Politics › Re: Why Desperate To Go Abroad?: Report From UK Adventure by Yeske2(m): 1:13am On Nov 25, 2014
Two sides to a coin anyway as someone earlier said. I have friends in the UK and USA who had great jobs here as an engineer and an economist but relocated and are nurses there and doing well, though they never trained as nurses here. A member of my clique of friends those days, hanging out stuff, a barrister and doing so well now works in the Underground in London and finds it hard relating to old friends while most of us are married and doing well. A friend working in Lagos called me 3 months ago telling me he's now in Dubai working in a construction company he signed a contract for( is it 3 or 5 years) and guess for how much? 1600 dirham or whatever he called it, about 70,000 naira. this was somebody doing well in an insurance company in Lagos.
Two sides to a coin to me but will never leave this place.

hehe well shebi some guys have been clamouring that anambra should focus on specific sectors and not trying to do everything at the same time....maybe the clamour has reached the ears of anambra state government house lol...moreover i do not think sanitation can be classified as capital expenditure as i think it is recurrent.
I get your drift

According to the Budget proposal, Road
Construction has a budget provision of one
– point -five billion naira while Agricultural
Sector has the largest percentage of
allocation of (4.15%) among the other
economic sectors, excluding Road Works.
Education sector will receive 45.6% of the
total expenditure of the social sector while
a total of one–point eight billion naira has
been mapped out for the initial take off of
the Pension Scheme.

What is 45.6% of total expenditure of the SOCIAL SECTOR?

It's true, "Road infrastructure and education got the lion share of the capital budget of 48 percent and 46 percent respectively"
Source: http://www.punchng.com/news/anambra-presents-n165bn-2015-budget/
Thanks then, i only went through the source that was provided and never knew other news outlets have gotten the full breakdown.
@MOBJECTIVE, no vex.
But wait o, 48+46+4.1=98.1
Is this feasible or is there a mistake somewhere between punch and channelstv reports?

MOBJECTIVE:
"Road infrastructure and education got the lion share of the capital budget of 48 percent and 46 percent respectively"

46 percent of the capital budget is about 51 billion.. On education alone?
Bros no vex o, the only breakdown on the capital expenditure was
Road........48%
Agriculture..... 4.1%
abi you get another source of the breakdown?

That budget Gov Obiano presented made sense, about 66% for capital projects and 33% for recurrent. Hope other States emulate this.

What if he promises you so he can have your votes to return next year and runup to 2019 election, he reneges, what happens. I'll continue to say it that Igbos should mind their businesses of making money and forget politics for those who know the ropes.

LOL!! Nothing?! LOL!! What media hype? Dude, I travel those roads. Enugu - Awka will take time to finish with the pace. I appreciate Julius Berger and SETRACO work along Aba - Port Harcourt road. I've seen the airport. By the way, you've not answered her questions.
What questions and is she in the SE? Tell us the state of the FG roads in the SE, we live here and see things ourselves so stop the lies.

I've read your posts on this topic, babyosisi showed evidence, but you did none. It appears you rarely travel. In addition to hers, do you know there are two companies handling Aba-Port Harcourt road? Julius Berger and SETRACO. There are others.
That the airports she displayed being flooded during a natural disaster is of no use, has Enugu had such recently? The topic is on the performance of GEJ, traveled or not, GEJ is a traitor as far as the SE is concerned. Nothing on ground, forget the media hype and stuff, babyosisi and millions of other Umuigbo will be home this Xmas to see things themselves

Onitsha alone doesn't make up Igboland

Orient refinery in anambra happened under GEJ's presidency too
If Onitsha is bad, blame your governor and commissioners not GEJ
GEJ can't clean up the heap of dirt or construct state roads
Soon people will blame GEJ when they are unable to impregnate their wives grin
Onitsha isn't bad, the governor repaired the part of FG road within Onitsha but what what has the FG done about the other length of the road?

our federal roads nko
you coming down this Xmas but not using the federal roads?

The second is Bangkok
Nothing new
Heavy rains can cause flooding anywhere
Is that all, mention his achievements, Enugu airport was flooded after a slight rain. Where are the roads? People are complaining so pass this to the clueless one.Onitsha port is moribund, not even a canoe had berthed, Niger river not dredged after Yar'dua, .
Do you stay in the SE?

GEJ remodelled Enugu Airport, that now has international flights

GEJ completed the Owerri-Onitsha which OBJ abandoned in 2006.

GEJ has also remodelled the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri. I saw this happen with my korokoro eyes.before GEJ that airport looked like a motor , pleaspark

GEJ has built a new federal university in Afikpo, EBonyi State.

GEJ gave the SE her first COAS since the civil war

The oil wells Abia regained from Rivers state stolen by Gowon

Those are just a few
Remodeled flooded airport abi, Onitsha- Owerri road completed by GEJ? And guess what, that's the only federal road in the SE worthy of mention
Do you live in the SE? Stop getting brainwashed by the saTANists

Is any South easterner complaining to you?
GEJ and Yaradua has done more for the SE than all former presidents and heads of states put together
Quote me

First of all it was in yaradua and GEJ's rule that the Abia regained oil wells that were taken from them and given to Rivers state
That alone is a major deal
Hold it sister, i live in the SE. Gist us his achievements in the SE and..... hey, do you live in the SE? GEJ is a joke.

OBJ that cannot even construct a motorable road to his Otta Farm ? - SMH undecided
He at least constructed Onitsha-Owerri road, which has GEJ constructed in the SE? In as much as i dislike OBJ, GEJ is 'worser' . His cluelessness is legendary and his minders ain't helping matters for him.
