Yes na!

After 8 years in power. His government would be remembered for only the numerous hardships it brought Nigerians. Add his regime also as military president. He couldn’t even deliver a credible election.

Zero achievements after 8 years. And now his administration is over he wants to leave the final bomb that would explode Nigeria further. Nigeria hasn’t even recovered from the new naira policy.

Wetin…Buhara no get heart/compassion for the common man? A lot of people are struggling and all he does is think of more ways to double their hardship and pile it in them.

This has to be the worst president in Nigeria’s history. I doubt any future president can perform worse than he has.

Shame. I can’t wait for may 29th!
Exactly! He is the undisputed worst civilian President we have had! Just like you, I can't wait for May 29 but the last damage would have been done by then (subsidy removal) and will never be reversed by the incoming government no matter who it is!

Urges incoming administration to raise VAT to 10%

•Ghana phases out petrol subsidy

•FG: We are yet to harmonise position on palliatives after subsidy removal

•Approves Nigeria Agenda 2050

•Population census now to hold in May

BusinessRe: Have You Been Able To Spend The Old Naira Notes In Your Area? by yemi1504: 11:52am On Mar 16, 2023
fola2222:
Let come to think of it. After much suffering they still want to pump out old note again.
With deadlines..

Why are they not giving out new note instead of pumping out old note...

Because if they pump out only old note alone, when the deadline comes, we will still be face with the same challenge
Abi. A new President in May might extend the deadline! Another thing is after the elections on Saturday, CBN might finally bring out the new notes they didn't want politicians to hoard in large quantities.

PoliticsRe: I’m Learning How To Speak Yoruba - Lagos LP Guber Candidate, Gbadebo by yemi1504: 4:52pm On Mar 13, 2023
ferhyntorlah:
Yes. When he's in school, he'll speak English.

Couples from different tribes should endeavour to speak their dialect to their children.

Daddy should speak Yoruba.
Mum should speak Igbo.

The children will pick up English speaking in school and other social gatherings.

Children at tender ages have the GOD given ability to pick up many languages, which many parents aren't aware of.

I read the post of a lady whose fiancé was biracial. I think daddy was English, mum Arab and they had a Spanish nanny. The guy can speak three languages because these languages were spoken to him.

His dad spoke English to him.
His mum spoke Arabic to him.
His nanny spoke Spanish to him.

Now, he's a polyglot and this made him land an international job.

So, I see no reason why parents of different tribe or race can't speak their language to their children.

This guy is too big and experienced to still be contesting for Lagos State HoA - a position he has consistently won since 2015. At this point, he should be running for the House of Reps.

When is he going to grow some balls and dislodge Femi Gbaja? Oh, I forgot that the Druggie hasn't given him the ticket yet.

That's why I don't like the godfatherism-based politics the Druggie promotes in Lagos. People must be free to test their popularity in a democracy.
Abi. Gbaja has turned that seat to a retirement home SMH.

When a court has to give an order for you as an electoral umpire to follow your own guidelines (you were the one that even made the guidelines and you even said you will follow it), it says a lot negatively of you.

Ken4Christ:
The greatest challenge of this naira scarcity is movement from place to place. I believe only those who have cars are the only ones not complaining because they can buy fuel with credit card.

But you can't pay for transport with cards.

And when you do not have physical cash, you movement is restricted.

Don't think about yourself only. So many are not having it funny.

It is a wicked and useless policy.
Exactly, transport and also petty food has been the problem. These sectors only collect cash.

I want to know if people are now using the old naira notes, supreme court gave a judgement last week that the old N200, N500 and N1000 naira notes remain legal tender till December.

CBN and banks must comply with the judgement
They are not in my area at all! The Okada riders and the restaurants are not collecting it. Hoping the interior people in the city collects it.
