Politics / Re: It’s Treasonable To Deploy Nigerian Army To Niger Without Senate Approval — MBF by ycat: 1:55am On Aug 13, 2023
These ones just woke up after ecowas has come out and said they are not going to war.

I thought they are being killed in the middle belt? And rather than take up placards and block the streets to demand for autonomy to better protect themselves now that they have a lightning rod president, they too have jumped on the bandwagon to chase shadow just because they see a low hanging fruit.

Niger right now is more peaceful than Middle Belt and this is what they use their energy on.

Sore loser, just because your candidate lost does not mean president Tinubu didn't win the election. He won and there's nothing you can do about it.

The Ecowas chairman did not win the election in his own country.

Instability from coup can affect 'economic' in west Africa, so the two are not mutually exclusive.

ECOWAS stands for Economic community of west africa states.
they should focus more on the economy aspect and leave politics alone

Igbos dominate police and that's why we can't trust them to do the right thing. The same reason igbo police are the armed robbers terrorizing Yorubaland.

This is how you hold people accountable.

Let them go and present their evidence in court or pay up to the last clothes on their backs.

I hope they have houses they can sell to pay for damages. Hire good investigators to dig for hidden assets too

Go and rest, Niger is done and dusted.
Nazgul:
I don't understand why Tinubu is carrying this Niger junta matter on his head like firewood.

Niger isn't the first west African country to experience a coup in the last 5 years and would certainly not be the last.

The reality here is that Nigeria doesn't have the resources to sustain a war.

War is expensive. Hitler lost WW2 cos he invaded the Solvet Union and as his war with the Solvet Union prolonged, he couldn't afford to feed and supply his over 3m German soldiers fighting on the Eastern from. Most German soldiers in starlingard starved to death. Many ran out of ammunition and surrendered cos they could not be supplied.

If Tinubu sends 10,000 soldiers to Niger. He shouldn know that feeding 10,000 soldiers for just 1 month, replenishing exhausted ammunition, artillery, tanks, fuel for the armoured divisions, magazines, and you'll still pay their salaries, medications...etc. You'll agree with me that the expenses would run into billions of naira.

If the war escalates to like 6-8 months, Nigeria wouldn't be able to sustain itself cos it would have exhausted all it's finances on the war.

And the west who are urging him to go on wouldn't support him with a penny. So we would finish our resources on a war that isn't our business, loose thousands of service men, become dead broke...and for what, to please the west?

Somebody should talk sense inside that man's head.

Unlike your useless leaders, president Tinubu can walk and chew gum at the same time and won't even spend up to 30 minutes on Niger issue.

Other African countries presidents have priorities and targets that should be met due to the promises they made to their citizens

And you expect them to leave the needed basic humans needs by her citizens to embark on a useless war

Unlike Tinubu that had no manisesfo, never attended a debate to let us know his plans for us, never told us how he would tackle our needs

Only thing that drug lord was concerned was it is his turn

No war but this is the opportunity for ecowas to split into 2.

Let coup countries be on one side, democratic countries on the other side. They all are still ecowases, just different mission.

Rules have to mean something in every organization.

President Tinubu has absolutely nothing to do with Niger's problem, you are just starting to talk and 'Tinubu' is probably your first word.

I didn't read past your first line or trash.
HNICEARTH:

Who is responsible for all these? Tinubu.

The military in Niger republic carried out a coup, why not let them be? Must you interfare in their internal affairs.
Tinubu in trying to please the west wants to start up a war with his closest neighbor, you dont do that. Nobody brings war to his house.

Let them be. Act like you dont know what's happening, and everything will evaporate. If they want to be ruled by the military, then let it be. It's their call, the citizens will be the ones to face the consequences of military rule.

Nigeria on it's own already have alot on her hands. USD at 950, no stable electricity, bandits/bokoharam/unknown gunmen/, corruption, flawed electoral system, energy crisis, no working refinery...why not fix that? Why so much attention on niger and neglecting the home front?🤷🏿‍♂️

Mali didn't happen under president Tinubu, so it has nothing to do with him.
Sorry I don't reasd trash past first line.

HNICEARTH:

Mali is a member of ECOWAS, and they had a coup and ECOWAS did not go to war.
Burkina faso was a member of ECOWAS, the military had a coup, and ECOWAS did not go to war.
From your response, I know you dont read, you dont follow news so you wouldnt know all these.
If these other countries had coup and ECOWAS did not go to war, so why is Niger's coup so special?

Ode, your Tinubu is being used as a pawn to fight a proxy war. France are only concerned about the uranium they get from Niger, while the US is concerned about their base. These guys want your Tinubu to fight their war in exchange for his government to be recognised by the west. And here you are yapping and capping nonsense.

If ECOWAS was serious about coup plotters, then the war should have started from mali and Burkina faso before considering niger.

If importation is the reason USD went high, so what's stopping him from fixing refinery, fixing energy crisis, reducing poverty, fixing insecurity, fixing unstable power supply? What's stopping him from taking these other ones head on?

You are wanking all over importation and think you sound so intelligent. Every nation on earth imports.
Was Nigeria not importing during the PDP when USD was at 215? What changed now?
Was Nigeria not importing 3 months ago when buhari was in power and official rate of USD was at 495, so what changed now?

Your Tinubu came in and floated the naira and everything crashed. A policy borne out of quackery. Trial and error economics. over bloated ego wont allow them to revert to status quo.
Every nation on earth defends its money. You dont allow your currency to be left at the mercy of speculators or determined by forces of demand and supply. The only nation that dont defend its currency is the US.

I hope you've learnt a thing or two. Now run along and go play elsewhere. I've got stuff to handle bwoy

Politics / Rest Bloodthirsty Zombies. No War! by ycat: 8:28pm On Aug 12, 2023
Braindead zombies can now rest! NO WAR!!!

I don't know how ecowas or president Tinubu going to war in Niger makes sense to anyone when your soldiers can't defeat Bokoharam and Nigeria is too fractured for a common front. If not for the fact that they have been overly brainwashed and can't think properly. The tough talks is a diplomatic tool and has gotten the coupists jolted to possibilities, how they can be removed too and made to reveal plan to to kill a hostage. Ecowas is now done with Niger and president Tinubu's job with Niger too is done if all sanctions have been applied.

President Tinubu has no fault in any of these, he has a duty as ecowas chairman to participate in the meeting. He also had to take a side as he did and no one else can tell him how to run his govt as long as he's not breaking any law.

I said it that ecowas will not invade Niger and that sanctions and more sanctions are the only thing but because of their hatred for president Tinubu they are running mad over war that will only be fought in their lives and families. Nigeria will even go to war within Nigeria before going to war in Niger. Only the president set diplomacy and tough talks are a part of it. They just want to muscle president Tinubu out of his powers and policies which will only lead to the end of Nigeria.

These cruel animals also used their fraud to attach the statement one frustrated Mai Sule made about Ivory Coast president that "rigging is the same as coup" because he offered 1000 soldiers to Ecowas to someone else. Every president that does not do what these enemies of progress want is accused of rigging elections when they are the ones guilty of rigging elections.

Their target is really the sanctions, they don't want the sanctions to stay but I trust president Tinubu to keep it in place and draw the RED LINE for the people that want to make his administration a lightning rod. THE SANCTIONS ARE THERE TO STAY!!

Ecowas must be divided immediately to save it from a total collpse, it's currently not working and its purpose is defeated.

If there will be war it will be between Russia backed coupists and West backed militants, it will not have anything to do with ecowas or president Tinubu, every leader knows this but just playing to the gallery to heat up the polity.

It's over, all the purveyors of bad news can now go and rest.

How is president Tinubu holding them and interfering in their affairs again?

Niger does not get to dictate how a neighbor responds to what they see and feel. Also, Niger is a signatory to ecowas and has to be hold to account. I know this is hard for lawless people like you to understand, but it's just the way it is.

You don't have dollars, you import everything and expect dollar not to go over the roof, maube you should take your lazy tail of the internet to go and learn how money works.

Leave president Tinubu alone, he's performing his duty. He didn't organize the coup, so he isn't responsible for the state of Niger or its wellbeing.

Asiwaju should partner with Putin and Xi and become a dictator.

If Asiwaju ever has an interest in becoming a life long dictator, he should buy into China and Russia. Those countries are good with dictatorship.
