EXCLUSIVE! Fayemi presents N25bn Budget to Buhari for Ekiti guber election, Says "Ekiti people are poor, they will sell their votes"

In readiness for the July 14 governorship election in Ekiti State, the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi Fayemi has submitted a budget of N25 billion to President Muhammadu Buhari to fund the election.

Fayemi, who is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), presented the budget to the President through his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari before the President met with governorship aspirants in Abuja yesterday.

A source that was privy to the development disclosed that Fayemi frankly told the Chief of Staff that “Ekiti people are extremely poor, when they see money, they will vote for me. The moment there is money, we can buy enough votes to win the election.”

Even before he declared his intention to vie for the governorship, Fayemi had allegedly boasted that he had capacity to provide N8 billion from his own pocket to fund the election, while also giving the assurance of N20 billion from the Presidency to buy one vote at not less than N20,000.″

After presenting the N25 billion budget to President Buhari’s Chief of Staff yesterday, a meeting was fixed for Saturday, where how to source the fund will be discussed and finalized.

The source however revealed that four major government institutions are already penciled down for the provision of the fund.

Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai was listed to be contacted to handle the souring of at least, from N10.5 billion from the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) since his person is the Managing Director while the Minster of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi will raise N6 billion from the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA). The remaining N8.5 billion is expected to be raised from the NNPC.

Mtcheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew IPOB miscreants everywhere. undecided embarassed
FortifiedCity:
Now this is not a curse as some of you might see. Now let's take a look at why I said that;

1. The Jihadi revolution going on in the middle belt might not get to you now but it's your offspring that will suffer. How? Because if the Jihad continues, it will eventually envelope the whole nation. By then, the Nigerian fulanis will import mercenaries from other countries to assist them in the othman danfodio plot. You might not be alive to experience this but your generation will. You'd be the dumbest to believe that Buhari doesn't know, and approve, of those killings. What's the only way out? Resist the killings and vote him out.

2. This government has borrowed a whole lot that in decades to come, we might not be able to pay. The minister of finance even said Nigeria doesn't need the world bank for financial assistance yet they lend you money. You might not live to see the implications of all these now. It is your generation coming that'll bear the brunch.

3. I have never seen in both my life as a corporate citizen and a national citizen where nepotism and ethnic supremacy reigned so badly. Buhari puts his people in strategic places so that all he does goes by without being fired. Such a system never yields fruits..never...because there is too much familiarity. I'm just thinking of what his relatives are putting In place at the moment to ensure that this country will always pay their dues in billions annually. This will affect your generation, even more than it affects you now.

4. Corruption is very common now. Believe me when I say that those who came into power came into power to loot, to kill and to destroy. They don't give a damn whose ox is gored. When eventually Buhari steps down, you'll see that the corruption perpetrated in his government is the worst in the history of this country. Now they might be covering some things, yet the corruption oozes. You might not feel the impact so much now, it is your generation coming that will feel it worse

The best thing that can happen to this country is for Buhari to leave as soon as possible. I am enemy of deliberate failures. I have nothing personal against a man who fails but a man who has failed to grow with the times and be better. That man is Buhari.

He is an enemy of this country. Take my word how you want. That's the truth. It's just that Nigerians in addition to their numerous 'awards' are also unofficially the most docile humans on the planet. Only a few nations/citizens will tolerate what Nigerians tolerate from our politicians. I look forward to that day when one can stand tall and declare with all human pride, 'I am a Nigerian'!

But before then, 'if you vote Buhari again, it Shall never be well with your generation'!

11 - they are also responsible for you posting or commenting thrash in a public forum
majorbravo:
You know when something bad happens and people ask if your village people are after you?

If no, then who are the real village people?

Your village people are not far away living in a mud hut using palm leaves for clothes, cowries for necklace and coconut shells for bra, No! They are the ones that:

1. Take up all the time you should be using to improve your situation to encourage you to drink yourself to stupor in the bar.

2. They are the ones that come to argue about Messi and don’t encourage you to be better than Messi.

3. Your village people are the ones you lend 500 naira and they rain abuses on you when you ask for it back.

4. They are the ones who would hail you when you behave in an uncouth manner in public but not call you to the side to caution you.

5. They are that guy that introduces you to all the bad girls that would drain your account in a week or to a sugar daddy that would ruin your life with abortions.

6. They are those that you introduce to your partner and within a week they slide into their DM to snatch.

7. They are those old men in Agbada that pay you money to vote for them and forget you when they enter office. After all they have paid for your stupidity.

8. They are those criminals that would pay you to destroy public life and property when things are not going well for them while their children are safely abroad.

9. They are those lga chairmen, state governors and constituency reps that you don't hold to account when they embezzle funds meant for the development of your lives and your children's future but would call on you to help them win elections.

How do you avoid them? Well you need to Get Closer to God.

Remember this: A mosquito cannot breed without stagnant water. Choosing to be closer to God has it’s advantages, you have less village mosquitoes around you, these people would find your lifestyle change so unwelcoming to their unproductive ways, and after a while they would leave you alone to blossom
