It is not your place by any means/way possible so kindly shove it up where the sun don't shine and return whatever device you use to make silly demands here to the adult owner! Constitutionally it is my place, OBI tomorrow is Monday and you must hold rallies in any part of south east state to show your popularity |

Politics › Re: Old Notes Deadline,Tinubu,Atiku Asked For Extension But Peter Obi Did Not.why ? by yarimo(m): 6:23pm On Jan 29, 2023 |
PETER OBI clearly knows his opinion is not important knowhowk: Atiku Requested for Extension of the 31st Deadline Of The Old Notes ( 500,1000 and 200) As a Legal Tender,Though that of Atiku was Mild and citing the Masses Predicaments but Baba Tinubu Took it sooo Personal according to his Outburst recently in Abeokuta ...
But i Notice that Peter Obi has not Complained about this ..Does this Explained and Implies that LP is not bothered because they do not rely on Vote Buying ,Does this implies that they do not have business Stock piling billions of Naira in Houses towards the February Election ?
Though ,No Party is a Saint when it comes to Voters Inducements but the facts still remains that Peter Obi Supporters do use this Slogans ...We do not give Shishi ....Our Rallies are Attended by Genuine Supporters ,Canopy Rallies Yes ,Real and not Massive Crowds Mostly Paid .
In Conclusion ...Why Alhaji Peter Obi according to the Borno Monarch Not Complaining about the Deadline ...
Oya Comments oooo.

Politics › Re: Peter Obi's Candidacy: The Lessons And Motivations For The Common Man. by yarimo(m): 12:30pm On Jan 29, 2023 |
TONYE001: Beyond politics, there is a thing or two we all can learn from Peter Obi's candidacy.
A Recap
Recall that PO was the governor of Anambra State for 8 years. During his tenure, he had all sorts of oppositions from the State House of Assembly to the common men on the street. This is not because he was a bad leader, nor was it because he didn't care about his people. You see, corruption is so deeply rooted in our society that any attempt to fight it will meet systemic and human oppositions. Civil servants and politicians benefit massively from the flaws of the Nigerian system; over the years, they have instituted defense mechanisms against anyone that may attempt to break their evil trade.
But PO didn't fail as governor. In the face of all these, he delivered his state and left clean.
The Current Situation
PO is the presidential candidate of the Labour Party. His candidacy has now spread like a wildfire. One would expect that the two political parties will prioritize each other and ignore the so-called small parties. This is hardly the case today. We're seeing a situation where both forces attack LP like it's the most frightening threat to them. Recall that this party was once tagged as "mushroom." Why would "giant parties" stoop so low to fight a mere insignificant mushroom party?
The Pathway
I remember when PO, his team, and the entire manpower of the LP started this movement. Many didn't believe that they'd make any progress. I recall when PO was touring the world, holding interactive sessions, delivering lectures, granting interviews, and all. Many said that the LP and its members should wait for the campaigns to start and that they will not match the two big parties. I recall when some wrote that in the north, no one will support PO's candidacy. I read all of these things here on Nairaland.
Let me attempt to see the situation through PO's eyes. Maybe the momentum of the two big parties compared to the LP may have troubled him. Maybe the fact that his team may not have funds in the tones of what PDP and APC may have also worried him. After all, our culture monetizes voting.
But did these worries intimidate him? I guess we all know the answer.
Action
So, what did PO, his team, and the entire LP do? Work! Nothing else. While they kept attacking him, he continued working. Reno Omokri was almost always on Twitter, throwing jabs at him. I don't recall if PO ever replied to any. He kept on working. He considers himself an applicant for a job, and he said wherever he's invited for an interview, he will be there.
Many people cried that his ambition is impossible. This, of course, did not deter him. He continued to be everywhere at the same time, online and offline. His interviews are captivating, and his knowledge of politics and economics is overwhelming. He is apart from the other candidates. With each interview, he wins new followers from all corners of Nigeria. The battle is not won yet, true, but his progress is worthy of celebration.
The Lessons
We all have ambitions, very great ambitions. Maybe we should rewind our lives to the days we were very young. Some of us wanted to be pilots, astronomers, medical doctors, lawyers, engineers, and all. Some of us wanted to own great companies, massive businesses, etc. How many of us have achieved these dreams?
If I administer a questionnaire probing the reasons some of us may have failed to achieve the ambitions we created for ourselves, the reasons may not be far from finances, lack of parental support, lack of the right opportunities, etc. But are these reasons enough, really? For example, if you don't have the money to go to school, do you have the basic requirements to gain admission at least (complete WASSC and a working brain)? Have you exploited scholarship opportunities that are all over the place? If money is your problem, have you maximized the numerous money-making opportunities online? Or, do you spend all your time online seeking entertainment and being rude to others?
If your problem is the time you may have lost, does time really matter? Does it matter if you're going to school in your fifties? It really does not matter as far as your ambition lies in the four walls of that school. All you need to do is to work, just like PO. Sit down and read your books. Get off the internet and learn some skills. Go to YouTube and get some new knowledge. Go to the market and learn your desired trade. Go and start working. Escape the intimidations of your failures and lacks. Be deaf to the voices of your opposition and doubters. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is impossible as far as there is life.
Conclusion
We are all seeing how PO is turning an impossible situation into a gigantic, unbelievable miracle. Whether he wins or not, he has passed a message to you and me. What we do with this message is left to us.
Have a nice day.

So Nigeria is now Uk, US and Canada abi ? Imagine this are the kind of people supporting obi . Nwaetche: My Yoruba Muslim friend!
That is how politic is done in advanced countries like UK, US and Canada that you have probably being dying to elope to to escape the multidimentional poverty prevalent in Iragbeji.
I hope you have not escape already from Iragbeji like Tinubu and start claiming Lagos as usual.
Well if you must know, the Townhall or close contact set up helps candidate to share their vision with a small group of people who in turn take the message to their friends and neighbours.
Others can also watch the programs on TV and internet to understand the candidates manifesto and make their voting decisions unlike Rallies where people only shout slogans. |

For months now, you guys think your old media propaganda will work, but as God would have it, the free media has become more powerful, and it is countering every bit of BAT's expensive cock-and-bull stories.
Just to ask, can you tell me where BAT is hoping to get his block vote from. Infact, don't tell me, just reason it and get used to the reality that God wants to use this election to make the Old political criminals spend their money in vain and the right man with lesser spending will win. |
