not everyone is privileged. you think Dangote and the rest got more money by working the hardest?

as we are talking now, some people don't even know what they will eat today while some of already had breakfast
You think, working hard is only when you push a wheelbarrow or carry blocks on your head??

Dangote work with his brain and that is the hardest thing to use as a tool...to maintain a better inflow of income... squirting ideas and managing ideas and making critical decisions can be very tasking....

Nearly almost every citizen of this country is suffering from this pandemic and as you know, that they're people who don't have what to eat.... Then, do your little best to share with them the little you have....

If the money is very excess that you can use it to get an island in any part of the country where you can make it your own country, have a couple citizens to live with, the best hospital and best technology and a better lifestyle...

Will say it's vanity??

Even Dangote, Adenuga, Otedola, etc still WANTS to be richer than what they have at the moment.

Wanting to be rich is a desire, and you don't expect me to tell you how much efforts and plans that I have put in place to acquire a landed property in the island.... And how much plans that are on ground to own a multi-million dollar ventures!!!

OP so you took out time to blame Nigerians....

Well, I will blame the government... and this is why...

We don't have birth control...We don't even have the impact of government in most interior communities in Nigeria and the people in such communities live by their own means....

I did my NYSC in a community in the south and I visited a friend of mine in the West where he served.... over there, a young girl will be seen as a queen because she has had upto 5to7 kids from different men.... I mean, young girls of 18 to 25...

In that community, there has never been NEPA light there... No bank or ATM, They struggled to have network mass and a couple of good roads...

How do you expect men to father a child and be responsible?

As it is now, we don't even know our population... We were said to be 180milion and one day, we started claiming that we are now above 200milion...

No statistics.... No data base, no nothing!!
Politics › Re: Opinion: Nigerian Values – Food For Thought By Ndidi Uwechue by yanabasee(m): 7:17am On Apr 21, 2020
OP food is essential to living..... You can't stay hungry and have a plan...

If we must reason from your angle of thoughts.... We should be provided with the basic things (like standard of living) should be at an average level for us to be able to meet with the daily challenges...

Right now, we just live to survive....and we must eat to survive.

Family › Re: Please Advise. Her Mouth Is Always Opened by yanabasee(m):
easyconnect:
She's 6years old.
We often shout at her before she can suddenly close her mouth during the day, but at night, she sleeps with her mouth opened.
Have you encountered this with your children?
What did you do to correct that.
I fear she might keep opening her mouth even in adulthood.

Suggestions, recommendations are all welcome please.
Look for those people that look derange and have big mouth and teeth.... that is caused by their frequent opening of mouth and tell her that, she'll look exactly like that, if she refuses to be closing her mouth ....

Then look for a friend or somebody that she loves to play with, either in school or at home and tell the person to help and talk to her about opening her mouth....

That way, she should be mindful of it....

Politics › Re: Oil Price Collapses To $11 Per Barrel Amid Covid-19 Pandemic by yanabasee(m): 3:42pm On Apr 20, 2020
haywire07:
It's hightime Nigeria stopped international sales of oil in full capacity.
Let us channel ample amount of the oil to a reservoir and save up for a better day.
Cut deals with some African countries and use their reservoirs if ours is filled

When we save enough, the Government should declare our refineries ''out of service".

After this Covid -19 pandemic, we begin to sell from our reservoirs for the main time, while the refineries will be under renovation.

And also very importantly is the need to diversify.
I had to quote you, because I was expecting to read further..

This is it.... the oil drop on price and value is expected and this is so because all companies and factories have been temporarily on hold and will likely resume fully after the pandemic....

Believe me, there will be high price in oil as there will be very high demand and this high demand will cut across till 2023...

But I fear for USA as they may likely hold on to their oil so as to boost the black market and devaluing the price earlier than expected....You know how conning and wicked the US can be....
Health › Re: Coronavirus: 2 Vedic Lifecare Hospital Workers Test Positive In Lagos by yanabasee(m): 3:34pm On Apr 20, 2020
The coronavirus in Nigeria is more than the recorded cases.... Because, only when somebody begin to express symptoms for covid19 before he/she will now report for a test.. ..

But prior to that, the person must have had contacts and handshakes and must have held a currency and used it to buy something and the spread keeps going forward....

My uncommon sense is that, the government should come out to tell us the truth about their planning and efforts and what they need and what they feel they should do to aid the treatment and not the spread....

Because, when they indirectly complained about ventilators, people volunteered to repair some and companies even make up efforts to build new ones.... and I am sure that ventilator issues is getting tackled...
