musa234: I'm certain there'll be a large police contagion given the high levels of displeasure with Nigerians. Everyone in SA is predicting this thing is gonna turn violent. Nigerians should really stay in their homes tomorrow, but then again it's only the launch of the campaign, they want Nigerians completely out. |

The hashtag #23SeptemberCleanSA is trending on Twitter on Tuesday in South Africa, with the PutSouthAfricansFirst movement plans to march to the Nigerian and Zimbabwean embassies on Wednesday to demand that foreign nationals be deported. The group behind the call to protest has been identified as having been largely responsible for a spike in xenophobic rhetoric being shared on social media over the last few months. They said that the following issues will be raised in their list of demands, and said that they want to “deport the immigrants”. - Human trafficking and sex slavery syndicates; - Railway infrastructure looting; - Drug peddling; - Violent crimes including the scourge of farm murders; - Hijacking buildings and houses for criminal purposes. The Nigerian Union SA (Nusa) president Adetola Olubajo said that the organisation has called for Nigerians to steer clear of the unpredictable protesters, and said that xenophobia has no place in South Africa. "We support fighting crime. But then I see the march only targets one set of people. You can’t paint everyone with the same brush. I don’t think [protesters] are genuine in saying they are against crime if they only march against Nigerians.” “We’ve issued a warning to Nigerians to give the protesters space – there is potential some miscreants could use the march as an excuse to attack,” he said. 2 Likes 1 Share

Skynet45: This thread is about Victoria Island, so I'm showing you the equivalent of it in SA. So why you coming back with shacks? Only 14% of SA housing is informal settlements, while 86% live in proper housing. So SA is definitely not a slum. Come back with similar figures for Nigeria and let's compare. 1 Like

Politics / SA Planning Massive March To Nigerian Embassy On Sept 23 by YEBOmadiba: 2:01pm On Sep 13, 2020 |
An online campaign is gaining momentum in South Africa to march to the Nigerian High Commission in Pretoria, South Africa on Tuesday, 23 September 2020, and has gained thousands of Likes on Twitter and other social media platforms. The hashtag 'Hillbrow' has been trending for the past 24 hours. As its main objective the campaign seeks to stop an end to what they say is massive and unmanageable Nigerian criminality in the country, especially in Nigerian dominated towns of Hillbrow and Kempton Park in Johannesburg, as well as Sunnyside in the capital Pretoria. This coming week South Africa is expected to loosen its tough lockdown to the lowest level 1 as coronavirus numbers have stabilised and are now on the decline. The campaign seeks to take advantage of this as large crowds will once again be permitted, hence the date to march to the High Commission in less than a fortnight from now. Meanwhile, some Nigerian residents living in these areas have vowed not to be intimidated in an online video below. A crowd is heard urging South Africans to come as they are ready for them. https://twitter.com/Ngoasheng247/status/1305072375554363392?s=20 1 Like 2 Shares

Vyzz: No it doesn't mean I'm xenophobic, I'm just telling it like it is. Was I xenophobic when I admitted SA has a rape problem? But when I speak about Nigerian problems I'm xenophobic? Get some balls my man. |

Vyzz: What excuse did I make? We have a serious male on female rape crisis in SA that everyone knows about but definitely not female on male rape. So wake up if you want to debate me. I hope I've skooled you on accountability. Now man up to your kidnapping crisis that you have also exported to Ghana and SA. It's no coincidence that the human trafficking and sex trade is dominated by Nigerians in SA. Kidnapping fits in perfectly into that eco-system. |

Vyzz: Honestly, this is not common and you know it - women kidnapping and gang raping men in SA. As for Nigeria you know the truth and won't admit - it makes international headlines all the time. So please, let's not waste each others time and energy on the obvious. |
