Chimok:
Even after Obi has been schemed to the 3rd position, Tinubu men have continued to have sleepless nights over Obi's every move. Why are they not attacking Atiku who was given the 1st runner up and who has also gone to court in the bid to upturn the INEC's declaration

GreyLaw:
Ha! This is an easy question mate. Everybody in each state is the governor's political 'subject'. As for the Oba the governor would have to go through the assembly. Even the Oba of Benin can be removed by the governor. As for me, the Oba of Benin is the strongest Oba in Nigeria, but even he can be dealt with if he messes up and dabbles into politics.

But Benin Obas respect themselves and carry themselves with so much dignity and the governors truly respect them.
what criteria did you use in arriving at oba of Benin is the strongest oba in Nigeria

Seun what do you mean by IPOB is now a slur? Isn't IPOB a terrorist group in Nigeria? Is nairaland having sympathy or supporting terrorists group. As long as FG still recognize it as a terrorist group nothing wrong in saying IPOB terrorists except if you are supporting and promoting there activities here in nairaland . Finally make more clarification of what you mean by slur, so that you can Add it in your rules and regulations as number 23 .

Politics › Re: Next Anambra State Governor Must Be An Igala Man!! by yarimo(m): 12:37am On Mar 30, 2023
So because nnewi never produce governer doesn't mean IGALA won't be next governor of Anambra state. Anambra state is their ancestral land too
onumadu:
Mischievous post.
Since the creation of Anambra state (both old and new) an Nnewi person has never been elected governor except the three months Virgy Etiaba interregnum.
Imagine a whole Nnewi people that are the heartbeat of Anambra, and yet they somehow get sidelined for governorship positions in Anambra state.
And they don't complain, at least not yet.
Even Nnewi roads are being ignored despite the fact that Nnewi generates billions of Naira for Anambra state coffers, while roads in Igala part of Anambra state has been getting government attention from Peter Obi's government to Obiano and now to Soludo.
You people creating this type of post should fear God, but I support that the OP is likely from South west.

dinachi:
Even in that Kogi State, Igala people are so backward that you begin to wonder. Very proud, very poor and empty people. Smelly everywhere. Infact, I know that the Egbiras and Okun are tired of them.

Imagine an Igala Man coming and accusing Anambra people. Just imagine. Oh. If we hand over Anambra State to you can you do anything there? You want to return Anambra to your backward state of Kogi.
Anambra state is IGALA ancestral land. Next governor must be IGALA

If you want to go to Abuja through lokoja the smell that will welcome is so pungent and bad, like fermented cassava
That won't stop IGALA from occupying Anambra state government house as governor
