Mtsww the virus affect older people much more than the young. And I bet those people above level 12 are old people. This guy av started injecting steroids again, he never listen to his doctors.

Imagine there's community spread in Nigeria. "When you have 3 people [with coronavirus], and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done." Right. Now is probably game over

Confirmed #coronavirus cases in Nigeria 37
STOP CRUSHING ECONOMY and CRUSH COVID-19

Isolate everyone over age 65

Isolate all with risk factors

Let others go to work, but keep focus on hygiene/6’ distance

If positive Covid test, treat ASAP with HydChlor+Zpac

Test as needed and track/isolate inverted or exposed.

WIN
But hey Covid19 is exposing the West. Just Google and see how the Asian countries deal with Covid19. They're spending billions of dollars making weapons just a common flu is exposing their healthcare system. France and England are fighting because of face masks. America is telling doctors and nurses to reuse face masks. Italy is asking US military to help them. I refuse Hollywood to brainwash me

Glad the Government are doing this. Freedom is precious, but during a pandemic people need to get serious about public health.
China is turning the tide a couple days ago according to some news sources like CNN. Of course the virus will run its course. At the conclusion, is there going to be less deaths or more? This whole “ flattening the curve” is just another end of the eternal question: do you pull the bandaid off fast or slowly?
I keep asking also why this? Why now? Honest input is appreciated. I drive a truck for Fun. The number of bbq’s I saw the last few days, out in public parks, tells me that either the word isn’t getting to our “poor” neighborhoods here in Canada or, some folks don’t give a damn. I hope leftovers isn’t the only thing the brought home.
my fellow Nigerians don't panic the virus is real but there's still no community spread in Nigeria. That been said,. try the 14 days social distancing as much as u can. Go to NCDC.gov for more information.

I don't know why this guy hasn't been banned from this forum. He is spreading misinformation everywhere. You are very ignorant. Most viruses attack the immune system. And make u susceptible to infections and other diseases. He probably would still be managing his conditions if Coronavirus wasn't added to the list.

There is nothing that can really be done. It still spread in nations with more money, more equipment, more skills and more willingness to unite to fight it. Coronavirus is in the world to stay. Eventually, its status among people will reduce to that of the common flu which kills tens of thousands of people yearly as well. I am not incapacitating myself or my family or those who depend on me for an income just for fear of a runny nose and a cough. I will follow all sensible precautions and advice my family and my staff to do so, and already I'm taking vitamin supplements and eating lots of fruit to boost my immunity. But at the end, what will be will be. If I am going to die from coronavirus, let me die free.
I understand u brother the panic and fear is worst than the virus
Health › Ex-ppmc MD Suleiman Achimugu Becomes First Person To Die Of Covid19 in Nigeria by Yenefer(op): 11:23am On Mar 23, 2020
BREAKING: Ex-PPMC Managing Director, Suleiman Achimugu, Becomes First Person To Die Of Coronavirus In Nigeria
Achimugu, who returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom two weeks ago, started showing symptoms of the virus last Tuesday, according to findings by SaharaReporters.

A former Managing Director of Pipelines and Products Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Suleiman Achimugu, has died of Coronavirus.

Achimugu, who returned to Nigeria from the United Kingdom two weeks ago, started showing symptoms of the virus last Tuesday, according to findings by SaharaReporters.

He eventually died around 2:00am on Monday after coughing severely for most part of Sunday.

A family source told SaharaReporters that officials of the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control were informed of his situation and even took his blood sample for testing but they never got back to his family until he died overnight.

His blood sample tested positive for the virus.

“NCDC officials came to the house and took his blood specimen. Even though it tested positive, they never got back to us until he died at a hospital in Gwagwalada.

“We are all currently under quarantine in the house,” a family source told SaharaReporters on Monday.

It was also gathered that the NCDC will handle Achimugu’s burial so as to avoid a further spread of the virus.

Earlier on Monday, the NCDC announced that Nigeria now had a total number of 35 confirmed cases of Coronavirus.

You are right. Sensible precautions within reason are all that is needed. At the end of the day, a lot of people will test positive worldwide and almost all of them will recover no matter what draconian precautions are implemented. But truly, I do not see the NCDC as really having gone overboard. Restricting religious meetings, parties and other large gatherings is only sensible as is restricting international flights for the moment. So far they have not gone beyond that.
they're waiting for community spread. My brother isolate urself Sh!t is getting real

Health › Re: Nigeria Reports First Coronavirus Death by Yenefer(f):
This is the kind of thing that inspired Charles Darwin to embrace the theory of Natural Selection. If you want to weed out your garden, just put your hands in your pockets and watch.

When you flatten the curve you also lengthen the curve. IF the NCDC willing to go 6 months or more with this? Going 6 months will destroy the economy and usher in a total collapse of the economy . Why is this necessary for a virus that is a little worse than Typhoid or malaria, which we did nothing for?
Just like every other flu we have known throughout the history of mankind. Should you not shake hands? Of course, Should you wash your hands regularly? Always. Should you stay home if you are sick? Certainly. So the NCDC are waiting for community spread before they issue any guidelines if u are reading this pls. Isolate urself Sh!t is getting real..

I think we the people are getting real close to being pushed over the edge. Keep it up Presidency and the NAA along with NCDC will be rushed and taken over by millions of Nigerians and you will be taken from power. The presidency are playing Russian Roulette with the lives of Nigeria people. The bill was pretty much agreed to by the PDP and APC in the Senate... to close the Airport until Presidency and the Cabals showed up, and decided to try to squeeze the NAA for more planes to land because their family are living abroad, let them bring more of the virus when things goes haywire we know where to go. besides It's breathtaking how little they care for the Nigerians public. And at this time of global pandemic it could quite possibly be literally breathtaking. If they are so cold as to support killing people because of social media, it stands to reason that they wouldn't give a second thought about a suffering public.

Like seriously!!
Speaking Of WORKING FROM HOME...With distilleries shifting production to the hot black market hand sanitizer trade, it got governors and NCDC across the country thinking. Could they allow bars to stay open and ensure a safe experience for their citizens during coronapocalypse?

You mean keep people from earning a living and providing for their families? Yeah I'm pretty cynical. There is a sense if urgency so something has to be done now and every day that they screw around with their political b#ll shit is another day that small businesses and workers are affected. Maybe NCDC and and these sheebles who say they care about this country should have their jobs eliminated as well as their pay.

Why does this just toe the line of everything we don’t want in this country. It literally comes down to trust. Politicians adding crap that has no bearing on the Virus so it doesn't go So they blame the opposition for holding up help.
This entire fiasco is political and nothing more. Where was the media when they ignored corruption, Road accident, malaria, typhoid, hunger, herdmens kidnappers, Cultist etc?
Is there really any surprises here.
They continue to divide and show the Nigerians people who and what their priorities are and it's to defeat Our civil liberties, that's it. Even putting the best interests of the Nigerians people are not in the agenda.

Health › Re: Lagos Govt Orders All Commercial Drivers, Conductors To Wear Masks, Gloves by Yenefer(f):
Ridiculous. 80% of people saying let's shut down the country are grifters or card sharpers, all they need is computer and internet, and they want Lagos or Nigeria to be shut down., And the Globalists are punishing the world to show us how much we need them. I have noticed that if you have money you get medical care and drugs that help you recover but every day people don’t get it Of course not! The media would not have taken this "campfire" and fanned it into a major "forest fire." And you and many others are too ignorant of the truth that you believe them! They want chaos and anarcky; they want to take over using fear. They don't want chaos, the media would have stayed mum about this, trying to protect the stock market, 80000 people would have died, and we would have went on with our lives. You know, like when world got hit with H1N1. Actually I believe that. Globalists are punishing the world to show us how much we need them. Just like every other flu we have known throughout the history of mankind. Should you not shake hands? Of course, Should you wash your hands regularly? Always. Should you stay home if you are sick? Certainly.
