My neighbor went to Osun State INEC office yesterday (4th of July, 2014) to claim her permanent voter’s card but to her surprise, she was told that she has collected the card. So she requested for signatory document showing her signature but she was again surprised to found only a fingerprint without signature.
Noticing that she has the temporary voter’s card with her, one official shout out to bring the temporary one and keep it somewhere but thank God the women was not as that easy and she reclaimed it back.
The woman then proceeds to a politician to report the scenario, so they both proceed to INEC office.
Surprisingly, some people were at INEC office to claim the permanent voter’s card but THEY CAN ONLY FOUND OUT THAT THEIR NAME HAS BEEN CLASSIFIED AS DEAD PEOPLE

The Vatican is deeply concerned over a 1500-year-old Bible which was found in Turkey and rejects the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Vatican authorities have called on the Turkish government to allow its experts to examine the content of the book, which was discovered and kept secret in Turkey in 2000.

Reports say the Turkish government has transferred the book to the Ethnography Museum of Ankara with a police escort.

Ankara said that the Bible had been snatched from a mob of smugglers in a Mediterranean region operation.

The book contains the Gospel of Barnabas, a disciple of Christ, and says that Jesus had not been crucified but ascended to heaven alive. St. Barnabas was an early Christian and is traditionally identified as the founder of the Cypriot Church.

It also says Jesus was not the son of God but a prophet who spoke the word of God, calling Apostle Paul “The Impostor.”

The text maintains a vision similar to Islam, contradicting the New Testament’s teachings of Christianity. The ancient book also foresees the coming of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

It is hand written in Syriac, a dialect of Aramaic, which is said to be the native language of Jesus Christ. Some experts and religious figures believe that the book is original, according to reports.

So from the above verse, A good pastor/christian must be able to:

1- DRIVE OUT DEMONS
2- SPEAK IN TONGUE
3- PICK UP SNAKES E.G. ANACONDA, COBRA, PYTHON ETC WITHOUT HARMING THEM
4- DRINK DEADLY POISON AND IT WILL NOT HURT THEM
5- LAY HAND ON SICK AND THEY WILL GET WELL

Any pastor or christian who is yet to posses all those five characteristics mentioned is not a good pastor/christian

RAUF AREGBESOLA PROMOTING ISLAMIC AGENDA- OSUN C A N[b][/b]

Religious issue in Nigeria is considered as a delicate and fragile one and people do not want to hand...le it without care. I see it as one of the aspects of the area of diversities like ethnics, ideologies and political parties. We cannot say it is more combustible than the anachronistic political entities, as it is periodically triggered, particularly during election in Nigeria. I don’t thus, see religion issue as sensitive as people take it, though this is one of the area of discuss that one need to exercise cautions before passing comments.

First and foremost I need to make some issues clear. We condemn the killing of Boko Haram in this country and we say loud and clear that their act is not sourced from Islam. If they are Muslims they must prioritize peaceful co-existence which is cardinal to the teachings of Islam. No place in Quran and Hadith enjoys killing of innocent soul.

It is thus horrendous drama for journalists to refer to a reactionary group or better terrorist groups as Islamist; we pray that this would not be proliferated any further. Not even during holy wars, Muslims are disallowed from burning down churches and synagogues (QURAN 40;22).

OSUN STATE BRANCH OF CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (C A N)

I am disillusioned by the recent press statement of the Christian Association of Nigeria (C A N), Osun State branch as in all indication they have turn to a political organization that does not cater for the national unity but to cause confusion and disunity in the State of Osun just like national body of Christian Association of Nigeria (C A N) which has always act as fuel to religious and tribal crisis in the country.

How do you establish the fact that Rauf Aregbesola want to Islamize Osun State when the Muslims were not in good term with his over-secularized disposition, to accusehim of Islamizing the state of Osun is a fallacious irritant. Aregbesola who has pronounced many statements that is questionable in Islamic creed, who has given supplementary recognition to the traditional worshipers in the State of Osun contrary to the principle of Islam. How is the man Islamizing the state of Osun?

The same Muslim of Osun state approached Rauf Aregbesola with the request that the state should allow the Muslim girls in the public school to use Hijab, the governor partly granted their request when he said Hijab would not be used in Christians own public schools in the state. Bear it in mind, the same schools are under the total control of government without reservation and the maintenance and salary is paid by the government.

The Muslims maintain the position that Muslims girls in school must be allowed to put on Hijab in school premises. Here! No one invite or enforce Hijab on the non-Muslims.

What is Hijab? It is a term use to describe a dressing code prescribed by Quran and Sunnah of prophet which is the source of rule/law for all Muslims in the world. Stricto senso, a true Muslim don’t have option than to dress in accordance to the prescription of Allah in Quran and Hadith. We can now say, Hijab is part of Islam and the Constitution of Nigeria guarantee the freedom of religion in chapter 4.

The concern Muslims of Osun State felt cheated as the Muslims girls are not allow to use Hijab in some public schools by the government of Osun state, they are very sure of the fact that this is an inalienable right of Muslims and the court must enforce it. Is it wrong for the concerned Muslims to have taken reasonable and lawful steps of exploring the court of law?

Some groups of people under the umbrella of Christian Association of Nigeria (C A N) went ahead to exhibit and celebrate what we call religion intolerance and share ignorant. In the press conference organized by C A N which was published in many media, it was upstretched that Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola was trying to Islamize Osun state. One wonders the level of reasoning of the spear headers of this horrendous celebration of share oblivious. The Administration of Rauf Aregbesola was sued by the Muslims for refusing to respect their fundamental right (freedom of religion) and some political tool under the disguise of C A N in Osun state went ahead to broadcast publicly that such a man who is seen by some Muslims including the writer as anti-Islam is trying to Islamize Osun State.

One expects such organization like C A N to be intellectually based and not descend so low to be used as political tools. Religion organization of this nature is supposed to be a bridge builder as any form of religion intolerance will not take them to any level.

My advice goes to Christians please if you are going to comment on this issue, try not to be selfish. Think of REDEEM, MFM, WINNERS and hundred of churches along EKO/IBADAN express way. Their activities disturb a whole economy of Nigeria for about THREE DAYS.
A church with the population of THREE imagine THREE people can shout from 10PM to 5AM(how do you think people around that area will feel talkless of bigger churches).
1) If any religion should be stopped from shouting, drumming, clapping and any thing that can disturb other neighbors am very sure the Christians will suffer more. cos without shouting, (ADVERTISEMENT) no church will ever grow

2) If all the religions are being Banned From Praying Outdoors, also Christians will suffer more. Doing so will reduces the churches and pastors income

Nigeria Ambassador to any country to me represent the the President of Nigerians in that particular country, they must make sure that no Nigerian is cheated nor treated anyhow by the citizens of that particular country; in a nut shell, we can say the welfare of Nigerians is to be taken care of. But surprise, most of them are just collecting our money without performing their main function and as a result of this, those white men have taken this for granted. Because they know the Nigerian embassy will never take any report serious so, some of them treat Nigerian anyhow. I have traveled out of the country any I have seen many cases like that. For example, a Nigerian was passing by, suddenly a white man just park beside him, wine down and shout "where is your tail, you look like a monkey" and to my surprise, the man cannot say anything and he explain that if he react to that, nothing good will come out of it. can you do that to white men even in Nigeria not to talk in their own country, have you ever think of white man arresting Nigerians in Nigeria with Nigerian Police simply because the Nigerian man ask for his right especially salary cases. I personally have experience similar case even worst than that and that time happen to be the first time I will travel out of the country, I reported the case to the embassy but nothing positive came out of it. Apart from the fact that the embassy are are headless to such things, if you see Nigerians in the foreign countries, one will pity them and pray not to be in such condition. Despite all these treatments, thousands of Nigerians wanted to leave the country to the white man's land, Nigerian women prefer prostituting abroad because of high level of poverty in our own country. As for me, I can't blame them because thousands of Nigerian graduate are on the street wondering here and there without job.
Please Nigerian government do something.

As for me o, if dialogue can resolve Niger/Delta problem, it can also resolve the so called Bokko Harram problem. Who are they? They may be fished out by the support of those america, uk or whatever but when? before that one could happen more life may go for it even the innocents (where two elephants fight, the grasses will suffer for it). For example no bombing before their leader was killed and our thinking was that killing their leader will stop them but we fuel the flame by so doing.

But for pastor Ayo to have said sanusi is looking for trouble, their is a point to note; may be he want another set of people in Christianity so that they can also act acting like boko haram, Because that is exactly the meaning of his statement "sanusi is looking for trouble" .
