Politics › Re: Army In Fierce Battle Against ISWAP Attack At Buni Gari, Yobe On Saturday by Yestogood: 9:06am On May 04, 2025 |
Sabotage is the problem. Traitors on the inside. If we will defeat these people, we have to bypass the chain of command. Task force, special squad or foreign mercenaries will prove more efficient. The information is being relayed back to the terrorists by sympathisers within the command structure. Drones, proximity sensors, satellite surveillance: these things are cheap. Every barracks should be able to detect when massive combatant movements are in progress, especially at night. Even remote villages can have advance warning systems. Motion detectors are tiny. Inexpensive. A geofence of 100 or 50 kilometres can and should be around every military installation. Any incursion would be defused if the defenders are aware insurgents are incoming. For now, they are not attacking with missiles and projectiles. We just don't want this thing to end. What to do is well known. |
Politics › Re: Hunger, Malnutrition Are Destroying Northern Nigeria - Guardian Editorial by Yestogood: 7:00am On May 04, 2025 |
The elites of the northern part of Nigeria insist that the children of the masses should never have the privilege of education. This has to be the beginning of a process that reverses the fortunes of the overwhelming population who have to beg for a living while the micro few swallow up the resources and opportunities on behalf of the rest. Religion is used to keep them docile. In the same way they are programmed to think that other tribes and other religions are their problem. They are encouraged to give birth to children they can't afford and can't be bothered to raise. They have raised menaces to society. Miscreants. Inborn criminals. Terrorists. Killers. All because, in their twisted wisdom, the strategists that gave counsel to their forefathers devised an annihilation scenario where the untrained, unparented masses would turn into monsters and kill the rest of us. They forget the wisdom of the ancients: YOU CANNOT BE WICKED AND WISE AT THE SAME TIME. |

Danisaint112: Naija!
I have someone in politics who told me that if you see the kind of money flying around in this Tinubu government—not just the looting, but the bribes to secure his second-term ambition—you will pity Nigeria.
I'm talking billions on a daily basis.
There is money in this country. The thing is, it’s just circulating among the elite. E no dey reach the hands of the masses.
From the information I’m getting, I’ve come to understand that if Tinubu wins his second-term bid—which is highly possible, especially now that he is in power—it is then Nigerians will understand the true meaning of suffering.
Knowing they’re on their way out, it’s now looting without pity, remorse, or any form of human consideration. All the bribes flying around must be recovered times seven, and Nigerians will be left to fight even harder for their daily bread.
As Joseph prepared, you all should also start preparing for the rainy days ahead, because the APC government is here to steal, kill, and destroy.
A word, they say, is enough for the wise. Ha! So this one we are going through contains human consideration? Haba! |
Crime › Re: FCT Police Recover Large Cache Of 'Igbo', 149 iPhones & 109 ATM Cards (Video) by Yestogood: 10:52am On May 03, 2025 |
BeginsAtHome: This one na for show.
FCT police dey collect returns steady from drug dealers. Inshort, the illicit drug market in Abuja is an open one.
From Gidan drama to 3'3 and federal housing all in kubwa to other places well known in the FCT including those highbrow areas you see.
Until I visited Abuja, I have never seen Tramadol, Exxol etc live before.
You can buy weed on the streets in full public glare and nobody bats an eyelid. It's part of the street culture there.
Their lounges and clubs are all smoking houses.
Maybe these ones are dissents or they got caught by the "good cops" You are right. An observant stroll will bring you into touch with drug dealers boldly trading their wares. Police and military guys patronise them. Whenever they launch "raids," it's just a fragment of the stock they retrieve. Abuja has a drug use problem. Rehab centres integrated into churches and mosques will be a good place to start. The rampant unemployment is also not helping matters. |

Why are you people calling Indians white? Some are blacker than us. Their unfortunate treatment of African workers is because they themselves are not treated better in India. Our leaders bring them here and allow them to exploit Nigerians. I did my NYSC in Port Harcourt. That's when I swore that Indians and Lebanese would never have the privilege to maltreat me. |

Righthussle: It is you that insults God and one day, God wil open your eyes. These thieves have nothing to do with God. They go about collecting money from the gullible in the name of God. I am not a pastor. I am, however, content to let God sort out any matter concerning anyone who is supposedly serving God, especially if I don't have evidence they are fake. I have some in mind who I believe are false pastors, but I don't think I should bunch them all together or launch a campaign against those fake ones. Anyway, that's because I am a Christian and I hope God finds pleasure in me. I understand where you are coming from, and you actually have a right to your opinion. Thanks. |

ArcSEMPECJ: There is nothing to be done here, I think water upsurge from the ground caused this with the surface flooding that the ground could not drain ... Governors within this kind of natural occurrence should have built a sort of relief houses where these people can go temporarily and return back home later but how can such thoughtful thinking come to their minds when they are busy asking and paying bribes per month for taking their proposed Slaves to government positions .... You are right. The soil is predominantly sandy soil and doesn't have much capacity to absorb water. The water table is full and the soil is supersaturated with water. It really doesn't have any where else to go. If you Google Berlin flood prevention, you will see that the municipality of Berlin utilises levees and dikes, water retention basins and diversion channels to manage river flows and protect against flooding. This is how to properly make use of engineers and hydrogeologists. The Nigerian system is skewed to make it seem as though the education most of us suffered to obtain is useless. Strangely, if we put properly thought out solutions in place, no one will come after one must have left the corridors of power to claim corruption or diversion of funds, because there will be evidence of work done. |
