PoliticsRe: Nigeria Must Vote To Keep Either Yoruba Or Ibos & Let One Go. by ycat(op): 11:18am On Nov 04, 2025
I don’t think so, but this thread is not about that.
Gerhards:
It’s not greed but Islamization of Nigeria through jihadists, the problem we are facing today did not start today. The same ideology and plan because their mind Nigeria must be islamized and your people who are part of this particular religion are aiding them
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Must Vote To Keep Either Yoruba Or Ibos & Let One Go. by ycat(op): 11:15am On Nov 04, 2025
This is why the rest of Nigeria will do the voting.

God Almighty is my witness, I prefer to be voted out, my 2nd option is to stay with the rest of Nigeria as long as ibos are leaving.
Gerhards:
I wish you all the best but I can’t be in the same country with them

I’m for freedom of speech straight from heart the way people feel.
What tribe are you?
I’m about solution to every problem and no one should have to live with people they hate or hate them, there’s more to life. No human deserves to be surrounded by people you see as snakes.
Gerhards:
I could sense it from your comments, honestly I do not want to live with you guys in the same country even though I like your people and also married a Yoruba , I would have write the reason but I will get banned
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Must Vote To Keep Either Yoruba Or Ibos & Let One Go. by ycat(op): 11:03am On Nov 04, 2025
Even if we’re not one, we can manage to be in one country without daily war full of mischiefs and vendettas.
Gerhards:
Yoruba and Fulani are one 🤣😁
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Must Vote To Keep Either Yoruba Or Ibos & Let One Go. by ycat(op):
This is not the thread for that.
But, the short answer is, greed caused the 1966 war.
Gerhards:
What was the reason for the 1966 civil war? Are you a kid?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Must Vote To Keep Either Yoruba Or Ibos & Let One Go. by ycat(op): 10:52am On Nov 04, 2025

You haven’t asked, you’re just using it as a game.

Your reps have been proposing indigeneship bills, VAT, of once is Biafra.
Gerhards:
We have been saying it since 1966, so what’s your point? My people lost their lives over this issue

What happens after death does not matter in this context.
One of us must leave Nigeria, the environment is too unhealthy for human life.
Gerhards:
We can never be one, not even after death

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Must Vote To Keep Either Yoruba Or Ibos & Let One Go. by ycat(op): 10:33am On Nov 04, 2025
God bless you!

Not only not being one, but when it becomes too toxic and the hatred can be cut with knife, it’s time to separate.

Yoruba and ibos can no longer be in the same country.
chiagozien:
We are not One and will never be one.

Going our separate way is the best

You’re already in a panic mode without Nigerians responding.
Why is freedom scary to you people?
Justnation:
You are one of those enemies of Nigeria promoting hatred and disunity.

Nairaland isn't the right place to start the campaign. Talk to your respective representatives in the houses to draft the referendum bill. Nobody should be threatened to stay in a union they don't willingly want to.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Must Vote To Keep Either Yoruba Or Ibos & Let One Go. by ycat(op): 10:27am On Nov 04, 2025
No, you’re the enemy of Nigeria and that’s why you want to force 2 enemies to be together.
Anither563:
This is hate speech. Yoruba and Igbo are major stakeholders in the Nigerian project.

Anyone who loves Nigeria will not promote this kind of hatred.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Must Vote To Keep Either Yoruba Or Ibos & Let One Go. by ycat(op): 10:23am On Nov 04, 2025
It seems you’re scared and feverishly campaigning before the start.
Unlike you, we Yoruba will never campaign or remind anyone who we are, we let people follow their hearts and make their judgement based on their 100 years experience with both sides.
PoliticsNigeria Must Vote To Keep Either Yoruba Or Ibos & Let One Go. by ycat(op): 10:15am On Nov 04, 2025
Rather than break Nigeria into pieces, why not let other Nigerians vote to let either Yoruba or ibos to leave Nigeria, so there can be peace?

I’m ready to manage other Nigerians, but Ibos, hell no!

What do you guys think?
PoliticsRe: Genocide: Why Nigerians Should Support Trump – Adamu Garba by ycat: 9:16am On Nov 04, 2025
The only issue I take with Trump is how he said it. Other than that, everything is fine.

Trump wants to help kill the terrorists and president Tinubu replied with hell yes come on in. So what’s the problem and why are some people sobbing over the good news of getting rid of criminals? The people against this are the problem and probably the people who make money from the insecurities.

You can’t show where president Tinubu threatened to invade Niger, but chose to insult yo mama instead that she’s brainless, what a child!

Still waiting on where president Tinubu threatened to invade Niger if you can finally show it.

PoliticsRe: US Must Secure Tinubu's Approval For Military Action In Nigeria - Bwala by ycat: 8:55am On Nov 04, 2025
True, but the world sees Nigeria as a war-torn country, we just need to hurry up and break up. A divided country is a weak country. Nigeria is not only divided, it’s broken and it looks like a jungle.
Why is the US not threatening to invade Ghana?
We need to stop pretending, Nigeria is dead and should be laid to rest.
Horus:
Only a very weak nation will voluntarily consent to foreign military intervention. In the contrary, a strong sovereign nation will never allow another foreign nation to intervene militarily in its own country, as this is viewed as a violation of its sovereignty and a fundamental breach of international law. The principle of non-intervention in the domestic affairs of sovereign states is a cornerstone of the UN Charter.

Principle of Non-Intervention: Article 2(4) of the UN Charter prohibits the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, and Article 2(7) generally prevents the UN from intervening in matters of domestic jurisdiction.
PoliticsRe: US Must Secure Tinubu's Approval For Military Action In Nigeria - Bwala by ycat: 8:43am On Nov 04, 2025
No, president Tinubu responded to Trump that his help is welcome.
It’s now up to Trump to show up or not, he already knows that Nigerian army can’t do the job.
m4una:
Very good, Mr President should immediately be able declare no flight zone in our airspace and deploy our defense system accordingly
PoliticsRe: US Must Secure Tinubu's Approval For Military Action In Nigeria - Bwala by ycat: 8:39am On Nov 04, 2025
These people have lost their purpose on earth and have nothing to live for.
All they have left is to shadow, envy, hate and be spoilers to others.
WizardOfNG:
So, according to you, even Nigerian security authority were never consulted and did not know "until it was done"?

You guys, because of prejudice against your fellow Nigerians, inferiority complex over your African origin and self-hatred related to your black skin, you deem inferior to Oyinbo, keep making fools of yourselves.

What does the bolded below, an excerpt from the link you supplied, indicate other than the fact Nigeria assisted and approved the USA to enter our nation and handle their business?

Or are we to now believe "and our diplomatic efforts" meant USA negotiated with Russia, South Africa or Ghana to enter our nation while excluding our authorities?
PoliticsRe: US Must Secure Tinubu's Approval For Military Action In Nigeria - Bwala by ycat: 8:31am On Nov 04, 2025
Show where president Tinubu talked about invading Niger or go and bury your head in shame for lying your head off your neck to make a useless point. You people have gone mad, one can only hope you don’t run naked into the market.
What has private citizen Tinubu got to do with Obama, if at all Obama did anything in 2014?
See ehn! Trump maybe crazy but not certain way crazy. You’re not smart enough to know that even Trump has dialed back the rhetoric and he’s no longer saying “Christians genocide” he’s now saying “record number” which is still not true, because people have told him it’s not the case.
Racoon:
Not asking the US to do that, but did Tinubu did likewise before asking Nigerian troops to prepared for war in Niger Republic without the Nigerian Senate or ECOWAS approval?

Did Tinubu and his evil clique got permission from Nigerians before they went to ask for the Obama-led US govt to intervene in effecting change in Nigeria in 2014?

Wake up, ok!

President Tinubu needs the Trump’s assistance to get rid of terrorists, he has no reason to beg anyone.

In a sane country Tinubu shouldn’t meet with anyone other than Trump himself, but he’s at war at home unlike none other, and should meet with even the White House janitors if he serves his agenda, at least we the people will say he tried.

Trump doesn’t need a level right now, he’s on a mission. Rolling in mud is part of that, the outcome is all that matters.

We know the tribe that is behind it all, I just hope it’s worth it to you in the end because this is a journey.
Dalohad:
LOL...your Tinubu has decided to run to the USA to beg for mercy, Trump has delegated a lowly assistant to the VP of the USA to meet with him.. grin

Tinubu no level.. cheesy

The opposition has written to Trump to tell him the conditions that Tinubu must meet.

What he did in 2015 has now come back to haunt him.. grin

PoliticsRe: Is President Trump Snubbing Tinubu By Delegating JD Vance? - Aniagolu by ycat: 2:10am On Nov 04, 2025
The normal thing would have been for him to not go at all, but since president Tinubu is a war time president, and all is fair in war, even if it’s the chief of staff that meets him. As long as he wins in the end and reaches his agenda goals.
