Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh disclosed that he does not see the reason for the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to introduce the Code of Conduct for members of the senior national team. He believes that as professional players, the boys should know how to behave while in the national team’s camp and do not need to be forced into writing an undertaking like school children. In his own words, “These players are men and some of them are even married and so deserve some respect. As professionals, they know how to behave in camp. If you want respect as a coach you give it. If you want respect as a player you should also give it’’. |

THE All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Buhari Support Group, BSG, has realized over N85 million in Support of Major-General Muhammadu Buhari’s presidential campaign for the 2015 election, which he is running as APC’s presidential candidate. The money was donated by APC and Buhari’s supporters at the fund-raising where his scratch cards were launched. During the launching it was also announced that a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, stalwart in the state dolled out N10 million in support of General Buhari. The chief launcher, Honourable Sabo Nakudu, who defected recently from the PDP to the APC and currently APC’s senatorial candidate for Jigawa South-West Senatorial District bought the cards worth N5 million while his friends and associates bought N50 million worth. The state Governorship Candidate, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, also bought the Buhari scratch cards for N5 Million, his company also bought N5 million worth. Also various groups, associates and candidates for House of Reps, State Assembly, Party officials, supporters including women, Youth Vanguard and others shouting at the top of their voices ‘sai Buhari’ scrambled for the remaining cards. The cards sent to Jigawa state were said to be for N20 Million only, but more would to be supplied to the state because of the high demand by the APC supporters. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/12/buhari-support-group-raises-n85m-jigawa/#sthash.O8UZReWC.dpuf |
In an interview, PDP governorship aspirant also former ASEPA boss revealed he was turning Aba into New York. Maybe he was cracking a joke then and I guess we missed the punchline. Now he has been positioned by a governor (T.A Orji) to take over.
