Good evening house, please I’m asking on behalf of a friend whose application got rejected recently.

I got refused from Canada immigration cos my husband was refused while single and considered inadmissible till 2021. Is there a way i can appeal or apply alone pending the time?

Her husband had applied sometime in 2016 via the paper based route, they requested for his work history record which he sent via NIPOST but it didn’t get to them. While applying for this as a couple, they didn’t include the rejection in their application.

Is there anything that could be done to salvage this?

Oga, there is no such policy. I got a PTA for me and my wife on a one way ticket. No hassles at all.

The problem is, some bank officials don't know the policy. So long as you have an immigrant visa or work permit, you are also entitled to get a PTA.

It is CBN policy not to sell PTA to customers without a return ticket.

My question now is, with the receipt expired now, will I still be granted interview?

Also, what is the probability of them granting one a visa with a Canadian Immigrant Visa?

Hi guys, got my COPR on Tuesday.

By the time I got my PPR, my passport's validity was less than 6 months. I had to quickly renew it then go submit it. I didn't bother raising any CSE, I just went to VFS with the new and old passport, I also didn't write any LOE at the point of submitting the passport.

I also didn't get any notification that my passport was ready for pick up, I had to call them to confirm if it was ready, they had returned the passport back to Lagos 2 days earlier. If your CIC profile has been updated and you don't get a pick up notification, you should call VFS to confirm.

I think that's basically all.

Thanks. The clinic would do the upload, you do not need to go back there, well, except if you paid an extra fee to get a copy of the result.

Upfront Medicals- August 8, 2018(Qlife)
AOR- August 9, 2018.
Medical Passed/BIL- September 13, 2018
Ghost Update- January 18, 2019
PPR- January 18, 2019, came in 1:35am today.

Proof of funds was just a Treasury Bill which I did for 45 days a day before submitting the application. I didn't submit any 6 months statement, just the certificate.

Although, I submitted the statement of account of my salary account since inception under proof of employment.

Ordered GCMS notes twice, the second one is yet to arrive.

As at 2 weeks back, only criminality had been met, eligibility and security not started, called CIC to get the info.

All in all, God be praised!!!

You need to renew your passport asap, then raise a CSE! Some VOs will ask for 1 year validity even though 6 months is what is required.

A quick one, my AOR is August 9, my passport is expiring 22nd June, 2019.
Eligibility- not started
Security- not started
Criminality- Met
VO- Ottawa
Number of days left to hit months- 33 days.

Is it advisable I renew my passport now and raise a CSE uploading the new one or I hold on hoping I get PPR within the 6 months frame?

If I'm to renew, can anyone help with a faster place I can get the passport done and if possible get it same day or next and the cost? Location is Lagos.

This status bar really makes no sense. I even got one after PPR (my cic is still in IP2) and is says estimated end date July 2018 and ‘your application is taking longer than normal to process’. No sh*t.

This is what the status bar looks like and it really makes no sense as we all know the average timing is 6 months...
