That your dream will never happen in Nigeria. You can’t build a skyscraper on a bungalow foundation, the only thing that will help Nigeria is separation or regional govt. We are too different to have a common front and we don’t want the same thing. You can’t have 3 or more captains operating a ship at the same time, so we must return to the drawing board. If president Tinubu with all the knowledge and track record of running a great govt could struggle to straighten Nigeria, imagine what an imbecilic fool like Peter Obi would have done, the idiott would simply have sold Nigeria to China and gone home to Akpu. Thank God for Tinubu, at least we are slowly getting out of the ditch the past administration put us in. With what we have now, Yoruba need US military base for protection so we can stand up without fear and take charge of our destiny. nairalanda1: |

I believe it’s true, though I don’t hang around people who talk about other people because I know they will talk about me too. I believe you though because one day I walked with my sister to an African store where the first thing we heard was “one man sleeping with another man’s wife” they didn’t know that we understand the language. They were speechless when my sister asked for the price of yam in their language. Talking about people who haven’t done anything to you is insecurity. They use topics about others to cover up the plenty subjects on their own lives, they need to put other people down to feel better about who they are. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Good to know that they are just 5%. As long as you keep eyes on them you will be fine. As far as I’m concerned, the Dutch are the only problem South Africa has and it seems you are hot on their heels, unlike Nigeria with bazillion problems from being brainwashed that English is better than their own language, not to talk about hate among tribes. Ghana has a local language as the official language but Nigeria can’t because of hate. A country where your children are not allowed to learn their own history, is that even a country? Don’t even bother yourself, South Africa has so much on Nigeria. zhike: 1 Like |
Politics / Why We Must Allow US Military Base In Yorubaland by ycat: 3:12pm On May 09 |
Yorubaland is surrounded by people who hate us and want to kill us and take over our land. Our people are maimed and killed for going to farm. Yoruba are the No.1 victims of police and all kind of brutalities in Nigeria, all by design. People can’t walk freely without getting kidnapped. Nigerian has been fighting bokoharam as long as I can remember with no success and the same bokoharam are recruited in the Nigerian army. Nigeria is already at war and we Yoruba are the only ones always depicted as children among Nigerian tribes in drawings because we act like kids and the least prepared for what’s coming. We need a strong arm of the US, though Americans have their own problem but not to the level of the kind of threat Yoruba face in Nigeria where we are slaves. President Tinubu was destroyed outside Nigeria just because he’s a Yoruba man. With their security, Yoruba can now exercise our God-given freedom without fear of Nigerian soldiers descending on us and our Obas can step into their power and get out from under the shadow of the govt. We need help to face what is ahead. This is an opportunity of a lifetime and the greatest crime president Tinubu would commit against Yoruba is not to allow this opportunity. If we are attacked for allowing the US base, it’s a quick way to get to where we are going. A dangerous freedom is better than peaceful slavery. These are just a few of the countries with US military bases for protection. United Kingdom Japan Germany Italy Korea 5 Likes 1 Share |

Serious discussion? Do you even know what those are? I feel like you are just throwing words around and reading something off your wall and posting it here. If you really know what you posted is, you will know that president Tinubu has taken those head on. I think you just want to criticize him for the sake of it and not on his performance, yes no leader is perfect but given the situation Nigeria was in, president Tinubu has over performed. Fujiyama: |
Politics / Re: QatarEnergy Not Drawn To Nigeria Despite Tinubu Visit by ycat: 4:27am On May 08 |
See ehn! If it’s easy, Nigeria would have been fixed long time ago when there was money and not left broke and penniless before president Tinubu. He’s the only politician with what it takes and has shown us in the past, so if he can’t do it, then bid Nigeria farewell. President Tinubu has done better than anyone in the condition the country was in, Nigeria was literally parked in a ditch when he took office and in debts to its eyeballs. If the presidents who met tens of $billions in the federation and excess crude accounts couldn’t do anything, give credit to a man who is pinching $millions to run the country. If it were OLODO Peter Obi, you would have been using ashes to make Akpu by now, so put your pain of losing election aside and face fact. President Tinubu is the best for the job and we thank God for bringing him in for such a time as this to manage what would have been a catastrophe if it was the alternative rat. Fujiyama: |

Story! If you have ports like ours, you won’t be saying it, we will be seeing it. Stop saying it, show me! There’s a reason they were never viable in the first place. You will still have to come through Yoruba ports and then transfer to barges to proceed to your glorified river ports. Lagos to Ado Ekiti and everything between is all mine as a Yoruba person, so it’s none of your business where I claim. You have a region too and we don’t care which part you of it you claim because your region adds no value to me. The only reason you are fixated on Yoruba is because we are your lifeline. Yoruba’s money is what Nigeria is run on and that’s why none of you wants to leave Nigeria. Btw, Lagos and Ogun are my states. An unadulterated, unfooled around-with ALL Yoruba blood, SWAAG! idahme: |

Politics / Re: Nigerians Are Brainwashed According To South Africans by ycat: 3:22am On May 08 |
Nothing but FACTS and that’s why Nigeria will NEVER work! South Africa too has a big problem hanging on its head with how they are handling the Dutch among them. I know some will say they are just 20%, but it won’t take 20 years to neuter the indigenous population, kill off a generation and increase births among themselves. They are going to make their white only town a country, so they will be able to buy enough weapons to destroy South Africans, I still don’t understand how they allow the descendants of colonialists to stay and carved a city that will soon be a country for themselves. These people should never be called whites or South Africans because they are not, they are Dutch and that’s what should stick on them. Now that South Africans are in charge of the country, why are the Dutch still holding on to the land they stole? They need to take the land back and lease to them renewable every 5 years, including that of Irano or whatever their white only city is called. |

Properties / Re: 80% Of Lekki Buildings Have No Approval, Says LASG by ycat: 11:56pm On May 06 |
No land for sale in Lekki area since 1994 or 1996 according to a reliable source. Most land were sold before then but not allocated. Lands purchased after were resold with fake documents. The original buyers hold the real govt receipts. I remember some acres of land given to my maternal grandma through the ministry of agriculture in Badagry years ago. I knew of it when some uncles and aunts were fighting over who should get more of the land for paying for it. The land was given to my grandma but it was her children that paid after maybe 25 years later. I don’t know how that worked or if grandma made down payment or anything like that, but it almost caused a big problem in the family. |

If he doesn’t go out as much, you will still be here to say he doesn’t go out. Politics / Re: QatarEnergy Not Drawn To Nigeria Despite Tinubu Visit by ycat: 7:36pm On May 02 |
Not a big deal. People don’t invest in other countries if they are not going to get anything out of it. Trump forced Korea and Japan to build more assembly plants because he had a card over them. Nigeria has nothing to use, president Tinubu is just doing the old fashion fate trips to see what he can get during this economic recovery. This means though that Qatar won’t be needing a favor from Nigeria anytime soon including in UN and on Israel and Palestine issue. Welcome to the real world of politics, I love president Tinubu style of politicking and how he quickly got this out of the way, he can now be neutral of whatever stunt the UN pulls on the war in Jerusalem. |

I don’t know why bunch of mumu are the first on my post. Not a single person has said why CIA does not own Nairaland and why it can’t be, everyone is braindead and just walking zombie. If you know what cia is, you will know that they are interested in a place like this as a tool, they understand the power of communication and its reach. CIA owns Facebook, Instagram, most newspapers and Television stations. Through Nairaland’s eyes they can see Nigeria well and act. |

No jokes here! Nah! I don’t like lion, I prefer CAT = EKUN When Yoruba say ‘Ekun’ it echos and vibrates, same way when English speakers say ‘Go Tiger’ Lion = Kiniun in Yoruba doesn’t have the same effect, though it has a great side to it. helinues: |
Foreign Affairs / Will People Stay Back Home And Make It Great? by ycat: 6:35pm On May 02 |
People will now think twice before asking for asylum in UK. I expect other European countries to follow suit, even Canada and the US. Maybe we can then shift our focus to Nigeria and Africa. We are ready to leave America but Nigeria is not ready even when all we need are electricity and security. We can do without electricity but can’t do without security. Regulated guns in the hands of people who have no record of violence will make it a safe place and people will move back home. People who have anger problems and can’t keep their hands to themselves should never be allowed to own guns. If you have ever slapped anyone, you shouldn’t be allowed to hold guns. Yorubaland is where our hearts are and I wish we have local police to add extra protection to the communities. After weighing both, the verdict is, the US is still much safer than Nigeria if you are already outside Nigeria. |

Or at least has a huge stake in it but still allows Seun to front? The thought just kept coming back each time I suppressed it. Every huge topic I post is yanked before it reaches the board. This clown of American has too much money to know what to do with it, with a bottomless pit budget available to them, all you need is name your price. My fears is, Seun could have gone too low with anything less than $1 billion. Hey! Not too late to let them know that you want to renegotiate the deal, let them know that they cheated you and they either up it to at least $1billion or you are walking. And if they try to be salty, you should already have recordings of everything that transpired in 15 locations and different people that will be playing simultaneously. Yoruba say “Eni to ma ba Esu jeun, sibi e a gun” meaning, if you want to eat with the devil, you must have a long spoon. What happened to Nairaland a few months ago could have been them trying to use that to bargain for something, don’t ever put anything past the clowns of America. |

Good move on present Tinubu’s part, for me I would not give a penny. Govt compensates based on original invoices. Dollar is a foreign currency in Nigeria. If he get N200m sef which is more than what he invested in there, let him not catch it with his teeth. I don’t know who y’all think you can scam. Curious345: |
