Please i want to know how to determine the inflow and out flow figure of a SOA
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by xzile: 6:59pm On Apr 25, 2018
Please house, am a bit confused. My sponsor printed SOA from Internet banking of which he directed me to his bank to get it stamped. Actually the statement is voluminous so the bank officer just stamped and endorsed the 1st,some middle and last page. On coming home a friend told me that the statement printed on A4 and from Internet doesn't hold water. He also said it supposed to be on that computer paper like that one waec uses to send an entire school results and that it would be stamped page by page. Please how true is this. Please help a brother

Thanks everyone who contributed to my questions. I truly appreciate.
Since the tax clearance is impossible to get now, i think i will make do with SOA, CAC documents, affidavit and the letter of sponsorship and keep my fingers crossed.
I have come to understand that trv is possible even with living expenses in sponsor account. I think his letter is convincing enough.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by xzile: 9:31pm On Apr 23, 2018
He left me with a healthy bank SOA, , company registration documents and a convincing sponsorship letter. The thing is that he evades tax payments and the 10k CAD is still in his account.
Austinpee4:

What is your mind telling you? An imminent problem?

I guess yes and actually, if you do not meet the requirement of having AVAILABLE your living expense in the tune of 10,000CAD in addition to your tuition, it is a direct path to a refusal for insufficient funds for upkeep. Also, it is important you add evidence and proof of your sponsor's business, income and obligation of such business. It is to show officers that it is genuine and in operation.

Do not be in a hurry to submit your application without showing in evidence convincing documents to increase your chances of an approval especially funds, this is important.

Regards.

The admission letter they sent to you Stated conditions which you need to meet. That's to say you have not gotten full admission because there are certain things schools consider in one's transcript before the offer admission(not every person who submitted transcript must get admission) . My advice is you fulfill the conditions before you apply for trv.
Cuz even the VO may want to think what will happen if they approve your trv and you eventually refused admission. Also i think(not too sure) that I've read in cic guidelines that applicants should fulfill all conditions required for admission before applying for study permit. Somebody should quote me wrong if i am

@ all, please assist. I have a conditional acceptance offer, and reading what @jnyuwa02 said yesterday, can I begin to apply for visa while working towards fulfilling the given terms ( official transcript and payment of 1st semeter fees). I was supposed to resume in May but deferred till september becos I need to send my original transcript to TRU and as we all know, NASU strike is still on going, no one can determine when it will be called off.. and time is fast approaching for fall visa application overload at the VOs desks..lol..

Please advise if I should start preparations to submit or still wait for the strike to be called off? If yes, can I go ahead and pay the semester fees or just show the VOs the funds available and when the visa is granted (by God's grace and favour oh), then pay the school fees?

Your chances of getting an approval is slim because (1) there is no correlation between Zoology and Automotive Service Technology and (2) you don't have any work experience in Automotive Service Technology.
Thank you both for your sincere advice. I was not opportuned to work in Automotive industry but i did apprenticeship for 2yrs in 2008 to 2010 in Automotive Service and repair and was given a certificate though it was non formal. Throughout last year i was helping my brother out in automobile parts trade. Please will that make any difference? As for the funds, will my sponsor have to deposit money in my account or just prove it with his account? Bear in mind that am unemployed, thus i think questions will be raised how i made such money.

Good day everyone. Please am new to this forum and am so glad i came across. Am about paying for my application fees in a Canadian college for a 1yr certificate program in automotive service technology (what we call motor mechanic here). I studied zoology in Nigeria here and finished with 2.2 in 2014. Finished NYSC in 2016(November). My sponsor is my cousin( mothers sis) who lives in Canada with his family. He is a motor vehicle and parts importer.
After going through series of write ups here i decided to seek help so as not to get things wrong from start. My SOA balance is poor as i am unemployed and only helped my brother in his motor parts business last year after nysc. I want to know my chances of approval with my change in career part. Should i state that i would be living with my cousin in Canada cuz i don't intend paying for accommodation. Please can someone give me tips on how to package this embassy people because i don't want disappointments.
Please somebody should advice me pls. I just want to be careful from onset because i have no prior experience on study permit application

I hope i can convince VO that the program is worth spending much money for international education and the prospects it has in Nigeria. Truth is i intend coming back to Nigeria after 1yr.do anyone think i should change program or is a 1yr program to short to be given a trv? Pls you people should help a brother before i commit a blunder.

kai oga i swear u don fall my hand
we all know dia was nothing like stream 1 and 2 before, in d past, all pcm dat falls to a particular batch are all mobilized once, so dat also makes dem pass out from service dsame time

not until recently when pcm are becoming much, d scheme introduced streams

so if we agree to dat, without anybody telling you, be it rumour or otherwise, we should all know dia is no possible way stream 1 and 2 wuld pass out from service dsame time, when dey neva commence service together

i.e,logically stream 1 shuld pass out before stream 2

and anoda tin, how is it even possible for u to tink dat pcm who already had a call up number with 2016B tag wuld now be mobilize as 2017A, dat really baffles me

hmmmm, oga i totally dispute ur claims
Oga am telling you my experience. Let me clarify A15 where splited into stteam 1&2. Both streams did their orientation differently. Stream 1around February and 2 around March . S1 (stream 1) received alawee in camp that February, left camp and S2 entered camp march and received March alawee. Both streams passed same time 14th April 2016. As they passed out S2 recived their outstanding alawee while at home to complete the 12 calendar month alawee. That has being the norm.
This is what we thought was the logic, while S1 legt camp they went home and resumed work same time with S2. Get the logic while S1 was in camp, S2 was home for 1month then while S2 was in camp S1 where at home. They both resumed duty 1week after S2 left camp. So the ought to pass out same day. But it changed in my time thereby made us spend 1 extra month in our ppa than S1 did.
As for the question about your callup letter bearing 16B it can still be another surprise from nysc if they choose to merge you. Just as they keep surprising us. But i pray you get moblised soonest.

Kay005:
Oga if u like u can rep sambisa B20 stream10 nah u sabi....A16 stream2 went to camp around june during ramadan period and for A17 to be mobilized, A16 stream2 must av passed out and that maybe around MAY for A17 to be mobilized and deployed and not MARCH as you claimed . So definitely B16 stream2 is not going be joined to with ur so called A17. Inaddition, NYSC said no fund to mobilize B16 stream2 then, since fund has nw been approved, is it nw the same NYSC that cant cateer for just ordinary B16 stream2 that will merge B16 stream2 with A17.....Note : Am not in hurry to go camp or service, I just want to put this service stuff behind me.
Oga am not wishing that you don't do your service as at when due. My prayer is that you be called up tomorrow. I just gave you my analysis which might be right or wrong. I am not part of government nor nysc. If you want to blame somebody turn to ur government. I read u say funds approved, u sound like u are a foreign graduate. Approval is different from disbursement. You are lecturing me on the fact that A16 2 must pass out b4 A17 is mobilsed. Let ask you, in history of nysc has passing out ever been splited according to streams? Have nysc ever delayed mobilisation of same batch months apart? Has nysc ever reduced the number of graduates to be mobilised. Answer is bros all these things starts recently. From my view point nysc is coming to an end.

joshuakdboy. Head coints are impromptu. If its state or local u get 2days nofication. If its fedral u will be notified that day. Federal head count dont happen often, you might not experience it in ur yr. If u like traveling arrange with your LI. Dats the surest cover up but it will cost you. Other ways are, keep ur kaki at ur ppa so that if impromptu headcount comes up u just call an area boy to put it on and impersonate you. But depends on how sharp or dull ur LI is. U can still keep in touch with ur colleagues to get informed of headcount and be ready to run back to ur ppa any time they call u.
NYSC / Re: NYSC 2016 Batch B Corps Members House by xzile: 9:52am On Jan 15, 2017
Hello pcms, my advice is you should not totally disregard any rumours u hear about your mobilisation just like the one that said you will be mobilised in March in place of 17a. Throughout my service year every events always starts like a rumor ( e.g head count, pop). So make plans towards every rumours you hear cuz they most probably come true. During my service year just about 2weeks to passing out rumours started flying that stream 1 will be the only ones to pass out that stream 2 would have to wait. Nysc officials told us its not true initially, they posted a disclaimer to that effect. We disregarded it cuz it has never happened in history of nysc. Lo and behold it came to pass that stream 2 passed out exactly 1month after stream 1 did. So my advice is u engage urself in whatever till your call up to avoid rise and fall of hopes.
Come to think of it they blamed the discrepancies on low funding and Nigeria is not getting better. So do you think they will mobilise B16 II January and still mobilise A17 1&2 March and A17b 1&2 october. Bearing in mind that there are spill overs of 2016 that were due to be mobilised but we not due to funding. And as i write thousands will still graduate before February in campuses. So i think they will want to merge you guys with more ppl to make up for A17 and save cost.
I rep cross river B15 stream2.

Buisness opportunity in ogbono business. Fellow nairalanders are you searching for that business which can give you a month watering or juicy profit? Search no more ogbono is the bomb. It is a seasonal cash crop which can give you more than 100%of you capital when stored and sold during off season usually 4months after the season. But if you which to sell as you buy u are still sure of at least 40% profit depending on your location. They say business is all about profit and loss but i beat my chest to tell you that there is never a loss in this biz. I have being in it for 3 yrs, so am speaking from experience.
I am a merchant and supply ogbono in large quantities from the cheapest source in Nigeria and Cameroon though i base in abakaliki and cross river states. I can supply to any where in Nigeria.
