1. Bearing your maiden name won'taffect the whole process. Am using mine for ECA and IELTS. Infact my wish is to go to Canny and effect my change of name. 2. The only docs you'll need is your marriage certificate and Newspaper publication or affidavit for change of name. Its at the point when you're submitting your documents to proof your marital status. Mamabigboy: Good evening all. I trust we are doing fine. As I still bear my maiden name as at the time of wes and ielts, will this not affect the whole process? At what point will my change of name doc be required? Thank you. |

Evaluate your M.sc alone...that would be cheaper and faster. Plus you ll avoid all the WAEC bouhaha. Joast13: A happy new month to everyone here. I just decided to commence my EE journey and I need answers to some questions. I have a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation (occupational therapy) from Nigeria and a Master of science (occupational therapy) from South Africa.
For now, my query is this: if I am evaluating a master's degree (from South Africa), do I still need to send my Bachelor's degree certificate and transcript (from Obafemi Awolowo University) with WAEC certificate to WES for ECA?
Also, I would appreciate if anyone could furnish me with the email address of WES as I couldn't get it on their website.
Thanks in advance |

Your perseverance has paid off...Congratss May Canny favour you and yours truly. Not a good story teller indeed nat138: Lol @ladymarshall just saw your mention. So full details below. Forgive me in advance, I am not a good story teller.
my final thoughts, keep busy while waiting. Don't put your life on hold, keep moving. I have changed jobs and moved cities in the course of this process, I know it is easier said than done for most people. Also be straight forward, keep your application simple. This thread is a goldmine and I tell people that if I direct them to this thread to DIY and they still require my assistance, they will have to pay for such services. This remains one of the most straight forward immigrant processes i have seen so far.

Am not sure you ll need to evaluate WAEC when evaluating foreign certificate ooo @Topsmamen....input appreciated. Jemidun: Dear All,
Please I have a tricky situation.
I applied to WES last year, and got my credentials (obtained from Nigeria) evaluated before the WAEC brouhaha.
In current year, I have applied for an evaluation of an additional certificate which I obtained from the UK.
My question is : Do I need to evaluate WAEC also? |

I can only respond to the bolded question and I am sure you'll get answers to other questions there as well. All the best. Check out this link: https://www.nairaland.com/4933819/living-canada-life-canadian-immigrant/134Adabekee005: Good day all
I've been a silent reader (I actually just figured out how to post on nairaland. I hope I'm doing this right)
So I received my first Copr on the 10th and submitted my passport to vfs Abuja last week Thursday.
- Apart from the letter from FRSC, what else do I need to get before leaving naija? - Can I start applying for jobs now? - My medicals will expire on the 1st of August, do you have any idea how long it takes to get the final COPR? - Lastly, please can anyone add me to a beneficial whatsapp group for those preparing to land and those already in Canada?
Thanks and God bless. |
