Are you still following your archaic tradition of realising results by Fridays when it is obvious that ptdf is already behind time and are putting us on high jump already. Release that result today if you are to be taken seriously.

Thank you for at least saying something now and obviously you reacted because of the threat! so if not because of the threat, you wouldnt have answered. It is very pathetic and so obvious how ''YOU'' are playing with the emotions of potential scholars just because you are in the position of authority, momentarily. Before I ventilate my opinion, let me congratulate you on opening a Nairaland account to listen to the actual owners of the money (the public).

You have refused to reply emails sent to you and you have refused to answer questions posed herein for you. I have monitored with kin interest your activities herein and how you selectively answered questions that will slaughter your continued stay in the business of PTDF. You and PTDF are trustee of public fund and you MUST communicate the public often and update them with the latest news with respect to their fund, yet you failed. Your silence has subjected some noble scholars here into emotional trauma and academic inept vis a vis your spontaneous incommunicado. I have spent pretty time in UK, USA, CANADA and many advanced country and we all (including you) know how effective they are in communication and otherwise for public peace. In Nigeria, the custody of public is in your trust (PTDF inclusive) and you kept the owners of the fund in secret and subjected them into series of assumptions both positive and negative because you (PTDF inclusive) have refused to talk to the owners of the fund, (the public). Some people here said that they sent you email but you refused to acknowledge nor reply them as if they are all fools. I am fully aware that you are part and parcel of PTDF and contrary you MIGHT not have say in the activities of PTDF but you can on advisory ground inform them of the anger, rage and frustration they subjected the owners of the fund into. Honestly I wont tell you and PTDF the next line of action of a hungry and angry MAN until you let it loose.

Having said the opinion of some noble scholars and the some public herein, let me in a more subtle way advice you to always apply customer care methodology by attempting questions posed here for you and by so doing will bring forth a lasting peace and tranquillity needed to pilot the affairs of the noble scholars. incompetence is understatement. How do ptdf delibrately allow the successful scholars to resume late due to their own inefficiency and still expect scholars to perform very well in their studies as ambassadors of the country.�� really unfortunate.

A friend told me that the delay is no longer from ptdf. The ministry of finance is yet to release money from the budget of 2017 to ptdf. That as soon as the funds are released, names will be published immediately. Hmm, Naija we hail thee.

And Dont think our politicians wards are dullards, the are actually very bright and top notched, given the high levels of education and exposure.
Probabily even on merit , the would still outshine most persons.

But still no juicy govt job has ever been on merit in this country, even in the 80's or 70's, thats y the juicest jobs have always been reserved.
Na to pack teaching jobs and regular civil service jobs dash the masses...

The earlier you all zero your mind and depend on God only for this dpr job the better for you all. I am talking from experience. This very recruitment will be about 70% merit the job is a techinical job and require good candidates that can fit in properly for the job. By the time your are invited for interview, you will see your scores in your files and while you are among those invited for interview. The interview stage will be harder than what you meet in the exam and tailored towards your course of study and a few current affairs and your final yr project and past work experience. At the end of the exercise by next yr most of you doubting the whole process will surely testify. Do your best and lets leave the rest for God to handle.

One thing that is obvious is that the this DPR aptitude test has been abysmally organized. I for one wrote on monday in Lagos and the questions were just mixed up and not separated into sections - my first question was sequence and the second question was verbal.

Besides, the only two buttons on my test pages were "Next" and "Submit".

Some of the maths questions were incomplete.

After my time elapsed, a box prompted up telling me my time is up and I should Submit by clicking the "Submit" tab in the box.

DPR needs to audit the test questions used as getting incomplete questions isn't fair to all. The test should rather be labelled "Test of Luck".

If you claim that you had a lot of incomplete questions in the exam then that is good for you as every incomplete question attracts a bonus mark. Don't worry put everything in the hands of God and you will see miracle happening at the end of the day.

If u are being called it simply means they want more clarification and your score boundary warrant scholarship so u do not miss out hence d following reasons:

a. You scored high and being considered as a scholar and want to clarify the documents u submitted which are obscure

or

b. They want to ask if u might want PTDF overseas partnered institution such as in Brasil etc

or

c. Seek your opinion if you will accept local schools especially if u chose foreign schools in your application.

If u didn't receive any call don't panic but two things are involved :

a. You are among those who scored tremendously well in your state with no trace of of inconspicuousness and therefore will b given their choice.

b. You scored very low hence wont b considered for scholarship.

Your explanation is ok. But asking an applicant on phone which School or country he or she would like to go to does not add up at all. Moreover the clarifications by flexi does not make sense since it is ptdf that does the actual shortlisting so something is wrong somehow and does not add up.

But you don't need scholarship to apply for ATAS. Why not go ahead to fill out the application in hope of ptdf scholarship? Or has things changed?

My brother what do you think will happen to your application if after submitting your two referees and PTDF as your source of funding and they contact ptdf and the said they have not released any award for 2017/2018. Or do you think they just process your ATAS application without contacting your referees and your source of funding?

Please is there any updated information from ptdf on the results of MSc exams? Is the list coming out same time with phd list?
some us who would be fortunate to get the scholarship will need to apply for Academic Training Approval Scheme (ATAS) certificate, which takes about 20 days to process. Afterwards, we would need to apply for Confirmation of Acceptance (CAS), which may take two weeks. It's after these that we can think of processing Visa. However, some of us have start dates in first Week of September.
Please do as much as you can to help. We appreciate your support.

my brother you are absolutely correct and have spoken the mind of many in this forum. Given that ptdf did not start this year's process on time, effort should be geared towards releasing the results before July ending because ATAS takes 20 to 30 working days from the mails send to us by us schools with the warning that the number of days increases from April to September due to traffic and no jumping of protocols. please flexisafsupport, help us convey our challenges to ptdf management. Unless they have a method of by-passing these process and secure visas for the successful ones.

I'm disappointed when one of my friends told me she had just got her Appointment Letter with Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR). I almost not agreed with her until she sent me the picture of the Letter.

I'm willing to share the printed Appointment Letter here, only that would become an insult to our teeming Son(s) of nobody who had recently received an Aptitude test invitation from DPR.

As long as I can remember, that was the same thing that had happened with the recent concluded FIRS recruitment. Son(s) and Daughter(s) from poor origins had been busy applying for the job online while their Son(s) and Daughter(s) had been given the printed Appointment Letter already.

You see, this is the situation in my beloved Country Nigeria. Corruption and Nepotism has embedded, transversed the length and breadth of our Dear Nation. It has engulfed it totally to make us all the victims. Well! I do not blame the Country's Pacesetters only.

I would rather blame the populace who voted and allowed these corrupt, unjust individuals to rule, developed and permitted a System like this to exist. An unjust, non Meritocracy System.

As a child of Nobody in this Country you can only dream to have NPower jobs when their Son(s) and Daughter(s) can get job offers from fine and lucrative Government Agencies like DPR while from the comfort of their bed.

. Malware please do not poison the heart of applicants here for nothing. Nobody I repeat nobody whatsoever has been employed by dpr. Dpr is not firs. that was how some people rumoured that dpr has recruited before invitation started rolling. If you already know that you are not going to pass leave the serious ones to concentrate.

The OND has already received their invitation. The test for them will be by zone. The test will hold on the 18th of this month. Meanwhile the dpr recruitment invitation for graduates will come up before month end. The exam will be CBT like ptdf. It will take place in 4 zones across the country.

My brother go and read. Cos the dpr recruitment will be by exam first followed by an interview.

For those who applied for DPR Recruitment 2016, expect your invitation soon before the end of July, starting with the OND first before the graduate trainee/experience higher.

Well PH where I wrote people did not have that time to start communicating after the exam. It was like finish and go home. Moreover many candidates frown their faces as they come out mostly complaining about the Eng. questions. Calculators and phones were not allowed anywhere near the exam hall. I think it will be difficult for any one to share any meaningful hints that could assist anybody that was yet to write the Eng exam in particular. It would have been better that multiple questions were set for each batch than trying to prevent malpractice and set archaic Eng. questions for people to answer. Well, lets hope for the best by the grace of God.
