Government understand that in Nigeria there are people who have daily bread only if they go out to work that day, shutting dem off is starving families.. It is inconsiderate and insensitive of a so called Biafra where we are told will be the best to subject people to such inhuman forcefully lock down, so tee some are killed. The Senate, on Wednesday, condemned the Monday sit-at-home in the South East geopolitical zone and asked the Federal Government to collaborate with the Finnish Government to extradite a Pro-Biafran Agitator, Simon Ekpa, for “prosecution.”

The senators were given an immediate response from the Biafra leading Personnels.

The response read;

“Tell them the only legitimate government in South East is Biafra government, you can’t force the people to love and follow you. The people of the South East and South South has recognised Simon Ekpa as their Prime Minister In Exile. -PM

“Responding the motion from criminal senators from South East Biafraland sponsored by Osita Izunaso.
The Biafra government hereby ban all senators representing Nigeria from the South East from entering Biafra territory effective from today 26.7.2023.
They will remain in Exile until Biafra Independence. They are now collaborating with the oppressors and killer of Biafra people as enablers. _ Ekpa Simon Njoku Prime Minister of Biafra Republic “
That was the response from Biafra leading Personnels to the senators.

The upper chamber also resolved to invite the Minister of Foreign Affairs (when appointed) and relevant stakeholders to carry out thorough investigation as well as bring other sponsors of the act to book.

The illegal sit-at-home order is said to be enforced by a faction of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in five South-East states — Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Abia and Ebonyi.

The unconstitutional order was declared in 2021 to press home demands for the release of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who is being detained by the Department of State Services (DSS) and prosecuted for terrorism-related charges.

The Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, in July 2023, said the sit-at-home is making his state lose over N10 billion every Monday.

A Lagos-based activist-lawyer, Tope Alabi, has approached the Federal High Court in Lagos for leave to initiate contempt proceedings against Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele for alleged disobedience of the Supreme Court orders on its naira redesign policy.

Alabi made the application via a March 27 ex parte motion in the suit with Emefiele listed as the sole respondent.

Describing the naira swap as a “cash confiscation policy”, he said it had affected the day-to-day running of his office as his staff could not make it to work daily due to the non-availability of physical cash, adding that commercial drivers “do not have point of sale (POS) device/machine to collect fares.”

The lawyer filed a 28-page affidavit in support of his application wherein he claimed that the Supreme Court on March 10, in Suit No. SC. 162/2023, “directed Emefiele to make available and allow the old naira notes of N200, N500 and N1000 to co-exist as legal tender with the new N200, N500 and N1000 notes till December 2023.”

“The respondent who had withdrawn N200, N500 and 1000 old notes from circulation on 10 February 2023 has refused to comply with the Order of the Supreme Court made on 10 March 2023 till date by releasing the old notes to circulation.”

Tell Baba Bulaba to go and arrest Ekpa in Finland he is the cause of the nonsense going on in the South East.

If he should kill the people of the South East because of one man's evil activities instead of tackling the man. Then igbos have every reason to blame him for it.

The Finish government invited Simon Ekpa for questioning but somehow the case manage to die a natural death without Nigerians getting a response from the Finish government or FG.

And ever since then he has been committing all sort of atrocities in the south east unabated and unchallenged by the federal government of Nigeria.

The supreme Court has also so ruled that Nnamdi Kanu be set free (the man that could also help stop the nonsense) but FG is still holding him tight like their life's depend on it.
