The people asking for action themselves don’t know how the govt should act, they just talk. Nigeria has been acting in the wrong direction. The terrorists can never be defeated without a major war and damage. The terrain, compromised military and the ideology behind the whole thing is why they can’t easily be defeated. Even Trump knows it will take a lot for even the US military to tackle, they will have to level certain areas well beyond Nigeria’s border and stay on it for a while.

What needs to be done is at least a return to regional govt where every region is responsible for their affairs, and the people involved themselves will figure it out when they see the damage terrorism is doing to them. It’s easy to hide under Nigeria right now as a unitary system and that’s what is wrong with Nigeria.
