Your Lo is already playing tricks, I will insist on checking mine by my next Antenatal , I don't want any suprise baby....I am already seeing pink in my dream and reality too

Local anaesthesia is only given when it is time to suture the tear.The tear(whether spontaneous or given by the doctor/midwife) usually occurs at the peak/climax of pushing/labor pain,so it is not usually felt

During VD when the doc/nurse tear down there will they first inject anaesthesia or they just tear?

Q1 Can I opt for Elective CS for personal reasons ....the first delivery was ES

Q2 what causes protein in urine and how can I make it disappear , kindly note it's just +1 but I am working towards a very healthy pregnancy

Q3 is it normal to have a BP of 90/60 during pregnancy ? I wonder why it's that low

I delivered a bouncing baby boy yesterday through Emergency CS(weight 4.5kg)...We give glory to God for the journey cos it has ended in praise.Baby ,mummy,daddy and big brother are doing fine.

Girls kick too no get part 2 o, In fact I am experiencing more kicks with this pregnancy than when I was carrying a boy.

sometimes, I have to be begging her to pls rest for a while cos the kicking is so strong and sometimes painful. At time, she will hang somewhere and be pushing bombom.

God didn't make mistake by creating me as a woman. Its the best gender ever.

Glad to be here. Been reading up for few weeks now and it has been enlightening for me as a FTM.
I'm exactly 19 weeks today. Had a crazy first trimester with the usual headaches, loss of appetite, food aversions and vomiting every morning after brushing or after breakfast.
Second trimester has been calm with few bouts of vomiting but my appetite has greatly improved. Thank God. Loving the new sexy full breasts anyway and my bump is just slightly showing now.
I have an EDD of 29th November and will be going for a morphology scan this Saturday. Sex will also be checked. Hubby is really hoping for a boy o...I am indifferent but will like to make him happier anyways.
I hope to be here more frequently now and also contribute once in a while.

Abeg, i'm also new in Australia...looking for Nigerian friends here in Melbourne jare....

I strived but submit to God's will, for He knows all. When it was just few weeks left to August 25th. I fell to labour and before I could say Jack, the water gushed out on first Sunday. I was rushed to nearby hospital where I gave birth to my Angel but she only survived few minutes. Everything happened suddenly but thank God I'm alive because the delivery was serious as the baby was brought buttocks first. I lost lot of blood but I survived it all though my baby girl is no more.

I don't know how to handle the loss especially when my b..bs full and no baby to feed. Pray for me pls

We are doing great, finally started my Antenatal and
We clocked 20wks1day today .....so good to know we are halfway across the journey
Hoping to take 2nd TT shot by my next antenatal and also do scan to find out sex..
Baby is so so active making me guess that it's another boy o
Haven't started shopping yet but the other day I caught myself checking out baby clothes I had before .....can't wait jare!

Anyways, congratz to all mamas who recently gave birth wish you all safe recovery.

All those waddling and wobbling mommas una wey done o......the Lord is our strength and he shall see us through till the end.

So when the baby came out he didn't cry immediately, the midwife called Paediatrician to come and beat him to cry.. He did after 1min..I just dey bed dey look, I was too pale to have any feeling..the Paediatrician now started explaining some things like, my baby has to b placed on oxygen to clear his breathing organs that he cudav been distressed when he was coming out and that's y he didn't cry immediately..he took oxygen for 2days and his breathing normalized.. He was then tested for jaundice and it was positive..I was already loosing it..the treatment for that commenced after the oxygen was removed..it was so emotional seeing him under the light every day and night..I was always weeping..me that I havent recovered from the delivery shock.. Especially becos of his weight (4.2)..I had serious tears plus i was cut(ftm)..
After another 2 days, we ran a test and the jaundice had cleared..we were discharged on Sunday and naming was yesterday. Our names are Mofetoluwa Jason Obaloluwa.
To all my remaining teamies and expectant mothers.. I wish u a safe delivery..
