Politics › Re: Alleged Christian Genocide: How Buhari Stood Up To Trump At White House by ycat: 2:00am On Nov 04, 2025 |
1. Buhari didn’t have Nigerian clergymen in Washington DC screaming Christians genocide. 2. Buhari didn’t have thousands of Nigerians tagging Trump on social media to refuse to meet with him. 3. Buhari also didn’t have enemies like Tinubu to the extent of burning Lagos down with endsars just to stop him from becoming president. 4. Buhari didn’t have a major tribe dedicated to his destruction. 5. Buhari didn’t have a major tribe collect donation from their people all over the one to lobby Washington DC reps. 6. Buhari’s people are feared even by the most vicious criminals. |

His performance is all you need to look at without your tribal glasses and you will see it clearly. This president has no money to share, so he won’t be liked by the usual criminals. President Tinubu is a visionary leader that saved Nigeria from the collapse of 2023, if you can’t thank him because he’s Yoruba, then shut the front door and stop making things up. Jaga9ja: and the only reason why it is "the best president" according to you is because it is from your tribe.
Only a part of the west or few here and there shares this notion, because of political favors and alignment, which renders your submission false. |

You’re just living out your fear and lying to justify what you don’t believe. President Tinubu is the best president Nigeria has ever had, the only reason you won’t admit is tribalism that has blinded you, but that’s ok, it won’t affect our great president. Jaga9ja: Of course I know that it changes nothing, else, it would have changed many years ago.
But it doesn't make it false either.
You are a citizen who wants to cover the atrocious activities of your government because maybe they are from your tribe or region.
I am a citizen who wants the best for my country whether they are from my region or not.
I can only hope, nothing else I can do than talk. |

If you’re not delusional in addition to hot dementation, you won’t be comparing something administrative that the president can do by himself and something force that he relies on the military to carry out. You must have been under your wife’s wrapper when he offered them state police. Who died and willed you sensibility and logic? Egba mi o. You’re just trying to play a role you will never fit in 100 lifetimes. Outthemudbyvoke: He could authoritatively remove an elected governor without offering a choice but then when it comes to security of lives and properties "he offers"
You must be delusional to think you can insult the sensibility of me and other logical thinking Nigerians |

Whether you like to divide or not, it’s inevitable and we’re closer than ever. So you better get ready and stop thinking it’s a joke, you will go back to your region, it’s the only way. Nigeria is unsustainable. tpain121: oh, you don’t want to divide, but you keep telling igbos to go back to their region, you keep destroying their property and businesses in Lagos. 🤡 |

Just get ready to cry more. Again you will say you didn’t ask for this much. Non Christians are human too and don’t deserve to die. We’re waiting for your savior, just don’t come back to cry here. The moment you refused the state police, it shows you want to play politics with your lives. Just wait for it. Outthemudbyvoke: Quit the tears!!! You all did nothing about it. A country where Christian villages are sacked and murdered en masse and not even a press release showing empathy from the president. At least Jonathan was known for visiting the crime scene in a matter of hours. Your nonchalant president and governors are all complicit in this genocides and days of reckoning are fast approaching. Deal with that |

If America doesn’t come after that announcement, the middle belt will be pounced on by the terrorists. And if America doesn’t get the job done all the way through, then Trump will lose face. So that’s how I know the division of Nigeria is very much on the table. Truvelisback: They should please act fast, I can't wait to see their actions. |

Nigeria is still a sovereign nation to the US though Nigeria has no army. It doesn’t matter who they are, as long as they kill and make life hell for other people, they deserve to be wiped out. But what we’re saying is, if we can skip the bombing part since many of the terrorists live among civilian populations, and we can just go straight to a secession table, so the middle belt can have their nation and the north can then do what they want with their terrorists. jayce232: What is sovereign about a nation that can't protect her population from Islamic extremists? Who are the cause the insecurity?? Are the bandits & terrorists not Islamic extremists?? |

Keep hating jare, that’s your problem. The guy is looking at the whole thing with normal human mind, he doesn’t know that some of you have reached the dead end and have nothing to lose. snowball11: You want Nigerians to reconsider their hatred for your president after all he has done to the rest of the region? People started asking questions if it was only the SW people that are Nigerians? Truly, the APC as a party was originally designed to erase the last love shared by the regions of the country!
I'm not completely in support of the US coming into Nigeria uninvited, but as the saying goes: Desperate situations call for desperate actions!
Let us see how this will end! |

I feel sorry for the north as the US plan to go after the terrorists will affect innocent people including the Christians. But at the same time, the Nigerian Army are a no match for the terrorists that have made life a hell for people. So where do we draw the line?
I would have loved for Nigerians to be honest, call the problem what it is ETHNOCENTRIC and appeal to the US to hold their bombs and just help us to separate the country, so we can all get our independent nations peacefully. |

Of course their hate for Yoruba that’s transferred to president Tinubu won’t let them see beyond their nose. But they will be disappointed at the results they will get since Trump won’t be coming for the reason they think and the moment they hear the division plan for Nigeria, they’ll start biting their fingers. hafeeanubasy: So,Its a thief that will fix your door for you. Is Trump concerned about the gun violence and economic recession currently going on in USA,has any country poke nose into that.
Erase your hatred for Tinubu and think deep
Whoever thinks this is just about fighting for Christians has avery poor knowledge of international politics.
TINUBU has refused to be this guy puppet. He has rejected so many condescending offers and theg are not really comfortable with it
Christian genocides is just a decoy.Truely,Nigeria is battling against insecurity which affects both Muslims and Christians just like US herself with their epidemic gun violence.Life of Muslims also matter
Christian genocide is just a decoy to punish Nigerian government for rejecting some of their condescending proposals I wish some Nigerians resist the hatred for Tinubu from beclouding their judgement. If Ibrahim Taore is the one in eyes of the storm.Their reaction will have been different |

Easier said than done! The govt can’t be on its toe more than it’s been. Dealing with terrorism is not a joke even for a capable army let alone Nigerian army you all said is compromised and infiltrated with terrorists. Nigeria has no army for real and getting rid of terrorists is just the beginning, division of Nigeria is what you’re looking at. This country can’t continue like this. LibertyRep: I agree. Something has to be done to put the government on her toes. The lukewarm and seemingly helpless attitude they have demonstrated towards battling insecurities baffling. The government should feel the heat, and they too should turn the heat on the terrorists. |

It sounds bad but something has to be done about the killings that have caused farmers their livelihood and other issues. But Trump is not crazy, the yapping only ends at that, he will have to work with president Tinubu. It will actually lead to the division of the country since it’s the only way cases like this one have ended. LibertyRep: Action in Nigeria as how? Invade a sovereign nation?
I think this genocide claim is becoming a subterfuge for something sinister.
Assist Nigeria to tackle this insecurity and not take action uninvited. |
