[quote author=elampiro post=32263790][b]Gbam! South South and South East refused to turn out and lost about 4 million votes when compared to their turn out of 2011. From 11 million votes in these two zones in 2011 to 7 million votes in 2015. South East lost 2.5 million votes from 2011 voters. South South lost 1.4 million votes from 2011 voters. Buhari won by just 2.57 million. Even in Joanthan's home state, the votes for PDP dropped from 505,811 in 2011 to 361,209 in 2015. Buhari's votes increased from 691 to 5,194. Same across the whole of S/S and S/E. People were just tired of the way PDP were handling the country ...and they were unable to rig.....courtesy of d card reader. |
Politics / Re: Jonathan Vs Buhari: How They Stand In 36 States, FCT - VANGUARD by yayankainuwa: 3:03pm On Mar 23, 2015 |
kasiem: may b ur dreaming, Buhari comfortably won these states in 2011, when he ws in CPC wz less political tentacles, his chances hv increased wz ppl desire for change n security breaches particularly boko haram factor against GEJ . The incumbent Niger governor's performance is more on paper than reality as its being speculated, I can bet my last dime GMB will win these states wz over 70%. |

my heart bleeds for the youths of this country, presently over 15 LGAs frm 774 in the country are under d control of d dreaded Boko sect, in d last 4 yrs over 500 soldiers n policemen( the agents of d State) have been killed, thousands of innocent civilians were wasted, several mosques n churches burnt, many innocent Nigerians kidnapped. ..all these under d nose of a living president, wz all presidential powers n resources, its a common knowledge now that d insurgents are no more faceless, they perpetrate their mayhem in broad daylight unchallenged, while the president campaigns for continuity. Some of us are so heartless n inhuman jubilating over what is happening in the NE. They are so blind with sentiments to see nothing wrong with status qou, they hv forgotten that the primary responsibility of every president is to protect lives , properties n integrity of his subjects not minding the language they speak, not considering their location on Nigerian map, Christian or Muslims, Infidels or Idol worshippers. our destiny is in our hands we may decide to liberate ourselves or continue to live in bondage. Definitely, posterity wil judge us for our actions or inactions. God bless Nigeria. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: The Trouble With The Buhari Manifesto BY ABIMBOLA ADELAKUN by yayankainuwa: 6:17pm On Jan 01, 2015 |
Sambo’s office gets N463.5m; SGF’s, N6.9bn N131.9 million for fuel, lubricants. State House will spend N6.5 billion repairs/maintenance of buildings, which will gulp N826.6 million purchase of canteen/kitchen equipment, N303.9 million; purchase of medical equipment, N174 million provision of meals, N174.5 million. maintenance of residential office and residential buil-dings in the State House will cost the nation N913.5 million, N131.9 million will be used for fuel and lubricants within the financial year. The Presidency has also set aside N202 million for stationary N223 million for staff uniforms and other clothings. The Office of the Vice President is expected to spend N21.6 million on fuel; N12.7 million on generators; N11.5 on meals/refreshments and N15 million on honorarium within the year. state-house-operations. When you add 826,6 billion Naira they told us is for repair/maintenance of buildings and the 913.5 million Naira they said is for maintenance for residential office and residential buildings, you have a total of 1,740.1 (ONE BILLION SEVEN HUNDRED AND FOURTY MILLION, ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA) for the repair of presidential building that they spent billions on last year. Wait a minute, which one be RESIDENTIAL OFFICE AGAIN? In the face of dwindling economy when the nation is indebted to their civil servants for months, the government is still spending some 303.9 million Naira to buy spoons, plates, pots, cattles and knives. Is our Naira to useless that we have to spend 202 milion Naira on stationaries? The presidency will also spend the sum of 223 million Naira for staff uniforms. TOBBY777 is worried about this, how many staffs are in the presidency? What is the cost of one uniform? Out of the 6.5 billion Naira the presidency will be wasting this year, we are told that 5.3 billion Naira of it is for staff salaries. I knwo some states with a very high civil servants rates are paying as much as 4 billion Naira a month. How many staffs do we have in the presidency that is gulping some 5.3 bilion Naira annually as salaries? Too many questions begging for answer. Jonathan online supporters told us to be grateful to him for turning us to a nation of light as there is light in every corner of the country. I honestly think if there is light, giving the nature of our leaders it is supposed to start from them, but the office of the vice president will be spending some 12.7 milion Naira on GENERATOR in 2015. A nation with light does not need generator. This is another budget of slavery which will not take the Nigeria people any where. Oil price has fallen to 58 dollars as at yesterday and there are fears that the price might fall below. It is a national embarrassment that in the midst of harsh economic reality on ground those who styled themselves leaders are still wallowing in their wastefulness. Nigerians needs to take their destinies in their hand. Nigerians needs to make use of this GOD givern opportunity again by making their votes counts. THE DECISION WE TAKE TODAY WILL LIBERATE OR IMPRISON US TOMORROW. |
