As an okada man from Ondo town, when people stopped me and tell me where they are going, I give them high price, most of them will complain that they can't pay such amount, then I will jokingly tell them that "no be all of us gather vote for Buhari and APC"?
From their reply I get who they want as our next president.
But I noticed almost 50% of my today's passenger want Obi, 25% want Atiku and 10% want Tinubu, 15% said they are not going to vote claiming all politicians have the same blood running inside them.

Today January 15th is armed forces remembrance, this year's celebration is quite different from others because I noticed a lot of emotional gameplay on social media especially here on Nairaland about the Jan 1966 failed coup. Even here on Nairaland forum I noticed that a lot of threads about how Igbos planned to take over Nigeria during the 1966 coup, to the extent of one Dr Musa Bayero hash tagging #Northremembers#. This brings me back as far back as 1983 when the current President Buhari overthrew Alh shehu shagari and his Vice Dr Alex Ekwueme, some speculation was that Shagari was planning to hand over to Dr Alex Ekwueme his Vice thus leading to the coup.
Now with the way Peter Obi popularity is surging and they way people are particularly interested in this election especially the youth, one can comfortably predict how the outcome of the election would be. I'm not predicting Obi would win but I know he stands a strong chance of winning, If the latter happens by God's grace would President Buhari led APC government comfortably hand over power to Peter Obi With all these reservations by the north about Igbos?

Well before the campaigns kick off how did he even get popular in the first place?

The one place billboards are needed the most is the one place there isn't even enough billboards, rural areas and villages. But how did he become popular then?

Through the people!

Peter Obi is currently the most famous person and popular to win the elections cos he has more zealous people by his side. He already has the grassroots support on his side. You see, that's why you are likely to see more people with Labour Party flags on their cars or Labour Party hats on them than any one else or Party.

He's more likely to win cos his supporters are far and wide and they're ever passionate to Come out and vote, they're angry. Every Labour Party supporter is a Labour Party agent, free of charge.

So who needs an almost obsolete billboard in our time when you have the people's ability to network, when about everyone today has their own mini billboard with them everywhere they go. Keep your billboards, we have us and we seem to be the majority.

Before you disagree, go through previous comments of urchins. It's just hatred for Igbo man. It's unfortunate that in 2023, an Asian is prime minister of Britain but an Igbo man can't be president in his own country. This is one of Buhari's legacy.
