Okay, so is it weird that Nigerians are now making mobile games. In the last few years, we’ve seen Aboki Run (The Nigerian Version Of Temple Run), we’ve seen Niger trooper, Ejo (the Naija version of Snake), Chike the Sky Trooper e.t.c. They are decent apps oo but do you think it is worthwhile that Nigerians are making Nigerian versions of apps that are already well known? Would You Download An app like Monkey post as opposed to Pro evolution soccer? Or are they best putting their efforts in other things?

Before you conclude, remember that the amount of Nigerian made apps have been on the rise in the last year. Who knows maybe we are getting close to creating our own Google or WhatsApp.

Anyway, let me hear your opinions.

You can learn baking, cakes or homemade bread. That is if you hv flare for baking. The amount is more than enough to start it in a big way. Equipment, training and raw materials.
But in the end it all boils down to what you have passion for, cause when things get tough in the biz it's your passion that'll be driving you.

How much does it cost, and how long you get it done.

If you are are average you are good to go with your chosen style of animation. Cuz you won't need to do much drawings. This style of animation involves more of manipulations than drawings so you could use the same drawing multiple times. You can team up with you friend to start the project I will recommend the tools below for the project.

1.A computer system with a at least 4gig RAM and at least 120gig memory.

2. A graphic tablet . there are many brands and types wacom products are the best but they are a bit pricey. You could get other equally good alternatives like huion, genius e.t.c. since your style of animation will not require much drawings you might not need a cintiq . just the normal pen/pad tablet will do. A cintiq is a product of wacom that allows you draw directly on the screen. You can get the tablets on Jumia and konga or at computer village(powa plaza) close to UBA if you stay close to lagos.

3. TOONBOOM or Adobe Flash( now Adobe Animate). Toonboom is more robust and cut out friendly but it is a bit difficult to learn. You will have to sacrifice time to view the tutorial. Flash on the other hand is very easy to learn but does not have some tools and tricks you will find on toon boom so the choice is yours to make. I personally prefer flash because if it simplicity but I love toon boom drawing tool. They feel more natural. Usually I do the ruff pass in flash and clean up in adobe illustrator.

These are the basic things you need for the 2D cut out animation. You will need other things like a sound editing software like adobe audition. And some other periphral gadgets , I am not a post production person just an animator. You could hire a movie editor to do this or just google some tutorials on the subject.

You abandoned this thread.... how did you go about your nylon business? ...I have been making plans on how to start up same business too...but don't know how to go about it....I only have space for the business as well as capital (hopefully enough) ...I just need someone to put me through..if possible traveling to meet the person one on one..want to start up the business in Imo or abia state.

Am sorry bro but some other things came up for me to engage in, i still have the nylon business in mind but after running and bringing to life the vision that came to me.
I do hope you find more info on nylon production, but I'll advise you go to onitsha and make all the necessary enquiry you need on the business.

You should be more honest with response if truly this is a line of business you understand.

When a business goes with LTD it means it is a Private Limited Liability Company with its distinct regime, requirements and legal obligations from a Business Name or a PLC (Public Limited Liability Company)

Offering a Service requires giving the best advice and not just saying you can do something.

@OP. You will be allowed to use Engineering, but not LTD if it's a Business Name you just want to register. Furthermore Engineering service strictly may require some show or proof of proficiency and registration with some body if it's a LTD you want to register. Not sure if it's also same for Business Name.

My brother pls don't call me dishonest person, i have not done any business with you to come to that conclusion. Am sure I did answer the OP question and tried to introduce my specialty to him.
