Politics › Re: A Pyrrhic Victory For APC - The Real Battle Is In The Courts by yarimo(m): 7:00pm On Mar 01, 2023

Nigerians.

The sham of an election that we have just witnessed may indeed be a blessing in disguise – as it has laid bare – for all to see – the main problem in our nation – impunity.

Those of you that are readers of history may have come across the term - Pyrrhic victory. Such is simply a victory that inflicts such a big toll on the victor that it is tantamount to defeat.

And I believe that the so-called victory of APC-INEC – is exactly that - a Pyrrhic victory.

Why?

Because there is no judge in Nigeria that can say he/she has not witnessed the monumental fraud that has taken place – a fraud that was broadcast worldwide for over 4 days - where simple arithmetic proved to be too difficult. They may look away – but they have seen it.

Fundamentally, it is our court-judge system that has failed this country – not really our presidents.

All great nation states are founded on law-and-order – everything else is built on top of this. It is law that gives any president power – and that same law can take presidential powers away.

Those judges that look after our courts – are all Nigerians – living in Nigeria.

Who are they, where are they?

We must put serious pressure on them to do the right thing.

These people should not be left to hide behind anyhowness again - while millions of Nigerians continue to suffer injustice. That is not what god put them in their positions to do.

They must do the right thing. And the people who love this country will back them 100%.

PS. Even if LP or PDP had won – these same judges could void the election – and declare the APC candidate as winner. We have already seen this happen in IMO state.

The Battle is with the judiciary - not APC, not INEC. We must shine light on the Judiciary - for they have been operating in the shadows for too long.

As Nigeria just concluded 2023 presidential election I expected so much jubilation across Nigeria rather I am seeing unhappy people everywhere even on social media. Out of curiosity I ask….
Why no jubilation ?
Are we not happy with the choice winner of the election ?
Have we entered one chance ?
Did INEC Scammed us ?

Please if you have answer to this question let me thanks

Why was voting made to start late in PO strongholds?

Why is Rivers Election not properly checked despite all the allegations?

Why were voters disenfranchised in Lagos?

Why was Akwaibom allegations not properly checked?

It was around past 12pm my local time, I was online earlier but was on break, on returning, I made some comments, while trying to reply to the mentions, I noticed I was unable to, my instincts thought was it must be banning yeah it was but for how long?

To my surprise, I was banned for good 7 months plus to be released 2 days after the election which was yesterday, my longest banning since 2014 is 2 months +... Of course, that was deliberate, I could be a threat to some people's candidate chances of winning..

I logged out immediately, went out to have some liquor just not to think about it. I sometimes believe in fate, if all dreams came through, then everyone supposed to be rich meaning there are some factors giving nods to whatever we wish or dream. So not everything you can do anything about.

I returned back later to the house, luckily for me, James Web Telescope just started sending photos to Nasa, oh dear I am fascinating with cosmos, infact I saw the contrail of the rocket the day it was launched around Dec . Movies, musics, privacy are things I don't joke with, so the banning only created more time to enjoy my hobbies.

3 days after I was banned, I logged into my alternative moniker to notify my people that I would be gone till after the election as I have been banned, the message was well received, logged out and never bother to peep around with any alternative moniker.

Was it tempting to serve such long banning without engaging? Hell no, if I was deliberately banned just not to be part of the election , then so be it.

I worked like no before, improved my cooking skills, I cook twice daily ( no outside food), cosmos, musics, movies, documentaries, foreign affairs. I was able to create more space in other to enjoy more of my privacy. Lots changed for good . Sometimes, some mistakes/error might just be preparing you for better future. Learned lots of things.

In summary, the banning was a blessing in disguise. Good to be back though.
hmm only 7 months. My last ban was 15 months . From august 2021 to November 2022 just because of one terrorists IPOB

Deltafirstson:
Rescue Nigeria Global Network (RNGN) during her meeting held on Tuesday 28th February 2023 thanked Nigerians for standing for Nigeria through the 25th February election.
The meeting was attended by all the regions: Europe, America, Australia, Africa, Asia, and the Middle east. Also by national and state coordinators from all over the world and the 36 States of Nigeria plus FCT Abuja.
The appointed spokespersons after the Global meeting Dr. Michael Chukwujekwu, Prof. Mohamed, Barr Ayoola, and Prof. Clara Egonwan maintained that the great country will surely work again void of corrupt electoral malpractices together with errors of commission and omission.
The ongoing electoral results of the 25th February 2023 from the polling units are evidence that all states plus FTC Abuja election results declared by INEC were fixed.

Consequently, all genuine Nigeria Citizens need not make reference to those INEC fixed results.
This is Irrespective of who wins the respective states with whichever margin after the result was fixed.
This is especially as the fixed results in most states reflect votes that are high above the registered accredited voters.
Again with evidence of vote results declared by INEC in some polling units, wards, and places where election voting did not take place.
The proposal and instruction of re-election by General Muhammadu Buhari seem good in an ideal situation, especially for the areas where election voting did not take place.
However, all the areas where voting took place and the votes counted as well as captured by polling agents must be uploaded through BIVA.
The corrupt compromise of the active players and partners in rigging the election, should not be given credence to further advance their enterprise.
The brutality and Threats to citizen’s life and to some none corruption INEC officers and Youth coppers should not be swept under the carpet till the Perpetrators are brought to the book.
Hence as a matter of urgency the Nigeria Citizens in order to keep Nigeria safe plea as follows:
The result of the 25th February from the polling units transmitted through BIVAS are needed by Nigerians as a matter of urgency.
-Dismissal of the INEC chairman and all the zone Coordinators are needed now before any further action or election in order to keep Nigeria secure.

The perpetrators of brutalities and threats to the lives of citizens should be brought to the book.

Announcement nairalanders don't bother yourself Reading, the post is senseless. Thank you
FSU:
Welcome to the country of balablu bulaba, where anybody can be president.
Some musings for the day.
Where did INEC procure the BVAS Machines from? Someone should visit the company and "look around" before another election in 4 years. There's a lot to learn from there.
Everything is coming together now. I was wondering why APC would fight itself during the last month over Naira repackaging. They sold you something to talk about while colluding behind the scene with the BVAS producer to play a fast one on you. They succeeded.
For those who voted for competence and a new direction, God bless your effort. You won but you were rigged out by the BVAS company in collusion with INEC and APC. I hope Obi remains in Labor Party and build it up. It's only 4 years. I suggest Obi visits all 36 states and Abuja and thank them. Obi, you must continue to be different from balablu and Atiku. Those ones go forget Nigerians in the next 1 week. Obi achieved a lot in less than one year. He is the only winner here. The rest are losers, including Tinubu, Atiku, Buhari, and INEC. Buhari's name is written in pencil in the history books of NG. He came twice (1984 and 2015), he killed the country twice, and left ingloriously twice.
For those who voted for Atiku, you need to listen to Fayose from his interview on TVC (Ah! But TVC belongs to Tinubu. There's always a comma everywhere in that country) and run for your dear life from PDP, the sinking ship. Atiku, happy final retirement. If you come back again in 2027 you are a mumu man. You ruined PDP and it's all on you. And, you better don't go to court to fight this one. You planned with Okowa and Tambuwal to out-rig Tinubu, but the old wily tortoise outwitted you. The audio of all three of you discussing rigging strategies would stare you in the face in court and expose you for what you are: a rigger like Tinubu. My wish came thru for you. It is unacceptable for a Fulani to replace a Fulani. I can live with Tinubu rigging himself in, but a win by Atiku would have been devastating for NG.
I hope Labor Party can provide the opposition to an incompetent ruling party, something APC did very well against PDP, but PDP could not do against APC. Your country needs a strong opposition party. That's the only way to keep a ruling party in check. Learn from the Democrats vs the Republicans in the US.
As for Oluomo and his thugs in Lagos, one day monkey go go market and him no go return. For now you may have the Tinubu-given cover to become the king of Lagos thugs and do what you wish with non-Yoruba Lagosians. But a day shall come for you.
Just wondering if all those SANs, preaching and moralizing journalists, and Civil Society groups with video evidences of what Oluomo and company did to disenfranchise voters in Lagos can take Oluomo to justice just for the sake of public good? I would do it if in a position to do so.
Wike, the empty barrel that makes the most noise. Your role is ambivalent for me. You did a good job helping to flush Atiku down the drain. But you finished with the job of executive thug who brought another thug into power. For your "good" job, you will never be president (everyone saw how jealous of Obi you were). After this what next? A ministerial position from Tinubu. Would that be worth what you did?
In closing, I had my situation room where I followed the election from mutiple systems simultaneously. I can boast of understanding what took place despite not being on the ground. You only need to put everything together to create a picture. The process clearly shows there's a big problem with being a Nigerian. Therefore, I have decided to mind my business. My NG passport expired recently and I was going to renew it if Obi became president. I am no longer renewing it. It's over. Like these Kenyans in the pictures below, I will only talk about NG in mockery of the new president. Lace your shoes for the next 4 years.
