The statistics put together in my neibourhood have shown that 75% of Lagos residents have lost their phones either by once chance, direct stealing or other means. Most times people loose their phones under serious treat. Lagosians now have resolved to make use of very cheap phones. Please share your experience to guide against a reoccurrence.

The two issues I think we should address here (1) Security (2) Personality. Security in the sense that every citizen must be provided with security irrespective of your status less to say a house of Reps. Personality here is how you as a person manage yourself. For him I don’t expect that he should be visiting a cheap joint where he enjoys the presence of some nuisance. Everybody is aware of the way Adedibu plays politics in Ibadan but we should also know that it could happen to opposition too, not to rejoice the death of Segun. This is my opinion.

I think we have 2 issues here, one personality secondly, security. What I mean by personality is the area you don’t even need to attend with your status. For him as a Honourable member of the house don’t need to patronize a cheap joint where you will also see nuisances. What I thin he enjoys is the hailing of (Baba Agba to say). For him also, I think it is irresponsible to say you have up to like 7 wives to even be a house rep. And to security, no matter how bad someone his at his level, he should be provided a security.

It was a shock, grief when the news of assassination of Segun Oladimeji, a member of the house when the filtered the city of Ibadan, for about 3 hours, the Governor could not hold back the tears. This also the issue of Security in the country. If a House Rep member could just be murdered just like that, how much of ordinary citizen on the street. This is not too good for our democracy.

You also need to know that Police in all state are indirectly responsible to state Government. Despite the fact that Governor in any state is still chief security officer in His state, Commisioner will still take the last other from IGP. Issue of impeachment does not even set it at all. You need to understand how it works. Let me call your attention to situation in Ibadan where thugs will lay a siege at the entrance of an incubemt governor and police will distance themselves for the sucessful plot. At the end of it allthe story being that they take order from Abuja. I agree with you that we have experience illegal arrest in the past few weeks but what I know firmly is that Fashola will not allow the ugly incident to continue as a number of pple have made passionate appeal to the Governor. But once again my brother we must address real issue here.

Pls u made a statement that someone should shut up while making his/her opinion known, but I think that is unfair. 2ndly u said the Governor is just distracting u. I stongly oppose that too. Whatever directive the Governor might have given to The Police, u & I know they will over do things & not addressing the issues. U also said Fashola does not care about moral society, Haba! This is a man that you rarely known. I believe the man will review the Police's activities.
