Enlightened Nigerians understand the current economic realities leave no room for such violent retaliatory actions. These companies employ thousands of our brothers and sisters some of whom are breadwinners in their families; when you destroy what keeps them at work and render them jobless in the process, are you gonna employ them as your domestic staff and pay them equivalent amounts they were receiving in those companies?

Retaliate, yes we may, but the situation at the moment kinda has our hands tied behind our backs- diplomacy and tact should suffice for now. In the propitious time, when we emerge from our operation room, boiling with vitality after a successful surgery, then we can take our pound of flesh. But for now, any such acts of vandalism shouldnt even be contemplated..

Only Allah knows what really transpired between the woman and her assailants that day. She might be preaching inciteful messages that were too hard to bare. Even tho i condemn the action of the killers, by preaching around a mosque makes her actions daring. It's like an imam coming to preach in a church territory. I suggest the government ban street evangelism so cases like this can be averted in future. It is wrong to go around with megaphone and start preaching as early as 5am when people are resting. Those who blame Islam for her death are just displaying ignorance. We cannot use the action of few to judge the entire muslims. Islam remains a peaceful and tolerant religion.

Nigeria is a multi-religious society and it is high time we respect the rights of fellow citizens. Hijab is a very important aspect of the islamic religion and i don't see why some people hide under security threats to trample under the rights of muslims. It is unfair to say the least to ask a lady brought up with the use of islamic wear to be forced to remove her hijab in public. There are many issues we as a country should face and work on collectively for our development instead of rejoicing on the notion and sight of a muslim lady being forced to remove hijab .
