grandstar: The suffering is better imagined.
At the very least, let the old notes in circulation still be used as legal tender until the CBN prints new notes. It shouldn't withdraw old notes from circulation until it has enough new notes to replace that deposited.
many people still have the old notes, so its use as legal tender will suffice or reduce the level of suffering a lot Abi. This stubbornness of CBN is highly uncalled for! In saner climes, both the old notes and new notes are allowed to co-exist until the old notes are phased out. Why is ours different? I wonder if we are really practicing democracy with this flagrant disregard of court orders by the executive arm of government. |

modernWays: How did you know he won those places you mentioned?
Are you an INEC officer in charge of result to be so sure about that?
What some of you kids don't know is that, election in Nigeria is secret ballot, you will never know who anyone voted for until result are announce. Some people might be supporting your candidate but voted another person at polling boot. Some are just following you because that is what is trending, but deep in them, they want someone else.
Alot of your utopia supporters has families, friends, mothers, fathers, etc who are the core members of rulling party. Do you expect this type of people to denied them and vote Obi? This is what they called STRUCTURE. Structure win you election not ordinary individuals followers. We said the same thing about the structure they do not have. |
Politics › Re: Peter Obi Breaks Down In Tears During Press Conference by yemi1504: 5:22pm On Mar 02, 2023 |
modernWays: Obi know the truth, just using emotion to capture the hearts of his brainless supporters against next election in 2027.
How on earth will you say you won election you only had 25% in 16 states. If they conduct this election 100 times, Obi with his style of hatred politic will never secure a required 25% in 24 states, especially in the Muslims north. This is his greatest undone that his supporters failed to understand. Abi. You can say that again! Obi was the most divisive and tribal candidate I have seen in this dispensation! |

casualobserver: 1). You cannot become president of Nigeria without spread. So make friends not enemies.
2) most Nigerians are so busy thinking with their hearts not their heads they miss the obvious, right in front of them.
3) the Ibos remain the most tribalalistic tribe in this country.
4) Trust is earned, in the end (both at the primaries and the election) it was the North that saved Tinubu. Sometimes you have to give 1st.
5).Just as your own can betray you, your enemies today can one day help you, e.g Wike, Exactly. #1 is the lesson for those Obidients crooners. |

The way Tinubu views Oyo state as a prize for APC shown by his actions in the 2019 elections shows this election on the 11th is going to be war! |
Politics › Re: What Was The Greatest Lesson For You In This Election ? by yemi1504: 6:35pm On Mar 01, 2023 |
Think9ja: There are so many lessons.
1. Never betray your benefactor. E.g Like what Pandora did to Atiku
2 Never hate a person because everyone hates the person. E.g Igbos against Tinubu
3 Always attack a common enemy by unity and alliances. E.g PDP and LP were not United and no alliances formed.
4.Never be too confident of victory. E g Atiku was too confident of victory
5.Never let your emotions cloud your judgements. E g nzogbu nzogbu politics didn't allow the igbos to look at the bigger picture. Now the person they love to hate is their next president.
I will drop more lessons when it gets to front page. Exactly! Caveat on the Atiku was too confident of victory, he saw the writings on the wall with the fragmented opposition and incursions into his votes but was fighting two wars at the same time, one within his party and one outside. Not much he could do. |

sotall: That you should always take every bad news of poverty, unemployment, mass killings, huge corruption that we see everyday with a pinch of salt.
During election, a significant number of those affected by government bad policies will still vote for them. You can say that again! Was shocking seeing those humongous votes for APC who have been abysmal for 8 years especially for the last 4 years! We said it then that this was going to be the most divisive election and votes were going to be along tribal lines. We turned out to be right. |

obembet: Dear Nairalanders, What was the greatest lesson for you in this election ? The greatest lesson is how the opposition failed to unite based on personal greed especially the one that said he will win without structure (he was still 3rd in the elections). They all went home empty-handed! I hope we now know that the two major parties will continue to be in competition until a seismic event enters our politics. Why? Because they have the structure and nationwide appeal (Atiku got at least 25% in 26 states while Mr. I will win without structure didn't meet the at least 25% in 24 states requirement - he only got that in 16 states way off the 24 states required). |

Oluwaseyi Abiodun Omo Makinde shame on you, you sold your party presidential bid and your state National Assembly candidates. See the disaster you brought to yourself. Let opposition Guber candidate Comes together before the election, they will all vote you out of that place if care is not taken. The bitterness you inherited from Wike will hunt your political career instead of putting your party first. See what adeleke just did in his State, he delivered it to his party You can say that again! Being first a party man is very very key. Look at Adeleke. |

PDP should show seriousness in expelling those two! Let them go to the parties they endorsed! After Makinde if he wins the elections on March 11, hand out six month suspensions to him and the remaining 2 governors in the G5. How you can betray and hold a party to ransom who gave you the platform as governors and there seems to be no punishments from the party beats me! |
