, unagreable and who won't further their interests as we still have them today. Guess what, the invasion of Benin was the preclude. They broke their will, and dysmisified them, and centuries after they've been conditioned to act and think like the rest of the country rather than the superior tribe they once were. |
Newton2024:Simple, lack of good value system by majority of the followers. No one demands probity or accountability. If he's a thief, let him favour me or at least be from tribe. Case closed. |
naija4life247:Of course, the sophisticated lawlessness and political debauchery can only be celebrated by fools in a failed society. Show me any civilized society where this level of pettiness holds sway. Senior Advocate of Nonsense. Nigerians and servitude. SMH |
ryloy:Lol. Cash-and-carry justice. Nobody should wail, just prepare for the new Nigeria where illegality will be our modus operandi. Sane minds don already wash hand for Nigeria mata kpatakpata. It is a hopeless contraption. |
nairalandkachy1:First casualty if true. More to follow. The anarchy that would characterize future elections would be better imagined once the Supreme court validates the nonsense judgment. We're not expecting them to be upright, we just want to be sure Nigeria's fate has been decided, so that everyone will make plans for what's to come. |
emapeteum:Not quite sir, if you believe that, then you still do not understand the conspiracy behind this contraption. Could you also say that about the Binis? Why do you think they were invaded and then isolated at Independence? Would you also say they were uncivilised or incapable of self-governance? I guess not. The British were looking for subservience, and there are tribes that would never have been amenable. |
Benwallt:Nigerians and sensationalism. He helped solidify your naivety. He couldn't provide evidence of misappropriation of funds or corruption. He only deceived you because he wanted to be politically correct. It's like saying Oshiomole hated Ize-Iyamu in 2016. How's Soludo fairing now as Governor? Tomorrow, it's folks like you that will vote a sentimental man like that as president. We're talking about Nigeria's most successful era here. Perhaps Obi, and even BAT would be given credit for contributing their quotas as Governors. Since then Nigeria has become a shithole because of tribalism and bigotry. |
Zetra7:It is even too low for a touted master strategist. Like you pointed out, OBJ had a United South, GEJ may have been misguided to favour the north, but he had true allies in SE & NC. PMB had SW and the entire north. The greatest undoing for this administration will be the disunited south, because when the north rallies against him (like they did GEJ before 2011), he will have no base outside SW. His minions are not even helping matters, the SW used to be more refined than we have seen this year. Definitely, a lot will change going forward. It is really an emilokan presidency. Time will tell how far it gets him. |
Signs everywhere that this country will soon end. Foolish people. You won election but couldn't government a nation. Give me one reason why these idiots are opening old wounds. Children of hate and bigotry. Nigeria surviving under Tinubu would be the 8th wonders of the world. |
casualobserver:You just insulted yourself and condemned your innocent kids in thinking you actually "KNOW'. Only a fool holds on to error even in face of truth. With all your "KNOWING", you didn't realize PO didn't graduate with a 3rd class. Shame on you. Go educate yourself before you quote me. |
Lol. Another textbook economist. Nepotism is the bane of this country. Ever since GEJ left office, the nation has been on a downward trend because of tribalism. Don't argue with me, wait till $1 exchanges for #1500 under his watch. |
IconicR:Actually, he's right. He never speaks "truth and facts" about issues of importance to the average Nigerians. A man whose stock in trade is to spew ethnic slurs at a section of society is not living the "truth" about his essence nor the "facts" about his own existence. |
franchasofficia:Gbam. The simple-minded tools are not seeing the fire that has been lit. The cluelessness in governance and the consequences will continue and no one can do anything about it. We're only waiting for the SC to slay the chicken that lays the eggs for tomorrow. |
Nigerians! SMH Anytime the West feels threatened, they start sending their puppets to strengthen imaginary ties. It happened immediately after we announced a currency-swap deal with China. Now, the latest threat to their selfish interests in Africa is BRICS. They want to keep this nation as perpetual slaves, if it's not IMF doing their bidding, it will be someone else. SA and other countries are fast realising their true potentials through mutual respect, but here we are celebrating the visit of a public servant. |
EleventhWeirdo:Yea, they do it to gain opportunity to compete. Indigenous Northerners don't participate in pageantry. Down south, selection is very competitive, so many migrate to North for audition. Check the records, it same story every year. |
