Hmmm, Augustine is a shame to federal republic of Nigeria. |
Everybody has a price just that some are too timid to name theirs. And Frederick Bestiat captured this thought when he said, " everyone wants to live at the expense of others. UNICEF how much are you paid to published this rubbish! May God federal republic of Nigeria. |
James Hardley Chase once wrote a novel titled: "You Are Dead Without Money". Methinks, for power wielders of yesteryears, it is "You Are Lonely Without Power" However, happy birthday to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR. And sober lesson to the power wielders of today! |
In 1992 when Gen Ibrahim Babangida was at the apogee of his powers, he turned 50. One particular National newspaper published 80 pages of congratulatory adverts from people who didn't mean it. I checked in 2002, ten years later when the general, now out of power and more or less Public Enemy Number 1 for annulling June 12 elections, turned 60years. In the same newspaper of ten years earlier, I counted only 5 pages of adverts. Since then it has thinned out to inconsequentialhalf page or quarter page! Such is life. |
Yes getting poorer because people like Aliyu govern them for eight (good years without much improvement in their social well being, When you're not guided by principle but emotions, confusion is inevitable. |
There is a saying that no nation ever survives two civil wars. It is important we take a lesson from the North-East, where a once peaceful region has been turned into rubbles as a result of an unknown and uncouth fathomless religious ideology. Fellow Nigerians, the hardworking Ndigbo who have businesses scattered all over the world with huge investments in Nigeria will certainly not want to trade their businesses and huge investments for instruments of warfare. We have millions of peace-loving Igbo in different parts of the country trading peacefully.” What is saying simply is that each region should focus on her area of economic strength and then synergize to produce a Nigeria where there is freedom for all and life more abundant. That is the Biafra of the Mind that MASSOB, IPOB and the Ohana’eze should address the minds of their members to. |
In the world we live in today: 1. Size is strength! 2. Population is strength! The world is no longer ready to accommodate kue kue kue contries, like Togo, Republic of Benin etc. Even if we are to talk Biafra, can these misguided ones be said to be the authentic leaders to do business with? |

Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Eze Ndigbo Gburugburu, former leader of Biafra and retired Lieutenant-Colonel of the Nigerian Army (IPOB please take note) left this world about 3 years ago with a philosophical angle to the Biafra agitation. He said he no longer believed in the Biafra of bricks and blocks, of ‘ogbunigwes’ or a definite geographical expression but the ‘Biafra of The Mind’. |
President buhari : a despicable person with bestial habits. |
A distinguished heckler..A lousy lying spigot...a brawler and braggart- That is farouk lawan... His attempt to sound sensible almost always falls flat because he is never acquainted with verifiable facts about anything...His half-assed obfuscations and lack of grace to ever admit wrong is legendary such that each time he opens his cavernous mouth, a loud fart always manages to escape from it..Summary: farouk lawan has never ever made sense...Throw him over! |
Everybody has a price just that some are too timid to name theirs. And Frederick Bestiat captured this thought when he said, " everyone wants to live at the expense of others. Enough is enough! Peter obi should allow seating governor of the state to have his way. |
When you're not guided by principle but emotions, confusion is inevitable. however, who is oshun? |
I disagreed with Barack on it then. I disagree with Hillary on it now. I disagree with the democratic base on it. The world is at WAR with ISLAMIC RADICALISM. Describing it otherwise so as not sound 'offensive' to true Islam is only politically expedient. It's insincerity! Yes, the world is NOT at war with Islam but those schizophrenic murderous barbarians on mass killing spree, roasting people alive claim to be defending their Islamic religion. So, what's wrong in saying we're at war with the radical wing of Islam. I have faithful adherents of the great religion in my family, great friends. I love some aspects of the tenets. I don't think Muslim Umahs should be offended that the West, nay the rest of the civilized world, is at war with radical Islam. Let Umahs continue to speak out vociferously against those who are bastardizing their religion. We're all in it! And the war appears 'unwinable'. There are millions of the ideologues of the radicalism spreading hate, fueling and funding their brand of jihadism. It appears it has come to stay with our world. So, let the bombing of their strongholds continue. Let there be ground troop to confront them. Let ISIS be decimated like we did to Al Qaeda. Yes, I get it: another will arise. Our world should prepare to continue the battle. Kudos to the French for the quick retaliation! |
Mere training isn't where you share intimate details, its a ceremonious gathering, strategy sessions are best had one on one. |
Hmmm! Apc scam..
|
You can be fooling them in kastina and daura but not Nigerian anymore not even your propaganda machine can do it! |
When you're not guided by principle but emotions, confusion is inevitable. Enough of this gibberish from slow and President Buhari president! Pls show us what you get for average Nigerian and youth of this nation not to gullible politican! |
chopido:I agree the end figure is huge. But would anyone have complained if the company was making a loss on the deal? Do you guys know how much was spent on BVN registration by a German company that was purchased for just a dollar after going bankrupt? How much did INEC pay Leo Stan for the biometric registration of voters that did not work well at the end of the day. What is your angle that the system is not adding value? Are you aware Interswitch wanted 5% for the same project? Are you aware that some other companies wanted 2.5%? What we should do is be nice about it and tell this company to agree to renegotiate which I am sure they will be will to do. But calling them names like thieves and fraudulent is something i stand strongly against. They have aded value |
Has anyone heard that before REMITA and the new TSA regime, some banks were pocketing as high as 46% of all government revenue that passed through them? Has anyone heard that before now, the lowest commission charged by banks and other collection agents was 2.5%? Has anyone heard that even after charging this high commission, these banks, keep the money and then lend back to government at an interest rate of 15%? http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/193213-full-details-of-tsa-dino-melaye-misled-nigerian-senate-on-n25-billion-claim.html |
