Non of the election in this country was free and fair including that of PDP and APC members. If not some other parties would have won some seats also. If we begin to cancel rigged elections, lets get ready to spend another bullion dollars. |
Elections petition tribunals sitting in Abuja have nullified the election of the Speaker, Owaji Ibani from Andoni constituency and 20 lawmakers in Rivers state house of assembly. The lawmakers were elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party on April 11 2015 in an election marred by vote rigging and violence. The judgements given today by the relevant tribunals in Abuja is bound to compound the case of the governor of the state, Nyesom Wike, who was sacked last week by a tribunal under the same circumstances. There are 32 state lawmakers in Rivers state with the election of 21 members nullified the state assembly will no longer form a quorum as to continue to function. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1158978040783218&id=100000131003612&bacr=1445920042%3A1445920042%3A10%3A2592808731056085853%3A1445897858%3A0%3A0%3A28800&refid=28&_ft_=qid.6210181531063174931%3Amf_story_key.2664214932843020906%3AeligibleForSeeFirstBumping.#footer_action_list |

When Diezani alone has pocketed close to $10billion. When Stella disgraced and destroyed future chances for women. When the security and exchange commission fared no better under Aruma Oteh. When Nenadi Usman underperformed in education. When the economy collapsed under a celebrated former world bank exec who is a woman. Which mouth I go take talk am? Nigerian women have gone to prove that a woman can do better at what a man does. They are equal opportunity thieves. Actually they are better at stealing than men. Nike Animashaun, the Lagos State Permanent Secretary, ministry of science and technology has been sacked! She could not account for N5billion naira. Because she is highly connected, the heist has been given the fancy name of MISAPPROPRIATION |
Nigerian big men syndrome...... |
I am not saying it was right allowing him to contest, but that it will be wrong too to disallow him from exercising his right. Maybe, the people of Kogi are better governed by a PDP man, or why is the APC getting caught off guard all the time? The patience of the people will soon run thin with the behaviours of eople in the APC hierarchy. |
Where's PARTY SUPREMACY when a morally bankrupt party member Abubakar Audu picked up expression of interest form to contest APC Kogi governorship primaries? Why didn't they prevail on him to forget his ambition or screen him out? If I condemned PDP for allowing Ayo Fayose and Iyiola Omisore to contest their party primaries with their moral baggage, then it behooves on me to condemn APC for allowing such scoundrel to even show up. It's a matter of conscience. It's about time we insist political aspirants answer moral questions in our process. You ever wonder why Hillary Clinton's campaign is becoming problematic for her handlers? She has not satisfactorily answered moral questions on common emails. I lost counts of aspirants who were forced to end their runs due to moral questions. And if Muhammadu Buhari or Yemi Osinbajo ever shows up to campaign for Audu in Kogi, I will rebuke them. cc: lalasticalala ishilove. |
