Strongwind1960: I’m really sorry about the situation and pray to God that your reapplication will be a different story. I’ll really appreciate if you guys in this group can please drop your timelines and documents submitted so that people who want to apply soon learn a thing or two from them and know what is to come. This will really help a lot of us. Once again, I’m sorry for the situation, and with God by your side, your reapplication shall be a success. Amen. 1 Like |

Wadogho: Do it yourself. I got my admission by myself to MUN. Its really easy. Just scan your WAEC result and send to this email: admiss.docs@mun.ca (that’s ofcourse, if your result meets the admission requirements) Also, if you’re just coming from secondary school, yes you’ll need your secondary school transcripts. Scan and send to the email also. Note that all these will be considered as unofficial copies and the official copies will be needed before an unconditional admission can be issued to you. All the very best. |

Rollyxxmv:Hi Please in this your second application, did you adequately tackle how the program you’re going for will help you get a job in your home country? Did your LOE clearly state in details why you were going for that program and what will make you come back when you’re done studying? |

NwanyiOkpa: January. I paid using a platform called Western Union Business Solutions. You’ll go the MUN website and go to mode of payments. There, you’ll see different modes of payment and Western Union Business Solutions is part of them. Click on it and follow the instructions. It’ll redirect you to a page where you’ll be shown a slip confirming how much you’re paying and other information. Generate that slip, print it out and take it to the bank (for me, I used FirstBank). Bear in mind that I also used a dollar account to pay. All the best 2 Likes |

Hi guys Just wanted to share that not all banks in Nigeria currently make use of the myBankStatement method of showing POF, which is sad. So if your bank doesn’t, then you’ll still have to use the traditional SOA paper process. Attached are the banks that currently have the myBankStatement option: 1 Like

Kaycevit: Wow. This is good. No need to panic. The MyBankStatement platform is a new method introduced by the Canadian embassy to accurately detect amount of funds present in a person’s account at a faster rate. So this only means your wife’s application will get processed quicker than normal (God willing). But in all, it is a good thing. 1 Like

Good morning guys. Just wanted to share this here. International students who got their study permit approvals on or before 18th of March, 2020 are now exempted from the travel restrictions and can travel to Canada to begin their academic semester. As seen on the IRCC website. 2 Likes 1 Share

Hey guys So I got rejected and just picked up my passport today. I got to know I was refused through my account online. But I’ve not still gotten the reason why I was rejected. There’s no message on my account online and no email has been sent regarding my rejection. I was hoping the refusal reasons were going to come with my passport but to my surprise, it didn’t. I only got a small slip saying “all important information has been sent to your email” but nothing was sent. Please guys help. How can I get to know the reasons why I was refused? |

Please house. I got a refusal on Saturday but didn’t get any refusal email or message stating the reason for the refusal in my account. Please how can I go about getting the refusal message? I applied through paper route and I really need the refusal reasons so I can tackle them when reapplying. |

Fatkideric: BVL after medical request is usually a good sign. Even though you’ve not been able to link your account, any major updates will be sent to you via text or email. So right now just pray and wait. Please is this your first attempt? |
