Mindlog:This started long before Oluomo. About 3 years ago, you dare not stop on airport road to make a phone call. You will be surrounded and taken to Lugbe police station by market. In the police station your tyres would be deflated and only upon payment of whatever you were billed would you be allowed to negotiate with the standby vulcaniser on how much you would pay before your tyres would be inflated. I have had to make sure to keep clear of the various spots where these extortionary measures are in place. Abuja has a dark underbelly. VIO and Road Safety in 2024 constituted a major pain in the neck of abuja motorists. I hear they extorted a lawyer of 300k not knowing the man was recording them. It's upon receiving the lawyer's petition that Wike clamped down on them. For someone like me who insists on having every paper intact, it's difficult to wrap my head around a young man in an ugly uniform telling you that no matter how many documents you have, no car can pass their inspection. Are you a devil? |
"America is fast becoming a dictatorship." Really? Under Obama & Biden, you were unable to refuse, as a baker, to bake a cake for a gay wedding because it clashed with your religious beliefs. You could not, as a parent, assert the God-given gender of your child. The government made funds available, under government funded medicare, for gender reassignment surgery. People were claiming "pronouns" as bizarre as "they - them," "it" or even "zir" in a country that was very close to meltdown. Trump is just pressing a much needed reset button. Many of his ways are difficult to understand, but who else would have won the election? |
Emmanuel909090:He is often extremely confusing in some of his ways, but I like his approach towards many key issues. |
at ever liveth[/quote]In the spirit of "all is fair in love and war," truly I am disappointed in Fubara. If you supported a flawed system because it favoured you, why attempt to look like a saint at the end? He should have refused to bow to Wike and waited for his day when he would win the elections fair and square. Since he decided he is a warrior, let him fight o. These things are easier to navigate than he thought. Serve until you too gain a foothold . It ended up being a fight against the President. That's a battle you can't win. |
Buharii is still with the talakawas.... Eight years in power, and what exactly did he do for the northern poor people? The only thing Ndume is attempting here is saber rattling. Violence alone cannot bring over 370 ethnic groups and 200 million people to their knees. The highest thing is they can send their murderers to go and kill, kidnap and rape women with sticks. |
Is your wife asthmatic? Some of the drugs used to treat asthma have the effect of reducing a woman's libido. Also, some women just have a reduced libido. The libido tends to reduce as well, when women are in menopause. Don't look at the negative side alone. Some women have a heightened libido that pushes them to bed every Tom, Dick & Harry. Is that what you prefer? The low libido woman is likely to have been married as a virgin. In addition, if you do sufficient pre-intimacy every time, you will see a side of her you never expected. Sex is not supposed to be just plug and play. Bathe yourself well. Brush your teeth. Then refrain from driving in when she is dry. Touch and stimulate. Learn what moves her. ( I hope all you guys reading this are married o. All indomie children, go to bed now) |
The blatant disregard for federal character coupled with a total lack of accountability that Buhari displayed was defended by Ndume and the likes of Lai Mohammed. Plus, the entire north seemed to be okay with the economy that was butchered beyond recognition. They said Baba was entitled to appoint those he trusted and felt comfortable working with. It's the same seat. What changed? What makes Tinubu ineligible to do the exact same thing? Ndume is certainly not doing badly on a personal level. He was comfortable then, as he is now. (Except there is something else he is not telling us) |
So even Jega dey talk of worthy character. 🤔 |
ogododo:Allegedly, in the aftermath of the coup in Niger, rampaging mobs of youths systematically burnt the houses of the wealthy. It is rumoured that Buhari's house is among those that were destroyed. It's not confirmed o, just a rumour I heard |
BeardedMeat:No mind them. |
SmartPolician:39 billion dollars for Chad Basin. Then Bauchi. In the case of Bauchi, they celebrated commercial quantities of hydrocarbon. Then, bang! As usual the whole thing goes silent, and the normal actors (bandit, terrorists, islamists, military bases attacked, villages overrun) and everyone forgets. Thieves. |
Forensic coverage is a given for any city worth its salt. The cctv cameras ought to have face ID technologies at the very least, by now. Motion sensors and geofencing technologies within a radius of 100 kilometres should be the standard around military barracks. It seems government isn't interested in taking security seriously. May God help us. |
Luke 8:17 For all that is secret will eventually be brought into the open, and everything that is concealed will be brought to light and made known to all. |
We4all:Fulani and an assortment of Libyans, Mauritanians, Chadians, Nigeriens and other ex combatants from the Sahel who were hired to come and ruin Nigeria. One prominent sponsor among their ranks famously boasted that if we disturb him, he will relocate to Niger. |
In reality these same people are fantastically adulterous. Even though they know we all know, hypocrisy is their superpower. I would respect the person who has liberty to pursue any degenerate lifestyle openly, but has the self control to say no. Should I be extreme and mention how some people go to hajj with girlfriends all because of government money and patronage, who is being deceived? |
All over the world, "powers" install leaders. |
Yahaha Bello is an expert in fabricating lists. The speed with which they came up with thousands of names and signatures has to be some sort of world record. In fact, some of those people may be dead or even relocated. That has never bothered them. EFCC most wanted... |
They are here to invest directly in businesses, provide advisory services and facilitate large transactions, rather than serving individual customers like a traditional bank. Simply put, if you are not Dangote Plc or the likes, you won't even know they are here. "Merchant banking" is what they are here to do; in fact they have been around for a while. |
shortgun:I believe they feel everyone is afraid of them. |
Bluntemperor:I am 18 years plus in marriage. One thing many married men may not openly say is: sometimes it seems women grow progressively worse in their behaviour as marriage wears on. Any married man who stays married is most probably just obeying biblical injunctions concerning divorce being something God HATES. It speaks of character when a man is not happy at home and still refuses to sleep around. This generation of young girls are very forward and extremely easy; indeed they are the ones who hunt men. That's why I don't praise Tuface. However, since none of us knows why he broke up with the woman he married, it's also not possible for me to blame him without hearing his side of the story. Marriage is the litmus test of manhood. Only real men succeed in reaching the finish line. |
All Natasha was told to do was change seats, as per senate regulations. Her unruly and typically female hysterical response is the matter that led to her suspension. The issue of harassment is a knee jerk reaction she is accustomed to. However it is not central to the matter at hand. Not at all. ( I am not an APC supporter). |
hkidola00:It's a rampant epidemic. Sadly, the economic downturn has drawn many low income earners into the web of gambling in a bid to strike it big. While I was doing a building project 2 years ago, the guy engaged to do the polystyrene ceiling work made away with money meant for purchasing the items he claimed he needed. I went on and finished the work. Less than 5 months later, the guy was back to plead for forgiveness. In his words, he had used the money to gamble, believing he would win. He didn't. To worsen matters, he fell seriously ill and the reason he insisted on seeing me was so that I could pray for him.... I told him I had nothing to do with his illness and I was holding nothing against him. I have more than one such story.... |
maiunguwar:In terms of wickedness they are not the worst o. They are just unwise. In the words of the ancients, "IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BE WICKED AND WISE AT THE SAME TIME." They have never wanted peace. I have worked with them. They are opportunists. Only if the system is held hostage and taken captive by them can they feel comfortable. In terms of putting in an honest day's work and patiently building institutions, for where? They are only good at killing things. It gets to the point where people become fed up. If they are trusting in juju, they are not the best o. If it is violence, they are not the best. They love mayhem, and one day it will boomerang. |
The fulani terrorists rape women, push sticks into their private parts, kill farmers who protest about their farms being pillaged, and slaughter people in their sleep, burning entire villages to the ground. I believe they think the whole country is under their spell. Their eye go soon clear. |
Checkwell:Don't mind them. Who do they think they are deceiving? |
Starz825:I support your stance. Who do they think is a fool? |
VeeVeeMyLuv:Thank you They have been programmed like robots. The rest is automatic. All over the country their hatred of others is glaring. With 8 years of their champion in power they probably felt they would have overrun the country by now and the threat of being killed would have handed Nigeria 🇳🇬 over to them by now. Sadly all they have is violence. |
Omoawoke:I agree with some of your allegations. APART FROM 3RD TERM, BUHARI WAS FAR WORSE THAN OBJ IN EVERY REGARD. LET'S NOT WHITEWASH RECENT HISTORY. NEVER HAVE WE HAD A LEADER SUPPORT THE KILLING OF NIGERIAN CITIZENS AS NATIONAL POLICY OF GOVERNANCE. |
DomPerignon:They have been doing this for over a hundred years. |
High Rise hostels don't work well. In the university of Jos, I always preferred the Students Village hostels. Built in form of quadrangles (called compounds), two quadrangles to a compound with the shower block in the middle. As long as you don't have too many students squashed together, you can have civilised dwelling conditions. |
Sowore said nothing in 8 years of Buhari's misrule. He should maintain the same silence. |
