Send DATA to 8186 and wat for a confirmation mssg. If you get the mssg that u r eligible, then recharge ur fone with 1000 and dial *229*2*7#. That's is d subscription code for 1GB if u are eligible.

But if you are not eligible then u Can only subscribe for 2000 for 2GB. And the code is *229*2*8#.

You can also call Etisalat customer service on 200 to know find out if you are eligible for d 1k plan.

Among Glo,mtn, etisalat and airtel, which is the fastest in your area in terms of internet stability and speed?

For me, I have tested all networks in my location .i.e Calabar, Cross River State and etisalat is the fastest both in browsing and downloading...

How about you?

Please you can state the network name and the location you are browsing from as well.

Culture / Why Don't They Pay? by yhemini: 7:39am On Nov 22, 2014
Yesterday while I was having lunch, I saw a policeman came to eat too and also paid when he was done. So this thought/question came to my mind and I said I was going to ask on here.

Why dont they (policeman, army, navy even lastma sef) pay in public transport?

Is there a law that forbids them from paying?

Do they pay when they are going interstate? i.e. from lagos to ibadan

Is it a trend practiced only in Nigeria or other law enforcement guys dont pay in other countries?

How did it start too and who started it? cos I know it must av started somehow

These are the thoughts/questions that crept into my mind when I saw d policeman pay for d food. Some danfo drivers are sometimes reluctant to let them into their buses cos they know they wont get full value unless in cases where d danfo driver wants to break d law e.g like goin thru one way or BRT lanes, then he knows d guy will cover for him incase yawa wan gas. lol

So guys I wanna know ur thought on this.

Politics / Re: "Horn Free Day": Lagosians, What's The Situation Report At Your Place? by yhemini: 10:44am On Oct 15, 2014
my friend and I observed dis on d way to work, we drove from mainland to d island and we didn't use d horn. I also noticed dat d compliant rate was really encouraging apart from some stupid idiotic OLOKADAs. I will say d compliant rate is 80%.

This is really nice from lagosian. when I saw d news for horn free day last week, I LMFAOL thinking in lagos dis can never be achieved, but I was really marvelled at how people complied even on 3rd mainland bridge.

its our impatience that cause us to blast horns most of d time. if we can just be a little bit patient(I know its hard sometimes smiley ) we will have less accidents on the road.

Properties / Re: Paying For One Month Rent For A New Apartment by yhemini: 9:48am On Oct 09, 2014
This is the practice in Europe and other developed countries. so when people say Nigeria is still a developing country; no be lie.

Its much more easier and convenient paying monthly and this is very effective abroad, but because of the fact that there's no proper organization and individual data management in this country it might be hard in some areas.
I hope something will be done about this soon by the Government.
