Kai! And people gathered, shared kolanut and drank on the day this person was born. What's most annoying is the fact that every other non African will assume this is how we think. Talk about small feaces wey dey spoil body |

Good idea, but that 30 day period before demorage is charged is too short for a start. Even the PRO stated that "if the seller is lucky" that's not good. To put a law that'll affect ppl who are lucky |
Bros you're on a tight leash here oh, I think you've taken the right steps so far, my only addition is to talk a lot less, & just act, d more u talk the more arguments you'll have. Just to add, this might seem like a bad idea, but there's this short video clip I saw about "vitamin NO" which needs to be administered in regular doses. Once in a while deny her some "wants" but try to ensure she gets all her "needs". I hope she changes, cheers |
This post in my opinion is morally off for some reasons: - If you intended to donate ur kidney to ur mum it would've happened whether or not it was on Xmas day, it was a time sensitive operation, so stop tagging it an Xmas gift - why tell the world what you feel you did for ur mum when many more ppl do it for strangers without putting it up on social media? - what's most annoying is the so-called "certificate of honour" she was given for "donating her kidney to her mother", can you imagine how many certificates her mother would have if she where to get one for every life saving act she did till the girl got to her current age? |
I'm sorry OP I beg to differ with ur opinions. To start with It's easy to give guidelines like these if you're either a single guy or a lady (any female; single, married, widow, divorcee, old, young). Just have it in mind that no 2 marriages are ever the same, coz human beings differ even identical twins have different characters, so there's no single comprehensive formula, esp when it comes to dealing with women. An aggrieved husband just needs to find the most effective way to "communicate" his grievances. For some women it's not to eat their food, for some not talk, for some it's to call her and sit her down and tell her, in some extreme cases it's to hit her( for the record I'm not in support of that) and I know some ladies who "like getting physical" during confrontations. This "communication" as a solution should be explained a bit more. If you've observed my opinions are based strictly on marriages coz one thing I know for sure is that dating, being engaged, cohabiting does not and will never translate to marriage. #JustMyView |
Hello, good afternoon, pls How about a Toyota 4runner 2010, how much should I be looking at? |
I haven't been to that site in a long time but I think it's not the FRSC that should be telling u, it's the Nigerian police that will tell u if it's still valid or not, last time I checked police almost everywhere I have been to now know about the new tint permit and have been asking for it. It's safer to do it, get the printout, when u go to the police for biometrics and they say it's no more valid, fine u walk away. |
Well, Tbh they can't say they didn't see this coming, trump just tapped into the sentiments of the typical white ignorant American, if he doesn't do anything to address it in his first 100 days, in summary "na die una dey oh". I can bet police shootings of blacks will also increase. Come to think of it he's no different from our Nigerian politicians who tap into tribal/religious sentiments to sway voters. |
Hello all, I currently use a Toyota 4runner 2006 model, and quite frankly I've enjoyed it because of the terrain in which I work and reside, rugged high clearance vehicles like this is best. But I want to upgrade, the truth is this recession is biting hard on all fronts and I'm tempted to consider other high clearance SUVs which I consider just as rugged. Pls I need professional advise on the Pajero, will it give me the same durability or close to that of the 4runner? Kindly consider maintenance. I've made research on fuel economy and they're just about the same for V6 engines. Thanks |
Mummy, I doubt there's anyone who's in a better position to handle parenting like you. So far you and daddy have played your part as parents to ensure ur children get the best. If not your other kids would've been just as bad or close, but they are successful. Ppl asking u to open a business should realise that the person u described with wreck the business. Those asking u to drive him outta your house obviously haven't encountered such problems with their own kids (if at all they're even parents). A better solution would be to rent him his own place, like others suggested. There's A guy whose news was all over NL last month for scamming some high profile politicians using bishop Matthew Kukah's name. He's actually the only son of a late renowned bishop. I know a colleague who's stayed with this guy before and confirmed his character. After his father's death he sold his house that's located in a high brow area in Kaduna for a paltry sum. His dad even almost disowned him, all of this still didn't help. All I'm saying is, there's no textbook that provides a solution to this kind of problem, my advise is to tow the religious line. I know you'll say you've been praying, but PUSH (Pray Until Sth Happens) never lose faith. |
Sorry OP, point of correction, this isn't a private jet, it's the first class wing of fly Emirates airplane |
Please house is there any link I can get to download this series, a reliable source will be of immense help. Thanks |
I stand to be corrected but to the best of my knowledge, DG is used in agencies that use the common civil service format of promotion to the rank of directors, while an agency that is headed by ES does not have directors, or should I say they have managers which are equivalent to directors, their method of promotion (by ranks) is not like the conventional civil service . Elders in civil service Can help shed some more light. Good topic by the way, very enlightening I think this is fp worthy |
Finally, wether it's a media stunt or not, I'm happy, it's in Nigeria, creates job, rice will be cheaper, less dependence on oil, more revenue true sales and tax, overall it's a win for Anambra and Nigeria as a whole |
Thank you for an unbiased/objective view, unfortunately most ppl lack that here Reference: |
NNPC and NLNG I don't support, but refineries I fully support, coz the refineries have been running on negative since only God knows when. It's a pity a lot of ppl on this forum will b biased but in my opinion the refineries will b a liability immediately Dangote's refinery becomes fully operational, it's capacity will be 650,000bpd while the combined capacity of all the govt owned refineries at optimum production is 450,000bpd. I said optimum, which has not been since the 90s. And Buhari thought he would be able to do that, which was even one of his campaign highlights "to fix the refineries" but obviously it's not achievable coz the corruption at civil service level cannot be eradicated instantly The refineries are obsolete, their parts will have to be fabricated coz most cannot be found in the mkt. Trust Nigerians, give that contract to NNPC and watch ppl become billionaires overnight. Just in case most of us do not know the refineries do not generate enough to even pay staff, they have to get support from NPDC, this is just to pay staff oh. Those scared of their jobs shouldn't be, they'll all be reassigned to other SBUs , most of the casual staff have already been relieved. But if the refineries are sold with an efficient regulator supervising their activities, there will b more jobs, mostly casual though, the refineries will b run better, since it'll b strictly for profit, the more they sell the more tax the govt gets, and cost of renovation is totally in the hands of the buyers. On the other hand NLNG has been working quite well, profits and logistics on point, although not perfect, but I can confidently say it's the best model we've had,(i stand to be corrected) because the govt is not in total control. NNPC however shouldn't be sold because of their stakes in other SBUs, the govt needs a single unit that commercially deals in JV contracts, oil and gas exploration etc. But like I usually say, this is just my take on this Sha. |
14 days, realized she was older than me, and from a part of the country I could'nt risk dating |
Goal number 2 for city, and it's the ever rising Kelechi Iheanacho!!! |
Bossmd:No not at all, the Huawei I use, is way bigger, so I'm already used to holding large phones |
Bossmd:Yrs Yeah I have oh, I it's also sleek, base storage of 64GB, 4GB ram, latest Android 6.0, it was even fair in price (167k) as at 3 months ago, but now wey Naira dey free fall, I'm sure it'll b up to 200k. I want to try iPhone 6S plus, I'm so attached to my BlackBerry Z30 but I have to drop it coz BlackBerry is going extinct faster than asteroids destroyed dinosaurs |
Bossmd & greenhulk, na only una get this thread, Haba? Anyways I'm enjoying ur convo it's enlightening It's really hard to strike a balance btw price and functionality, I dropped Samsung since S3, waited for them to improve on their battery, but even at s6, they still haven't. Greenhulk, if you're waiting for iPhone 7, trust me it's not worth the hype, pls take some time to watch a YouTube video of what it looks like. Apart from the missing audio jack and slight picture quality improvements (which most ppl won't notice), I was disappointed. It's closer to 6s than 6s is to 6, the camera , even aesthetically 6S is better looking than 7. I'm also waiting for iPhone 7, but after watching some videos and reviews I just don't see the need to wait, to buy when I can just get the 6S which is now cheaper. About Chinese phones, Infinix, techno and gionee are no go areas, but trust me China phones get levels, Haba u tried Huawei or Xiaomin, well I'm yet to hold a Xiaomin, but I'm currently using Huawei accent mate 7, and it's totally worth it, very good competitor with HTC, Sony, but not Samsung Sha, but way better battery life. |
I literally hate novels, but just when I thought I was reading someone's ordeals, I was on chapter 4, it was then it dawned on me that it was MrsExplorer's piece. Reading it, one easily gets immersed and that to me is the yardstick to measure a good piece. I don't know how it's gonna end and I really don't care for now, I'll just go with the flow and hope it ends with a climax. Also love the cover photo. Good work No sorry GREAT PIECE |
Nna this akwa Ibom used to be peaceful oh even in midst of the militancy of their neighbors in the entire region. Was the demonstration not enough to convey their grievances? Which one come b takeover of govt house again? Even the ones in delta and Bayelsa wey their head dey hot no even reason this kind mission sef |
http://www.sinhalapage.com/what-does-spanish-fly-do-and-does-it-really-work/ Google should've been the first place to look |
Omg, this is heart breaking.......but then again this is just one of the numerous testimonies. In life, somethings supersede patriotism, one of them is the need to survive, this is a natural human instinct. Wish them all the best |
First I must say Jazakhillau Khairan, and also make same prayers to your parents, because if they hadn't stepped up to their responsibilities it would have been harder for you as u grew older. The world has been influenced by immorality and there is fear that "westernization" will creep into Islam like it did to Christianity. Unfortunately this is a painful fact, coz the idea now is "you're not exposed if you're not exposed". Like exposing ones nudity also exposes ones brains. Pls don't hesitate to do to your children what your parents did to u. I personally don't buy the idea of democracy when running a house, if sth is right according to Qur'an and Sunnah don't seek the consent of the child to implement. Once again thanks for this inspiring write-up, and that of others too |
