Again I don't know what is the big deal that Ojukwu is supporting IBB.  There were Yorubas, Igbos, Hausa/Fulani, that have been begging IBB to run for elections even before Ojukwu decided to endorse IBB.   So Ojukwu's actions should not been seen as representing all Igbos but some Igbos.  Just because Soyinka rejected IBB does not mean some Yorubas won't support IBB, afterall some of Abiola's own relatives have been endorsing  IBB even before the last presidential elections.  So if you all have a grip with Ojukwu fine, but don't now start pointing fingers at every single Igbo person.

I don't understand how Ojukwu supporting IBB is a big deal and has now become an Igbo problem when we have people from all nooks and corners of Nigeria pushing for IBB presidency? It has always been said that after Biafra Ojukwu became irrelevant in Nigeria (except the Eastern Region), so I don't understand the excitement about Ojukwu wanting to support IBB.

So fucking what Ojukwu is supporting IBB? I thought Ojukwu was irrelevant in Naija politics so why the big deal? Afterall one of Abiola's own relative, brother, in the last election said IBB should be forgiven for the wrong he did in the past. What I know for sure is that Ojukwu's stance will definetly not make an impact on whether Igbos vote for IBB or not.

Concerning Victor Banjo we might never really know why he stalled at Ore when he had every opportunity to advance and capture Lagos. Remember, this was a period when Igbos were viewed as been over ambitious, and so he might have gotten a cold feet just thinking that he was been used by Ojukwu and other top brass in Biafra to take over Lagos. Maybe he never believed in the Biafran cause and made up his mind to sabotage the whole Lagos invasion. But my question is why did he run back to Biafra after the collapse of the Lagos invasion? He could have easily ran to his kins men and taken credit for stalling the Biafran invasion of Lagos.

With these tactics that some of our policemen/women are using to extort money from people, no wonder they continue to look hungry and wretched. Nna you have said it all, our leaders should start focusing on South East issues first. Yes, Awo dealt with the Igbos but because of what he did, I believe the Yorubas are controlling the financial sector. I wish Okpara had swapped places with Zik then maybe things would have been different.

We Igbos can blame Awo and call him names, but he was investing his time and energy fighting for his people and the same goes for the Northern Leaders. If Zik was smart he should have read the writing on the wall and done the same thing. I mean look how we all at this present age are fighting among ourselves, and we expect Zik to win the Western Region in the 60's? With all what Fashola is doing in Lagos, I know if he runs for the Governorship in Abia against Kalu he will lose hands down.
