Based on ratings, Olamide is not among the top-three Nigerian musicians. But he has more evergreen songs than those top-three musicians.

His evergreen songs include but are not limited to:

Wo
Melo Melo

By evergreen songs, I mean songs that will feel new and be repeatedly played even in the next 20 years. None of the top-three artistes has up to 4 evergreen songs.

Most times when he is featured in a song, he delivers better verses than the artist who owns the song. This particular quality is very uncommon in the Nigerian entertainment industry. There are other artistes, who when featured in some songs, occasionally deliver better verses than the owners of the songs, but Olamide is more consistent with that habit. Davido's best performance in a featured song is in Woju by Kiss Daniel. WizKid's best performance in a featured song is in Bend Down Pause by Runtown. But Olamide is outstanding in almost all his featured songs.

Yeah. Somehow, Ceec would have won. There was a kind of desperation to give her the win, but she's just too bitter. She doesn't even know that times have changed since Double Wahala and BBN got new fans now. She thought she was still the most popular. In fact, Ceec felt she had it in the bag. I remember her laughing when Ilebaye told her that she (Ilebaye) would win the show. It didn't even end there. She kept dragging every issue even after it was clear to everyone in the house that Ilebaye had become strong with a narrative. Ceec kept insisting that Mercy was her only competition.

I know Mercy didn't do much this season, but she was smarter than Ceec. Despite knowing she can't win twice, Mercy kept watching Ilebaye carefully.

The production didn't even help matters. I think they themselves wanted an unexpected winner to emerge because they fueled Ilebaye's narrative

As far as I am concerned, the easiest way out for FG is to declare a state of emergency on fuel subsidy fraud and then go ahead to pay subsidy on petroleum until they find an acceptable strategy of cushioning the effect of subsidy removal. Period. If FG blocks all avenue of fuel being smuggled to neighboring countries and all other manner of petroleum subsidy fraud, the subsidy amount will reduce drastically. Then FG can now work out the modalities of the subsidy removal within 1 year before removing it. The suffering is too much.

You’re very vast and smart. The only palliative that can cut across the grassroots right now is the subsidy removal under strict monitoring. FG knows how the subsidy fraud works, you have armed forces across borders and aware of individuals that corruptly amass wealth through the fraud. Track them down and develop a futuristic way on how to cushion the effect of its removal before taking that action. All this yeye palliatives and paltry 25k to lower cadre workers is just an absurd thinking and reasoning. Very dumb move.

CeeC and Mercy would wish Ike never came for this all star. His rascality cost one of them this win.

This current season hadn’t started and CeeC has been trending on X back to back. People were really rooting for her both Spartans and neutral fans of the show. However, she fell out during the show. She played the game poorly. One man mopol thing didn’t win for her in DW and she should have learnt from that. She mended fences with Alex and still ruined it, threw Doyin under the bus, constantly picking on Baye and addressing HMs condescendingly are few of her undoings. To make worse, Ike,Pere and Seyi connivance against Baye didn’t help her game as arrisers for Baye became much after that. She will be fine.
