This whole coronahoax is just a test run to see what they can get away with. Judging by the peoples reactions so far....the deep state has us by the short and curlies. And they know it.
ever heard of H1N1. It was 100 times worse and no one noticed. This virus is real but the severity of the situation has been blown way out of proportion for political reasons. The constitution was too much trouble and needed to be scrapped. They have succeeded.
Crazy world we are living in right now. Almost makes you wonder if something else isn’t brewing while everyone is preoccupied with this Coronavirus.

Mintek: Christians do have the number but most of them are too docile. They will be fooled again with the "competence" argument while Muslims covertly scheme to politically subjugate them.
Attempting to field a Muslim/Muslim ticket in the present-day Nigeria is in itself a gross insult and a demonstration of insensitivity on the part of its promoters.
Will Muslims ever support a Christian/Christian ticket? NO |

You dare use Kaduna as an example and you didn't mention states like Ondo, Ekiti where the Muslim to xtian ratio is more than that of the xtian to Muslim in Kaduna and for years Muslims have been shortchanged in this states, talk less of states in the south south and south east. That one is normal. read the article |

She put him out like the burnin' end of a midnight cigarette She broke his heart, he spent his whole life tryin' to forget We watched him drink his pain away a little at a time But he never could get drunk enough to get her off his mind Until the night He put that bottle to his head and pulled the trigger And finally drank away her memory Life is short, but this time it was bigger Than the strength he had to get up off his knees We found him with his face down in the pillow With a note that said, 'I'll love her till I die.' And when we buried him beneath the willow The angels sang a whiskey lullaby The rumors flew but nobody knew how much she blamed herself For years and years she tried to hide the whiskey on her breath She finally drank her pain away a little at a time But she never could get drunk enough to get him off her mind Until the night She put that bottle to her head and pulled the trigger And finally drank away his memory Life is short, but this time it was bigger Than the strength she had to get up off her knees We found her with her face down in the pillow Clinging to his picture for dear life We laid her next to him beneath the willow While the angels sang a whiskey lullaby |

chachanga: Even though Christians in Nigeria don't have the strength nor need to retaliate in any sense for the real or perceived wrongs of Muslim-led administrations, the fact is that what you call Christianity and most who call themselves Christians in Nigeria are really non-representative of the core beliefs they espouse.
Intellectually and politically lazy souls who profess virtues but will not raise civil action to pursue the Eldorados in their Holy Book while the whole town burns down over their cowardly heads aren't the stuff of 21st century Christianity.
If Apostles Paul, Peter, James etc didn't stick to their guns even at dying point, do you think Christianity would've thrived after Christ? Martin Luther King and the Black Civil Rights Movement didn't have the benefit of an existing democracy as a veritable vehicle to achieving a peaceful, just, progressive and equitable society where all rights including Womens' were respected and protected as against West obtains in Northern Nigeria today but they thrived while Nigerian Christians cower behind keyboards online.
I believe in the sincerity of the Southerners on this thread and kudos to their patriotic and egalitarianist leanings as they've espoused their need for simply a "just, competent and creative leadership regardless of its religious affiliations" but does the average voting youth highly brainwashed on pro-Northern ethno-religious rhetoric think same? And if the current equation persists, in which generation will the various federal character evils perpetrated against the South and the North's (non-Hausa/Fulani) indigenous people groups/tribes be corrected?
One underlying common denominator of Nigerian politics is that you pro-Christian southerners always divide like your fragmented Christianity's proliferated churches' denominations but the largely pro-Islamic (Hausa/Fulani, Kanuri) North always unites and the forge of that unity is hardly the best of Nigeria's long-term interests. It's always about the North, its dominance, its religion, its right to rule, most times, as it wills unquestioned per its own terms.
Think about that. well said |
