getting farm this time is a major problem. have spoken with more than ten farms but non hv eggs for sell. saw two that has but there prices are outrageous. small eggs 650, medium eggs 750, large 800, extra large 850.

though I hv a small farm I get eggs twice weekly but they only sell unsorted. and small are more in that one.

hv a meeting with a farm tomorrow, pray it will turn out in everyone favour.

Quite often I have meet a lot of Nigerians who are of the idea that egg is not good for regular consumption.
How true is this?

egg is good for all ages. both young and adults alike, the difference is in rate of consumption. but should be taken weekly.

I am in need of a farm that can be able to give me a eggs for supply in port Harcourt.

True talk bro... though the farm I get from gives me at 600 naira unsorted eggs, she told me that farm price now for small eggs is 650.

I'm a distributor in Kano. I buy my eggs from Ibadan.
They package it in cartons. Each cartons has 20 crates.
I sell in cartoons and crates. If you're in Kano and need eggs, PM me.

please can you link me up to the farm. is the price same as buying locally? are there eggs sorted? I would like to have link to such farm please.

Like I made mention earlier, building a data base of farms in Nigeria is inevitable.
It will help solve the challenge of always looking for a farm by new distributors. At the moment, I have a contact in Anambra and Edo states - can they be of any use to you?

For now they are too far from me. I would appreciate it if there are contacts from Uyo. though I have two farms I have in my database to visit there once I get mobile, which will be like next month. And also songhai farm is another place I'll visit once the vehicle comes.
But please if you know any confirmed farms in Imo, Abia, Uyo state I'll love to visit them and discuss with them.

started looking for customers today. I must say it's been very promising as most of whom I met were impressed and willing to buy from me, when there current stock gets low.
though had order for only 5 crates tomorrow and 5 crates on Thursday, I believe that next week will be explosive for me.

no you don't need to put any plastic. as a matter of fact they enjoy scrapping the concrete wall as they gain extra calcium from it.

just leave the way it is and mks sure it's well covered and well ventilated.

If you plan to buy 100 crates, make sure you must have gotten clients who will take 150 crates.

won't they be dissatisfied if I could not supply the extra 50

Blakkie, Pls how do I go about the first distribution. Do I get orders from customers first before buying from the farm or do I buy the eggs then look for customers.

I'll suggest you wait till rainy season starts before you start. it will be easier for you to kick off smoothly then than now.

If you are certain if the business then help me with same amount hour friend gave you to start up. I'll do same to others if I make profit from it.

Have you researched about the site owner. Am not doubting your testimony but I think you should google about the site and it's admin

I am happy that more people wants to venture into this business. however it is good to start at the beginning of rainy season so you will get to have a practical experience on the farm before the dry season comes in again.
