Hello, I've just found this thread and hoping some professionals advise me. I got a 2KVA 24V stabilizer with 4, 150mA batteries connected. First 2-3 days it was working well, till I noticed that the voltage in my house is low and usually ranges btw 160-190V. So my batteries weren't charging, or should I say were charging very slowly, coz the battery would run down after just 1-2 hours after power outage. Now I called the person who sold it to me to complain and he said I should connect it to a stabilizer to increase the voltage to 220-240V. Now I think this is where d problem started, when I went to look for a 3KVA stabilizer, I didn't get so I called the same guy to ask if I could use a 2KVA or 5KVA stabilizer, he recommended a 5KVA, which I bought and installed, this has been working well for a about 2 months, then all of a sudden the inverter stopped working, it would make a loud continuous beep, when I checked the manual it showed fault. The guy that installed the inverter for me is from this same company that I bought it, he came to check it and told me that I had to replace the inverter. Coz it's damaged by some sort of power surge, I don't want to delve into the supposed warranty I'm supposed to have on all the items. But the technician after checking, later on opened up to me that the problem was from the 5KVA stabilizer that I connected to the inverter. He said it's too big for it and that's the most likely reason for the damage to the inverter.sorry I'm not an electrical engineer so I'm not conversant with the terms, but that's the lay man's understanding. Now I've had to buy another inverter, removed the stabilizer and connected it directly to the mains, this has brought me back to my initial problem of not charging due to low voltage. Pls what do i do? It's beginning to frustrate me, I've invested so much yet I don't enjoy it. A comprehensive lay man's solution would be appreciated. Thanks |
DidiLove1:Thanks for the insightful extract. I think it also buttressed my view. My point to be precise is that all animals can be tamed, also any animal can be aggressive when it feels threatened. But levels of aggressiveness differs for different breeds, even the same extract mentions unique calmness that's associated with that breed. I'm countering ur opinion that the breed doesn't matter as any breed can be trained to be calm or aggressive. I'm arguing that some breeds are naturally more aggressive than others, with or without training. Cheers |
DidiLove1:Because it's not as violent compared to other breeds of comparable size, |
DidiLove1:I'm sorry I beg to differ from ur opinion. Some dogs are naturally violent, some naturally calm, some are fast learners while some are slow learners, that's why there are preferred dogs for different purposes ranging from security, to hunting to sniffing, guide dogs for blind ppl, just companions for old ppl, or companions for homes with children. There's a reason the military/police/security would rather use GSDs, there's reason y Russians/Ukraine prefer to use Caucasians as shepherd dogs, There's reasons y airport officials prefer to use labrador as sniffer dogs. There's reasons y Rottweilers / Doberman are used as guard dogs. There's a reason y the st Bernard is called a gentle giant. There's a reason y the Lhasa is called a parlour dog. All these were because each dog has a unique feature which is usually exploited for a specific use. So I don't think it's out of place to advise someone based on a tailored/specific preference. The OP also hasn't done anything wrong by researching the recommended specie, if there were others, like one other person recommended Caucasian, OP can choose to do some more homework like you've also suggested. #myopinionthough |
No one with knowledge on how to find it? |
This is a very valid question that the OP posted, I've always wanted to know what this our 5k third party insurance covers, coz it bothers me that we pay 5k every year to renew it and we don't even know how and when to access it. Pls any knowledgeable person in the house should help us break it down in lay man's terms |

Hello noble men of the house, pls I've had some serious issues locating the engine number of all the vehicles I have used. Unfortunately it's still a requirement in Nigeria, although it becomes useless if someone changes the engine during the lifetime, also when travelling police do not hesitate to ask for it. Pls does anyone know where to locate the engine number for these 3 vehicles?: Toyota 4runner Lexus RX 330/350 Nissan pathfinder 2006-upwards Thanks |
At this rate, coaches of the different cadres of Nigerian football only need to book a flight to China to scout for Nigerian players |
Fogman:Pls I'd appreciate it if you help me with ur number u use for WhatsApp so I can send u pictures. I'm not based in Lagos so I'll need to have a good idea of what it'll cost me |

Hello house, pls I need a car and I saw a good deal on a very clean Nissan pathfinder, but I've never used that brand before, only Toyota 4runner and Lexus RX330. Would really appreciate it if users of this brand hello me with the pros and cons so I can weigh it before taking a final decision. Tusks |
Nigerians and hypocrisy, so everyone is allowed to drink and misbehave while one girl smokes and is tagged "bad girl". Smoking and drinking are both social vices and the gravity of the vice depends on where someone comes from. In the south one is considered a very bad person when he/she smokes, but in the north it's the total opposite. Smoking is considered a common social vice while drinking alcohol carries more weight. Abeg free her. |
