Politics › Re: What Do Ibos Want? Speaker Abbass Invites Ibo Leaders To Step Forward. by Yibo(m): 11:49am On Jan 02, 2024 |
SharingIsLife: The problem is that those you call the South Eastern leaders are not people who were actually chosen by the people. So it is impossible for these people to represent the interest of the masses correctly.
For example, look at Imo State. Can Hope Uzodimma who was rejected by the people at the polls but forced himself on them using the Federal Government, represent the interest of the people who rejected him? In fact, there was a reason why he was rejected in the first place and it must border on the fact that he is not selfless enough to represent the interest of the people above his self interest.
So you guys should try to understand the situation. It is different from Southwest where you sometimes have regular political leaders who truly represent your interest (like Late Akeredolu). Meanwhile thank you for your genuine concern for the welfare of Southeast. including Labour Party rep? |

AdaojoTheUrchin: I am still waiting for these criminal Judges to sack LP's Oyibo and return Chimaroke the murderer to the Senate, who clearly failed..
It will be a call to anarchy in Enugu.
Let the Judges keep taking bribes and selling Judgement to stronger parties.
When the Chicken comes home to roost, they will remember that the court is human and has blood flowing in the veins.

Politics › PEPT: There Would’ve Been War If Obi Won – Reno Omokri by Yibo(op): 10:21am On Sep 07, 2023 |
Reno Omokri, a former media aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, has asserted that Nigeria would have been thrown into a second civil war if the Presidential Election Petition Court’s judgement had favoured the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
DAILY POST recalls the the Presidential Election Petition Court yesterday declared that President Bola Tinubu was not convicted in the United States and also declared that he did not need to win 25 per cent of the votes in the FCT to be declared president, as argued by the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in their petitions.
Reacting via his X page, Omokri lauded the judgement, stressing that Nigeria would have been dragged into a civil war if Obi’s petitions had succeeded.
He said, “If Peter Obi had won the #NigerianElections2023 , or at the Presidential Election Petition Court, there would have been a civil war in Nigeria. Not may. Would. Why? Because he and his Obidients were just too arrogant and were already recreating, and would have further recreated the events that led up to the Nigerian Civil War.”
He claimed Obi’s supporters “were more fascistic than Mussolini”, while alleging that “after Peter Obi lost, prominent Obidients with direct ties to Peter Obi were openly calling for a military coup to restore Obi’s mandate.” https://dailypost.ng/2023/09/07/pept-there-wouldve-been-war-if-obi-won-reno-omokri/mynd44 nlfpmod Dominique |
