God bless you. If you check everything very well you will see that we Igbos are the real architects of our political marginalisation. We are always quick to blame Yoruba for everything and never checking ourselves.

I remember back then I strongly believed in rotation, I clamoured for the north to complete Yar Ardua's term but my Igbo brothers were all over the place shouting Jonathan. Today you can see the mess we are into, because of shame we are shouting Biafra.

I am beginning to think that something is fundamentally wrong with us as a people I am sorry to say.

This is where we Igbos get it wrong. The Yorubas have only repeated what we did many years back. When we joined the north we also determined Nigeria's political destiny by producing Shagari/Ewueme.

It is common knowlwedge that once the north aligns with any of the big tribes in the south it is game over and that is what happened with Buhari/Osinbajo.

We could have evn gotten the VP slot in this administration but our baseless hatred for the APC forced them to turn to the Yorubas because they saw that no matter what they did, Igbos had made up their minds.

What do we get from the ijaws after deciding to sink with them even when there were suggestions to abandon Jonathan and align with APC? Today they call us expansionists.

Bro, I personally think we should start building bridges with parts of the north and the SW to produce the next president. If we play our cards well we will get it because it is very clear that after Buhari, should the presidence come down south it should go to the east.

Our problem started in 2010 when Ndigbo clamoured for GEJ to run for president in 2011,when we were reminded that the SE was to produce the president in 2015,our people refused and started singing no zoning all because of GEJ the Ijaw man.
When parties came together to form APC, APGA was invited but it refused instead aligning itself with the sinking PDP all for GEJ.
Now the same SE that wanted no zoning for 2011 election because of GEJ has now zoned the presidential ticket to the north for 2019,now who is the fool here.

All this nomenclature problem started during Peter Obi's administration and i could remember years back when some Obosi youths went around Awada and painted off any sign, address that has Onitsha in it, same for Nkpor youths too and Obi never addressed the issue before he left office. He even agreed to the changing of ABS tv to reflect its location which was uncalled for.

I agree with you to an extent because our people are usually touchy when it comes to land issues and that's why government lodge along Nibo road is called Government lodge Amawbia not Awka even if both communities have no clear boundaries per se and both are within the same Awka capital territory. IMHO, i believe towns and cities that are contiguous should merge into a common name, i don't see a reason why places like Nkpor, Awada, Ogidi and other areas that fall within Onitsha metropolis can't have an Onitsha suffix after them like Nkpor-Onitsha, Awada-Onitsha etc and same for the Awka axis too.
Nnewi and Ozubulu are already merging into one big city and i don't see any big deal retaining the Nnewi to NAUTH.
I won't be surprised if the people of Enugwu-agidi press for NTA Awka to be renamed soon.

Please you are not making any sense. The land has been acquired and fully compensated, the community doesn't have that kind of power to decide the nomenclature for FG. Why is NTA Awka not named NTA Enugwu-agidi since the piece of land was acquired at Enugwu-agidi? It's simply government bureaucracy.

You made a point there but remember that communities where these structures are sited often would want a say in the nomenclature of such structures in their domain.
Take for instance ABS tv Onitsha was renamed ABS tv Awada just because the Obosi people insisted it was in their territory. I even wonder why Peter Obi agreed to the change
